Bloomin Beautiful with the color dare

Good day y'all!

It's Thursday, we are almost at the weekend!

ye! Aren't y'all happy about that?? I sure am!

Fun Fun!

talking about fun I had a little play time this morning and had a lot of fun

I worked with Hand Stamped Sentiments and The Color Dare

take a look

This is the

Color Dare Challenge

and now for

the sketch 

The hand stamped sentiments challenge

I am ready

then I chose my stamp

I decided to you Bloomin Beautiful - I haven't used it for a while!

I tried to stamp he he

goodness I was having a hard time getting the two flowers where I wanted them to be

blonde moment

so I finally succeeded

holly this should of need this hard!

I am going to cut out the flowers

now for a background piece

I don't really want to have it just white

but I did not succedd off the batt

took me to tries

I tried the Green Golore at first

I used Shimmery White cardstock

yha well that is NOT good at all

I went back to the drawing board

I went with pretty pink instead

that is better

I used both green golore and pretty in pink dabbers with white shimmer paint

to acheive this

I wipe it a bit to blend with a baby wipe

now for some layers and ribbon

I pulled out my crimper

I used black cardstock

created a little vase for my flowers

kinda cute uh?

punched two borders 

coming along nicely what do you think?

I used an aqua painter with my stamp pad and shimmer paint

to watercolour my flowers

I mixed the pretty in pink and high shaded with Melon Mambo

I cute it really tight around the flowers and the stems

that is coming along nicely

don't think I really like this???

Used Wellness wishes clear stamp set instead

I created a little trick for myself

see how I did punch this square - I put in a little ways and left a gap

take a look why!

do you see when I punched the black exact size of the punch I then get a little border on the top and bottom???
Kinda cool uh?

may not be my all time FAVOURITE or anything but I was really having a hard time today to come up with something different!

Good morning!

although we are not doing the 10 min card challenge today I have  a quick post for you

it's going to be quick I promise

the first thing I want to share is what I did with my cards from yesterday

with all your help this is what I came up with

so I combined the two most common suggestions into one

I have one more quick card for you

this card is my other swap card

I took photograph that I had a taken of a flower

I can't rmember where the flower was I know NOT my yard but anyways 

I wanted to over stamp and put a greeting......................

I did some matting

I used Vintage Vogue

& Wings of Frienship

I stamped in Chocolate chip and Ruby Red

I rounded all  the corners on my photo

now for a greeting 

I had tried the Blush blosson at first

but just was not really really loving it!

 

I think this is better!

here I created some butterflies

I was really needed to add some accessories

but I just was not liking the brown brads

then I remembered

you know I think those flowers were given to me by my co-worker Wanda!

It's her birthday on the 9th of March, lucky girl, she is in Mexico! :-)

Wellness Words

Good Tuesday Morning to y'all

so I finally got to play in my craft room a little bit this morning.  I have  some thank you cards that I really need to get done.  So here's what I created.  I am sorry it's not much, but Renee had  a pretty ruff day yesterday, with a fair amount of pain and nausea.  I spent a lot of time giving her lot's of TLC! After all she is my baby girl!!! :-)

Soooooooo I hadn't had time to play with my new Stamp set called Wellness Words yet.  I thought it would work real well for Krista and Sandi's cards.  I just let the cat out of the bag oops........... oh well! he he

then I used the sketch from Card Patterns

it's a cool sketch uh?

I hadn't played much with my "Thoroughly Modern" Designer paper (Stampin Up Idea book page 163) So I really wanted to use it for this card

and my cute little doggie stamp - 

taking about doggie, with all that has happened with Max and now with our Renee, how about a little feel good picture??

As you can tell "Max" has recovered from his surgery and he is happy once again HE HE:)

Now we just got to get our precious Renee to recover from her surgery and give us big smiles:)  

 

sorry - just had to share this with you..............

 

I then stamped the cute little doggie in black staz on

then I used my stamp pad lids to colour him with a blender pen

then I started working on the sketch

I used alot of texture card stock here - my colours are Bermuda Bay, Soft Suede and Rose Red

I used a standard card size 5 1/2'' x 4 1/4''

It's coming together - but boy do I have mess happening - yhikes

I used Crystal Effects on his little nose, eyes and thermometer.

the Thanks so much in the bottom I used one of my die (Stampin Up Idea book page 197 called lot's of tags) and ran it thru my Big Shot,

then punched out the two ovals with my punches (Page 186)

 

I used another stamp set, called Three Little Words! The bandades come from the Wellness Wishes stamp set........... too cute uh?

 

then I wanted to colour some buttons.  I used the Kraft Cordoroy buttons, love those, cause it's so easy to turn them into any colour my little heart desires.

 
all I did was used a dabber and my stamp pad and now I have Bermuda Bay buttons oh and fingers too

 he he :-)

 

and well there you have it my card  

I tied a ribbon and Voila!

I have a couple of upclose photos for you as well!

aint he just too cute?

the buttons turned out awesome uh?
