Studio Sketches with newsprint DSP

Good day

ouh la la guess what day it is!?? oh yha my friends it's Thursday

one more day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and ouh yes it's the weekend - he he can you tell I need a weekend! LOL

I need to work on Stampin Up Convention Stuff! Sure do need to get caught up! Wish me luck!

onto what I played with

so I first stamped an image from the Studio Sketched stamp set and pulled otu a sheet of the News Print DSP (OuH LLAAAA la I love this new DSP)

then I sponged and stamped

ouh and I am soooooooooo BAD cause I took out an old stamp that I just had to use with this one

do you remember the stamp called Fruit Stand?

oh I know I just thought this was the perfect set to go with this card

I coloured in fruit a little

matting colour choices

Final colours ended being

Cherry cobbler (oh my love this colour)

Early Expresso

Pear Pizzaz

and Very Vanilla

then I stamped another image from the same Studio Sketched stamp set

rounded corners

a greeting from watercolor trio and some brads

I coloured them (with the pear pizzaz marker)

and voila another collage card

Watercolor Trio Stampin Connect Sketch

good morning

I know it's Monday and I had to post yesterday!

I am super sorry..................... It ended up being a really BIG Sunday and I think I took on more then I could chew

yes ME - can you beleive it?

I started my butterfly swaps which I will share with your tomorrow

I had my beginner class on Saturday which was just amazing - I love teaching the others to stamp and get them addicted like I am he he!

On Wed, I wil share with you everything that our Sunday consisted of okay

but for now let me share a little easy card I created for the Stampin Connect sketch okay?

this is my sketch

so I started with this stamp set

Water colour Trio

and some shimmery card stock

then I thought of colouring this stamp

and well not soooooooooooooo happy with that lol

let me think about this and do something else

so decided to go visit my Mr. Big Shot I think he has been a little lonely lately yha know?

a lot of circles and flowers and I sprayed it with coloured shimmer spray that I made

now to decide what I am going to do witht these he he

crumple up

it's coming along

need a greeting now

I used the stamp called

Oval All which is retiring!

then I added some silver hardware!

and voila a card share

I truly feel like a really BAD blogging friends

I am so sorry that I have been missing alot lately

Watercolour Trio quick Monday Post

Hello everyone!

Today I have a super quick post for you

Sorry about that

first I had a really hard time focusing in my craft room today as we starte to do the renos on my room

I wanted to do get this done before the colour Renovation was here

anyways further to that I had a really hard sketch to work with don't get me wrong a GREAT sketch was provided to us for Stampin Connect website - Alex did such a good job on the sketch but I just could not

pull it off

I also usedEasy Breezy Kewl Colour challenge

so anyways here is my attempt

now for my card

Watercolor Trio "a Tone on Tone" Card

good morning everyone!

It's the weekend!

ouh yes I am so happy! :-)

so today I played with a new stamp set from the Summer mini!

It's Called Watercolor Trio - then I pushed my limits and went with a Tone on Tone - never done it before - but I was inspired by my sis' card that she sent for our swap! so here's what I did!

I also used the new Presto DSP

I know I have been using it alot - sorry - but every page is so pretty!

The beginning with my Presto DSP

I used a sponge to add Creamy Caramel to my DSP

I dipped in a shimmer as well

I stamped a few of the images from this set

the way I coloured the stamp was with my stampin write

I am not permited to show you the stamp prior to the mini going current

so I am sorry that I was not able to show you that step!

I tried punching the image with my large oval punch

YHA THAT DID NOT LOOK GOOD

soooooooooo I tried again!

so I decided to go visit Mr. Big Shot

I used the Oval Dies

and that worked perfectly

yhe!

so my colours are

very vanilla

and Creamy Caramel - easy peasy uh?

then I did the thank you greeting -

oh yha I forgoto to mention that I was asked to make a thank you card for one the parents on Renee's cheer team, as they donated duffle bags for the team.... So this is going to be their card

sure hope they like it???
