this is an up right view of my card - I did all the little dots with Crystal Effects and then did about two or three coats of Shimmery paint on each dot.

Late Night Stampers Colour Challenge #42 on Tuesday morning

Good morning everyone! It's official I am back on Canadian ground!

After 27 hours of travelling, I am back............... (yhap we have some pretty good delays along the way, even missed our connection flight in Toronto) But HEY, I am here, in my craft room, creating a card.

I honestly did not realize how much I missed home.  Max was my welcoming committee!

He is eating now and happy to have me back LOL :)

What did I do on 0 sleep!!! Yhap 0 sleep.  You see by the time I arrived at our home it was 1:20am, and I figured why bother.   I am sure that I will be crashing early tonight.  Having said that if this card, is not up to par, let's blame it on my jet lagged, tired brain LOL :)

okay, here's where it started.................

It was 3:27am........................

ofcourse first Max needed some much needed attention and play time..............

 

 now onto my mess..................... yhuk.................... I can't start my card till I have this mess cleaned up

clean up and drink a coffee and all will be better, right? LOL

Oh man I hope so....................

Really hope I can make this Colour Challenge from Late Night Stampers, come to life!

The colours are:

it would of been easy to make a fall card with this........... But I love to challenge myself, and drive myself crazy during the process LOL :) so I decided to do a Christmas card! OH MY I know...........

Nuts............. LOL :) HE HE :)

 going to use my Brand New Stamp set called "Wandering Words" (you see my new toys came when I was away)

 here's what I did first, I coloured selected areas with my Stampin Write Markers, then I painted on the little snow flakes with the Champagne Mist All Purpose ink with a paint brush. I huffed on the stamp before I stamped it, then stamped it on Very Vanilla card stock........

I punched snow flakes with my punch

added some patterned paper??? This is where my brain is hurting............ it is going to work??

heesh.........

more thinking................. more second guessing............. HE HE :)

well???

here is the final product!!!

it's hard to see that I stamped some pretty little snow flakes with the Champagne ink.  I used Senere Snowflakes. Here is an upclose photo..............

 
  You can see it a bit better here, I added a little dab at the center of the snow flake after with the Campagne ink............

well.......... that is it!!!

hope you enjoyed it............. I think tomorrow I will do better!

That is after a good night sleep in my bed LOL :)
