Good morning friends! it's MONDAY!
don't you just love my pep in my shoes for this fine snowy Monday morning
lol
not bad for being 3:00am lol
I have been up since 2:30 coffee in hand and ready to rock out this week
I actually plan on beeing at my office for most of the week
oh YHA this is going to be the week for me to catch up
happy happy!
soooooooooooooooo I played with a stamp set that I had not played with
It's called
Frame it! - while I was playing I came up with the neatest idea (that I will try soon and share with you soon)
I also used a really nice sketch from Stampin 411

my friend Lee is one of the designer on this sketch challenge team
oh but first I want to share our Sunday dinner meal
so Sunday Morning I made Homemade chicken tortilla soup with avocadoes - sour cream green onions and nachos
then I proceeded to make our supper
which was one of childhood favorites (thank you mom for being such a good cook and making this one and teaching me a long time ago)
Swiss Steak and dumplings
Mashed Potatoes
and Pastochio Carrots (thank You Wanda for that one - one of favorites in our family now)
and then I made Rex's favorite
Flapper Pie (Rex's mom's recipe - holly I was pulling out all the resources on this Sunday uh? lol)

here is the flapper pie - it was very very yhummy
okay enough about food
let's start on the card - which by the way is not 100% done
I will finish it as I do my post this morning!

so I started with these two stamps

trying to make this work

hum? well it's work in progress right
I stamped the Up in the Air side ways (I KNOW I am so weird lol)
and then I stamped the frame and embossed with pewter embossing powder
bt I am not super pleased yet

see I don't give up very easily
I will make this happen
I used black staz on which I stamped in shimmery white

ahw the sweet success
now I will cut it out and start thinking about colours

ouh yes I have not used Rich Razzelberry in so long
let's see what colour will go good
I love this chart it's the best to help you decide on colours

oh yes layers
I added Early Espresso

now for some DSP

DSP chosen and little ribbon treatment added
oh and I sponged the DSP to turn it more Razzleberry he he

now for the little frame
I used my aqua painter and the ink pad lid to colour the little flowers

can you tell I spent a lot of time on this card
I coloured some seam binding

little details on the frame

now for the details
amd this is where I was struggling
left it and came back to it
always seems to work

okay I came to a halt here
tomorrow I'll have this card all wrapped up
so until then I wish you all a super terrifik Monday!
PS please keep the suggestions coming (never know may just throw some Blog Candy your way - oh yes so please let's hear your suggestions)
embossed hug from me
