Vaseline and baby wipes really??? Yes!

It's true I used Vaseline and baby wipes

but golly I had a hard time!

I was working on my classes and my tutorials!

but first I do have to share something with you my loyal blogging friends

as most of you who follow my blog know that I lost my baby brother on Feb. 3, 2000

well today would of been my baby brothers 39th birthday

I can't beleive that he would of been 39 today!

it's hard to imagine as they don't age in our minds - I still see him as he was when he passed away

at the age of 28!

having said that I want to share a few photos with you

hope you don't mind!

I did succeed in the end although it took a while

like from 2:30am to 3:30pm

 

I really did succeed in the end

and I sure did have lot's and lot's of fun!

A Tribute for my baby brother Paul R. Methot

Today is not a regular day for me.

It's a sad day!

I gave this a lot of thought, on doing this post or not............ after talking with some of my blogging friends, I thought I would share this with you.

Today is Feb. 3, 2010. It is the saddest day of my life!

Today 10 years ago on Feb. 3, 2000

I love my baby brother, and my mom lost her son

He was so young only 28 years old.

Although I feel so bless that Paul and I got to have 28 years together I still feel robbed.

I want to tell you a little about Paul............

My baby brother and I were so close, he worked for me for over 7 years, and we were more then just siblings. Being only the two of us, we just had such a special bond.

I saved his life more then once, as he had severe asthma.

Sadly I was not able to save him on Feb. 3, 2000.

Paul was one of those people that everyone LOVED. He was admired by all who met him.

He was kind, generous, fun loving, hard working, he loved animals, & loved his nephew Evan (my son) so very much!

They used to hang on Friday nights and play pool!

Paul was one of those rare honest souls.

I want to share this quick story with you, this will show you what kind of a person Paul was!

soooooooooooo it's a stormy snowy night. Paul comes across an older fellow in the ditch.

of course Paul had to help him. Oh but wait it only gets better.

The fellow had had too many to drink. So Paul drove him home.

Then the older fellows pulls out his wallet wants to give Paul money, oh we are talking tones of money this fellow had thousands and thousands of cash in his wallet.  Anyways Paul refused, and he gave his business card, and Paul told him to call him in the morning and he would help him take his car our of the ditch after his was sober.

Sooooooo Paul could of taken a tones of money, of but not my baby brother,

 the fellow did phone Paul the next day, and he just was overwhelmed with Paul's kindness.

Paul never did take any money, he was so special!

I have a poem that I want to share with you. I did not write it. 

However sometimes, when we loose someone, people tend to not want to talk about that person.....

so here's a poem that is so dear to me,

The Elephant in the Room

There's an elephant in the room.
It is large and squatting, so it is hard to get around it.
Yet, we squeeze by with, "How are you?" and "I'm fine"....
And a thousand other forms of trivial chatter.
We talk about the weather.
We talk about work.
We talk about everything -- except the elephant in the room.
We all know it is there.
We are thinking about the elephant as we talk.
It is constantly on our minds,
For you see, it is a very big elephant.
But we do not talk about the elephant in the room.
Oh, please, say his name.
Oh, please, say "PAUL" again.
Oh, please, let's talk about the elephant in the room.
For if we talk about his death,
Perhaps we can talk about his life.
Can I say "PAUL" and not have you look away?
For if I cannot, you are leaving me
Alone... in a room... With an elephant.
