Stampin Stresss Away with Carole'Anne

Last day in Disneys

Whowzers it's Friday and I seriously do not know where the week has gone
A could use "memorable" to described my week here in Disney with Lee and other wonderful Stampin Up incentive trip earners. But I feel that word does not even cover it!(sigh)
I have met some really special fellow demonstrators, and have Savored my time during this trip!!!(I don't have any words that cools described this- I know I am not writer lol)
Our day yesterday was very relaxed and that was fine with me!!
We had a very exciting evening. Whow!!!!Stampin Up really knows how to put on a show!
We went to hollywood Studios last night and watched a little stunt performance!!
Then the big prop Rock wall opened up to an amazing set up for a beautiful dinner!!!
It really was such a MAGICAL night!!!
So let me give you a little explanation of my photos!!
The first photo is of of Lee, Cindy and I!!
Cindy is a fellow demonstrator from the US she resides in Pennsylvania!!(what a sweet lady)

The next photo is of the wall/prop that opened up to dinner!! I KNOW UH?!!
Then we have Lee and I with Mickey and Minney!!!
Next photo is of Sandi with her cute little hat with her husband Ian!
The last photo is of some sampling of some displays. After all it is a Stampin Up trip!!
I have way more to share but on my IPad I can only share 5 at a time
So it will fun to continue sharing even after today so you get to see even more!!!!

Black, White & Grey - wrong sketch for 10 min card

Good day

as you know I was a dork and did the wrong sketch for my 10 min card

But hey I still wanted to share it with you since I have to post it on Stampin connect anyways!

sooooooooooo here we go!

the colour theme is Black, White, and Grey

so we have not visited with Tess for a while uh!!!
Just had to have her for this card 

created some layers

I used my awesome new heart punch to make some decorative edges

I stamped Tess with Black Staz On on White

now I am making her some fancy pants

now I am cutting out her blouse

I used Bride paper he he :)

getting there but I am almost out of time

time out and I have to assemble

so pretty uh

 

I dedicded to do two different coloured ribbons

I used a big glue dot for the back of the flower

do you love my beautiful broken nail LOL

hey I am getting them fixed today!

so this works for the Stampin Connection Clean and simple

What do you think of another first for me

it`s all black white and grey

holly I have really stepped out of my comfort zone today

I did some Crystal effects as part of my stepping it up after my 10 min was up

okay well 13 min. was up I should say lol

Tote-ally Tess is celebrating a birthday

Good morning everyone

Tote-ally Tess is having a birthday!

So I am continuing on with the Inspirational cake from Late Night Stampers today

as well as the Stamping 411 sketch - haven't done that one for a while

This is kinda of a cool sketch

I started with some card stock that I chose from the big beautiful

Sweet Pea stack

whow what a selection! It's in the new

Stampin Up Occasions mini on  page 33!

here we go!

my colours  -

Razzleberry, Pretty in pink, very vanilla, so saffron and always artichoke

 

ready to start layers -

you all know how I do not like layers LOL :)

 She is sooooooooooo Cute uh??

She will be sporting a beautiful pair of Always artichoke slacks he he :)

punched with my oval punch then layers with my big shot die

now  I am going to try those buttons that I didn't use yesterday

hum??

no not going to work

so I decided to use my Kraft Corderoy buttons and  colour them

Soooooooooo  I used my Shimmer paint with the Razzleberry re-inker

and then I mixed with my Stylus

now onto a dabber and you guessed it

the Button :)

and maybe the fingers too lol

so I had lot's of mix left - I decided to use it for my ribbon - sure why not uh??

ouh and don't forget to get a baby wipe and then you run the ribbon thru it -

This will blend the colour really well on your ribbon

coming together nicely

so after all of this I used my corner punch on the background of Tess -

then I coloured with my pencils and

well..................

made a ribbon and assembled and now I am going to show you what my card looks like

That is the last photo of my card for the day

I wanted to share something else with you.

I would like to introduce you to my late Grandma her name was Jeannette Lavigne!

She was a fabulous, vibrant, caring, fun loving, and  a totally amazing lady -

She was my mom's mom, and today

10 years ago she passed away.

It was a really sad day for us.

My Grandma was way ahead of her time, she was a school teacher! A career women who was born in July 1918! Very amazing I think! So in July she would of been 92 years old!

 I would like to show you a special photo of my Grandma and I - I just love this photo cause you can really tell the special bond that we had.............

I used to just to love to spend time with her!

This photo is not recent lol - as you can see it's from our wedding day

But I just love this moment with my Grandma back in June of 1989!

Didn't she look fabulous she was 71 years old here!

Good day to y'all! It's Tuesday and it's our last few hours in paradise!

Sadly we are leaving today!

It has been fabulous and I have a few photos to share with you!

Tote-ally Tess 6'' x 6'' continues

Good day - it's Saturday Jan 2 nd, 2010 today!

We are off to explore Costa Rica today!

We had a really nice day yesterday - strolled along the beach, and lazied about along the pool

We had a nice dinner at the Asian restaurant - super great food!

I have a few photos for you and I also did a little more  on Tess - I know slow I am he he!

Like I have said - 6'' x6'' recipe scrapbooking page is not easy for me - but Krista my dear friend I am so determined to do a good job :)

aint it beautiful - we took a long walk down the beach and the waves were amazing

For the Bon Appetit wording I decided to create a little banner - which I made a template for so that I can duplicate it perfectly every time!

So this is my Bon appetit

and so this is the little template I created - I just hand cut it -

now I colored the tray cover and then I used the shimmer paint to bling it up a bit!

did you think I would go an entire post without shimmer paint lol :)

well here is what I am at

I am in need of something else - just have not decided?

is it okay to do brads on a 6'' x 6'' recipe card do you know??

Tote-ally Tess and a side step card

Good Saturday mornin everyone!

soooooooo this morning I tried my hand at a side step card!

I did two challenges into one for this card

the first ofcourse is the LNS #50 non traditional colour challenge

the second is Stamps & Smiles "Project Tuesday"

The Challenge was to create a side-step card!

Okay I don't think I succeeded 100% - but I will try again tomorrow complete witha tutorial for you!

so started with the challene and alot of stamp sets

only took me three tries!

Then I chose all my stamp- used Tote-ally Tess - cause you know you could win her she is

THE BLOG CANDY!

Also going to use lovely as a tree and serene snow flakes

now for some card stock

I used Ruby Red - Burmuda Bay and Whisper White

so I tried bleaching the tree - yha I didn't like it 

so I embossed them instead

she is coming along nicely I think??

I coloured my ribbon with my Bermuda bay maker 

 
I used my stamp pads, some shimmer paint and my aqua painter to colour!

then I used some Crystal effects   

now I am ready to dress up Tess! yhahoo sooo much fun! :)

so Tess is sporting a nice pair of Bermuda Bay Trouser with a beautiful Rose Red Blouse.

  Pretty little pearl accents on the blouse really set it off very nicely he he :)

Voila here is my first ever Side Step Card

now I am not 100% happy with it

I am recreating this technique tomorrow for you complete with a tutorial!

sooooooooo please come back tomorrow for the instructions on how to make this card!

Tote-ally tess turns into a non traditional Christmas card

Good Monday Morning to y'all

okay this morning it is sooooooooooooooooo COLD here !!!!! :)

 I just had to share this beautiful weather conditions with you LOL!!!

At least it was nice

and cozy in my craft room this morning!

Christmas is all about tradition, but we want you to use non-traditional colors to create your Christmas Card this week!  Retro Christmas is popular right now, too...lots of pinks, teals, lime greens and turquoise!  No holiday red, green or blue allowed!  Let's see what out-of-the box color combinations you create for the holidays! 

so I decided to work with Tote-ally Tess!

and I used elements from:

Cold & Cudly, Snow Buddies & Loads of Love accessories!

I used shimmer white card stock, chocolate chip, the beautiful Cocoa DP, and Taken with Teal!

I stamped Tess with Black Staz on -  I coloured her hair and put a little blush on her cheeks! Then I started to dress her up - ouhwhy fun fun!

I used my new beautiful punch!

oh yes and I used the Diva Coffee Break sketch

I almost forgot! he he to mention this!

 
Then I started to apply some Tambo  Multi purpose glue - I used my stylus to apply the glue to little areas.  This helps to not get glue everywhere! :)

Aint she pretty - I know I am goof, I just love this set! So much fun! She is looking Christmasy uh? Look at her apron he he :)

I coloured my ribbon with the taken with teal marker

and voila my Diva Coffee break non tradional Christmas card!

an up close look at the little pearls that I put on her apron.  I did emboss the apron. You can see how nice the ribbon looks after I coloured it uh?

I bet this bag if filled with Stampin Up! stuff he he :)

Tote-ally Tess new Stamp set fun!

Good morning it's Saturday............. ouh I so know I am sorry that I didn't post my pearl tutorial last night.  Just got home late............................

oh but wait till you see what I have for you today!!! Exciting

I actually have two really neat tutorial for you!

 

 The first being the clear mount stamps! OUH YHA! - I LOVE THEM!

and the second will be the promised pearls that I invented!

 

and tote-ally Tess Stamp set oh ouh la la!!! so exciting

okay sooooooooooo I started with Gretchen weekend sketch

 and some beautiful new Designer paper from my new Toys that I received in my fabulous Stampin Up box - who would think that one gets an instant smile on our faces, upon seing a BOX!!!! GOOF that is me lol

I started with Stampin my Tess lady - ouh she is soooooooo cute - ever mentioned how I love to play dress up??? LOL

TUTORIAL on CLEAR STAMPS

 

so my first tutorial I want to share with you is-

what you will do with your new clear stamps

 

When you open your beautiful little case - this is what will see inside

 

so you will first peel the back off a sticker

okay.... Now you pick up your rubber die cut stamp - you peel off the back

now apply the rubber stamp to the sticker - leave your sticker on the table and just put your stamp right one top - and don't seperate from the sheet - just leave it all in tacked 

like this!

 
now just pull off and you have a sticker on your stamp and we are ready to apply to our fabulous stamp to the NEW Stampin Up Acrylic Block

   apply to block

apply direct pressure for about 4 seconds............... now we are ready to stamp with our fablous new CLEAR stamps from Stampin Up!

I used Versa Mark and clear embossed it

Stampin Up Pearls Invented by Carole'Anne

tutorial

okay so we will start with Crystl Effect, Shimmer paint and a stylus

now we are going to apply the first dabs of Crystal Effects to our desired areas... with the stylus

let dry for a few minutes.

 
I am trying to capture the little drops that I did the Crystal effects

now apply a dab of shimmer paint on top of each crystal effects drop

let sit for a few minutes

now apply another coat of Crystal effects.............. and voila

You have BEAUTIFUL pearls invented by  Carole'Anne  he he :)

up close of the pearls - the shimmer on the paper is not from the shimmer paint - it's the NEW designer papper - it's so pretty
