Stampin Stresss Away with Carole'Anne

Quick Monday post with two sneak peak Thanks for Caring along with Gently falling stampin Up stamp Cards

hello friends

today is a quick post

got lots going on today!

sooooooooo I will share a sneak peak of two card that I created with

The stamp set called Thanks for caring

and the new stamp set called

Gently Falling

I used the technique called emboss resist

colour I used were really unique together

Always Artichoke

So Saffron

and Pool Party

can you tell I love to try new fun stuff

 
I used the colour coach to get two of the colours and then

went with the third colour on my own

 
and here are the two cards I came up with

one of the cards is for Nancy

you see she is one of the wonderful ladies that attend my classes

and a few weeks ago she lost her dear loving husband

and I wanted to make her a really special card

tomorrow Ill show you step by step of this card

but for today this is all I am showing you sorry

it's just that it's a very very special BIG DAY today

you see it's official The Sluchinski family own a quarter section of land

Rex and I have been seeking out a quarter section of land for almost 7 years

Rex finally found the perfect piece of land just west of were we reside now

soooooooooooo in June we proceeded with this deal

and today is the DAY

the land is our name and we get to start  making it our own

yhippy!

it's just land so nothing really exciting

but one day  it will be fabulous

you see Rex and Evan are so good with equipment and dirt work

so I know that they will make this 160 acres of land very special

all right that is it for me today friends

Stampaholics sketch challenge with Thanks for Caring

 
good Day it's FRIDAY whow where has the week gone?

it's been good but super busy week

a few installs which I always enjoy!

and we have ordered Renee a dress yhippy!

okay so now only the Stampaholics sketch

I have a customer who's brother inlaw passed away

so it was perfect for me to use this sketch for a sympathy card!

okay so I thought hum?

good time to use some DSP

started with bases first

I don't usually do that

but I had picked the DSP

so wanted to make sure the colours were going to look beautiful together

 
a little DSP

and a piece of seam binding

 
now thinking about the stamp

I think it will work

ouh and I had this scallop punched out all ready he he

love that

and the very vanilla circle was cut as well

so really cutting down my time he he

 
almost done a few more little details

 
stamped butterfly

 
cut out the butterfly and then put a little flower

I love the simply adorned flowers don't you??

 
then I pushed my luck but I managed he he

I put crystal effects on top of the butterfly and added a little shimmer with my aquapainter

it turned out cute

 
I am done in time

it helped having a few parts kicking about lol
