Good Saturday morning!
Hope that this finds you all super fabulous on this Saturday morning!
I have had an amazing morning all ready!
I was up at @ 2:40am and I am done my first card - ouh well I had started it yersterday he he:)
But I found another really neat challenge - take a look
As soon as I seen this I knew which stamp set I wanted to use on this challenge!
so I took out my Winter Post stamp set and my NEW Terry & Train stamp set! FUN!
then I chose some card stock - I decided to go with Ruby Red, Chocolate chip, Creamy caramel and very vanilla!
now I am going to stamp some snow flakes with Versa Mark
After I stamped I am going to emboss these pretty little snow flakes
then I inked up my Vanilla cardstock with my dabbers and 3 different colours of ink
after I inked it all up I wipped it just over slightly to expose those pretty embossed snow flakes
alls coming along!
had to do some colouring on my cute little bear
This little bear reminds me of a story about my Renee - when she was little (about 3 years old)- she was sick one evening......... anyways I was having a hard time to settle her down, and I had a collection of Boyds bears, so anyways I pulled down a brown floppy Bear his name was "SKIP" the bear. So anyhows;
I gave it to her! But then I started something really silly - I made Skip Talk to Renee - as I am typing this I am just giggling inside, (she is now 16 yha know he he)! Precious moments AHW!
Anyways, it became a ritual to have Skip the bear talk to Renee every night before bed LOL :)
so funny cause it took like a few years for her to figure out that it was really me talking and not Skip the bear- this floppy little brown bear was her budddy for a long time!
Now Skip is a bed ornament he he:)
okay sorry back to my card, just had to have a little moment here!
I put a few layers of Shimmery Champage Mist all Purpose Ink from Stampin Up, on my Snowflake, oh which I punched out with the punch!
I coloured some ribbons -
oh and by the way tomorrow I will show you how to colour the "Grosgrain" Ribbon that is in Stampin Up's Idea book on page 183 - a little different
then the way I colour the Sating ribbon I don't use markers on that ribbon - so won't you come back to visit tomorrow please?
then I just had to mess up HEHE - yha I made it so crooked oh my! it was really bad - so then I had to restamp the inside of my card - goodness
so this is the inside that I redid
now for the final product he he :)
There we have it - I tried to get a good photo of the card standing up - but the lighting is all wrong sorry about that!
I have a photo up close for you as well
it turned out pretty uh, what do you think?
oh yes my card ended up measuring 6" x 5 1/2"!
