It's a stampaholic sketch challenge day

 
Hi everyone

so sorry been missing

I am still having issues with my internet on my computer and really trying to post to my blog has caused me greif

using Renee's computer this morning to post - sadly though my photos were all ready on my computer so had to email the photos to Renee's computer

goodness

and I have so much to share with you all

hopefully today my computer guy will solve the problem

anyways okay so today is a special day for two reasons

first -

it's the stampaholics sketch challenge

second

22 years ago was our wedding day

it's seems like 22 years is a long time but I am not sure where the time has gone

you should see the card I made for Rex - i'll share that with you after I share the thank you card I made Wanda

told you had lot's to share lol

okay lets get down to the sketch

the frist thing I did was take my colour coach out

I am trying to use colours that I don't usually

so went with River Rock

and Cherry Cobbler

I used my big shot I love this folder so nice uh?

and voila I added three brads and did some dimentionals and

my card was created in 15 min and 22 seconds!

My Digital Studio Scrapbook page for Stamp-a-holics challenge

yhahoooooooooo it's Friday it's Friday ! lol

I am so so so keeping my fingers crossed that I get an entire day at home this weekend he he

anyways so this is Friday that means it's the Stamp-a-holics Challenge

this week we have  a Scrapbook challenge

it's all about your children groing up from little to grad

how perfect for me

cause my little Renee just graduated

so I made a page on MDS

with a bunch of photos from being a little baby

to little kid

to dance years

travel times

and Graduation

this page took me exactly 32 min.

pretty good uh?

 
so this is the page I created for the challenge

it's a short post today

but I really like this page

it brings back alot of different memories

I love the photos with her friends

too adorable

I also really love the photo take with my baby brother

oh and the photo with her dad is priceless

okay okay sorry I love the page blah blach

Stampaholics inspirationals challenge with Four Frames

 
 
hello It's Friday!

whow what a week it has been around home and the office - I am not even sure it feels like a Friday really??

But I will take it he he

it will be a busy weekend with Classes on Saturday and Sunday

it will be fun cause I am teaching a double slider gift card box that I invented

I think the girls and Darrell will like it??

okay so my friends today I have a really neat inspirational challenge from the Stampaholics

it's a great one

aren't the colours beautiful

so want to see what I did with it?

 
the first step was too look and see which colours would match best and with that I

grabbed my colour coach (Great tool)

 
so I decided on using the new DSP

some layers were added

 
I stamped the little frame from

Four Frame Stamp set (it will be in the summer mini)

with Black Staz On then I punch it out

 
now for a few more layers

 
I used some taffeta ribbon on the back of my center piece

 
not looking too bad right?

 
I used my blender pen and ink pads to colour the flowers in my frame

 
looking good

played with the frame layers for a bit

 
I used some seam binding with Lee's bow maker

and I created a pretty little bow

 
final details with some pretty little brads

 
just about done

and I decided after I was done that I would step it up

 
I did added crystal effects - which took me over my 30 seconds

I know my bad lol

 
this is my first version of this card

now like I said this is a 15 min card right?

so then I decided okay I can dress it up after the time is up

right??

okay now let's see what I did after this

 
took out pearls and some satin roses

 
the problem was that the roses were very vanilly

cardstock I used was confetti white

so I sponged with rich razzleberry

 
then I sprayed with alcohol shimmer spray

 
cute uh?

I used the tombo glue to adhere my flowers

 
voila my stepped up version!

hope you like it!

I added some leaves to the flowers as well

they turned out pretty uh?

okay so one last photo for you today and that will be the end of my posts for the week

have no clue what we will do next week?

any ideas?

Elements of Style along with the inspirational challenge for Stamp-a-holics

 
Good day y'all

soooooo today I have one big announcement before I start

it's my MOM's birthday today!

oh yes MOM

Happy birthday to YOU!

I look forward to seeing you Sunday and serving you a beautiful supper!

that will have to be next week!

the inspirational challenge photo

it's so cool

I chose to use the blue

which in Stampin Up colour is

Pacific Point

the stamp I chose was Elements of Style

 
I stamped the image twice

both on watercolour cardstock with Black Staz On

then I used the 2 1/2'' Circle to punch out a section of the image

this image I will colour with the

Stampin Up Watercolour crayons

 
I first deposited the colour with my crayons then I watercoloured them

look at my time

so far so good

I only have 15 min remember??

 
so my circle is all coloured and I sponged the edges cause I just don't have time to add another coloured layer

 
now I layered this card

I have all these measurements memorized so it takes to time at all

and I have a very vanilla piece of cardstock cut from before and even scored

BONUS he he

 
okay so then I stamped thank you

and look its terrible he he

so I restamped it and I will punch it out so I can cover up my greeting that looks BAD he he

 
fixing my error lol

 
almost done now and look I have 2:29 min

 
dimentionals and I am done like dinner

I will try to sneak in some pearls???

It's a stamp-a-holic challenge - I used The Petal Cone Die

good day it's FRIDAY yhippy for ME - I get to make a 3D

and so I played with a new thought

I created a heart box from the Petal Cone Die

I am going to have this full tutorial

for FREE in my Tuesday Newsletter

how fun uh?

 
so I cut out two of the petal cone

not on the fold

 
then I created some walls

 
I added some beautiful seam binding

 
assembled and then I decorated it with pretty flowers

which I am teaching how to make these tomorrow fun stuff uh?

ouh and that is not the only thing you will learn hehe

 
then I attached  a piece of lace and seam binding

did some layers

I used the same colours I have been using all week

I thought this card would add a nice touch to my other two cards that I did

I will have one more card to share with you tomorrow that I CASED from the

Stampin Up Idea Book

 
I did some quick math to make the 3 panels and voila how ealy

I love this DSP so pretty

 
HINT

I almost create a mask and store in my case (so this one I had done a long time ago and it was inside my stamp case waiting for me to use him lol)

so I stamped

 
now look at the time I am rocking this out my friends he he

I am going to cut this really really fast he he

now to put this card together and see how much time I have left to detail it

Baroque Motifs with a colour challenge from the Stamp-a-holics

 
 
it's FRIDAY which means we have an amazing colour challenge for the Stamp-a-holics blog thank you Cynthia for the colour choice!

so I played with these colours for 3 mornings!

but I finally nailed it

I used the Mojo Monday sketch along with these colours

want to see??

in the end I really did

 

succeed!

all happened okay?

 
so I took out my colours and I started with 15 min on my timer

 
I cut my layers

looking good

 

I used the new tulip folder for my very vanilla layer

 
I sponged and I am still doing good for time

 
then I stamped

I loaded my stamp with so saffron then coloured in with old olive and rose red

 
stamped

 
created some circles

oh yes with my circle cutter I love this tool

it's in the idea book

the Current Stampin Up one

on page 199 - a must have tool

 
okay then I stamped a thank you from the Occasional quotes stamp set

I stamped with rose red

 
now for some little details

are these little Pompom Trim

these are on page 35 of the new

Mini Occasions Stampin Up Catalogue

 
okay now I am almost done I used dimentionals on the back of this little circle

 
now for the last detail

I can do this

oh by the way I am working on really neat tutorial

it's called

"flower Fest"

I will have all the details on this flower in that tutorial

I sure hope to have it ready on Tuesday

Scrapbook page for Stamp-a-holics challenge I used a photo of Shelli and I

so as you all know I am not much of a scrapbooker he he - but I had something special to do this time it's was a photo taken at Stampin Up Leadership!

it's easy challenge this time

it's called LOVE

so you create a page with the them love

I decided to do the Stampin Up Leadership

as you know it was my first time and I totally loved it!

so take a look what I did!

 
I created this in My digital studio

it took me 5 min no kidding

so I still had lot's of time to make this page even better

 
I started with layers

I used confetti white and basic gray

 
now for some ribbon and seam binding

I am also using some beautiful flowers

they are from the new Mini Occasions Stampin Up Catalogue

I used the rose red ones and they are on page 15o fun

 
now to create a flower

cool thing

my next tutorial will be on

FLOWERS

all sorts

including fabric

are you excited??

that will be available on the 31st of January!

Stamp-a-holics 3D challenge a kleenex box

 
today I have a GREAT 3D challenge for you from the Stamp-a-holics!

how fun is that?

I went with a NEW DSP -

it's called botanical gazette

item # 121783

so my first attempt

I was silly and wrapped the kleenex box

oh but on the second attempt I was much smarter

I created a removable box he he

ouh and I am going to be doing that TUTORIAL FREE FOR YOU

in my  newsletter in two weeks

fun uh?

okay so wanta see???

 
so I cut out all my pieces and I score everything

I used my large label punch to make the center hole

 
the first dimentions that I used

this is the first two sides of the box

now onto the top

would you beleive that my time is only at 7 min used here

and the funny thing is that I fergot to take photos of my timer he he

 
this is the top dimention

I double scored if you can see

the reason is so it looks more like a rounded corner

 
so where I scored on the edges

I folded it and then I used my large label punch to punch the hole

I did this twice!

Cool uh?

 
then I adhered it to the kleenex box

which was my mistake he he

but you know I only had 45 min to make this project

and the other one that I did after this with the removable box

took way way longer he he

remember I will have that new tutorial available for YOU FREE in my newsletter

 
okay just adhering everything

then I will add a few little details

I have 9 min left yhippy

 

 
some pretty lace on the edge which took seconds

isn't that DSP beautiful

I love the little roses

they are in the Mini Occasions Catalogue that Stampin Up has right now

they are called vintage flower adornment on page 15

took me 41 minutes

pretty good uh?

and the second one I made is one that you can just change the kleenex box

better thinking lol

Greeting kids for the stamp-a-holics sketch challenge

It's Friday you know that means a challenge from the Stamp-a-holics

we have a really nice sketch for you today!

cool beans uh?

so I decided that Greeting Kids would work well with this sketch

I also used the new DSP that will be available in the

New Stampin Up Mini

Called First Edition

 
so took my stamp my DSP and off I went

set my timer for 15 min

 
I used black staz on and stamped my image on watercolour cardstock

 
then I used the 2 1/2'' punch

 
then I used my new die to cut the matt

 
okay this is coming along very nicely

now I will colour my little girl with watercolour crayons

 
all coloured

I never did end up using the pencils only the crayons

I love MY NEW Stampin Up Crayons

I also added smooch and look at the time

 
ghuhr I sponged and made a mess

no time to fix it now

 
voila I am done

I used glue dots to make it really quick

there we have it my friends

my 15 min cards done in 14 min 22 seconds
