Stampin Stresss Away with Carole'Anne

thank you card for my mom

good day friends

it's a Monday morning after a long weekend

if you are in the states happy 4th of July to you all my friends

I had some time to do a lot of different things this long weekend

I got to clean out alot of my cupboards which really felt great

I also got to play in my craft room

I made my mom a mothers day card

I started on Renee's 18th birthday card (should I say book hehe)

and I made Wanda a card

okay let's start with my moms and tomorrow I'll share Wanda's okay

 
here is where I started

 
some cut pieces of early espresso and the new lucky limeade

I really like that colour don't you??

 
now for some stampin

I used the stampe called

Simply Soft

it's the new hostess set

 
then I made flowers

I shimmered the early espresso circles

 
are you wondering what I am doing lol

 
it's a flower hehe

 
here we are my mom's thank you card

I like those colours together

 
the inside greeting up close

 
the other little flower and greeting

 
voila my finished card

Simply Soft along with Mojo Monday sketch challenge

good day friends

it's been a while since I have been able to post on a Saturday

although I am going to be working today I was able to sneak into my craft room to play a little bit

I have all these wonderful new stamps from the new 2011-2012 Stampin Up Idea book that are screaming my name lol

so I gave in he he

I decided to play with one of the hostess sets that I preordered

it's called Simply Soft

I also used the new

letterpress plates

the one I used is called Fancy Fan

I used the new colour called

Island Indigo

holly all sort so of new goodies I used to make this card

ready

so the first thing I did was used the beautiful new letterpress and then

I put it back into my Mr. Big Shot to get this

 
oops did I forget to tell you that I am doing the Mojo Monday challenge lol

 so anyways

I used this beautiful impression

and I cut them apart into

4 equal parts

to follow the

sketch

now this

is what I ended up with

 
then I played around with the circles in the bottom


then I decided to do this instead


then I stamped my image from the set called

Simply Soft

and I coloured


oh yes I used shimmer

and my stamp pad

the colour is new

it's called Island Indigo



then I used taffetta ribbon and I used

a sponge and my stamp pad and I created a matching ribbon

 
adorably done with Miss Lee's bow maker

love it!
