Stampin Stresss Away with Carole'Anne

Stamp-a-holics colour challenge along with Serene Snow Flakes

 
I am back all ready with a little Christmas card with the Stamp set Called "Serene Snow Flakes"

so this is a colour challenge that we have today on the Stamp-a-holics blog

wanta see the colours???

so I was determined to use these in a Christmas card

then I thought hey I am going to use that

 Mojo Monday

 Sketch

 why not rigth

let see what I can do witht his set

different colours and theme

hum

okay ready let's start

our timer and we are going to do this he he

 

can you tell I am determined???

 
so I took out two stamp sets

one called Serene Snowflakes

and the other is French set

it's still from StampinUp

"Quatuor des fetes"


I stamped the snowflakes with both

very vanilla and versamark

then I embossed with clear embossing powder


I love emboss resist

when I am stuck with colours that I having issues with

well I blend them with a sponge

so I used marine mist - river rock and cherry cobbler here


kinda cool uh?

I turned this card sideways for the sketch


I wasn't sure if I was going to like this he he


hum?

it's okay

not my favorite card I have ever made

but that's okay


I created a bow with Lee's bow maker

love that bow maker


I am done and look I have 16 seconds left phew


voila my card

I will show you some upclose photos and you can see where I put my Marine mist along with the sponging I stamped the snowflakes with it

lots of lace - seam binding

and a button with a little hemp

cute uh?


a little ribbon

I did it on an angle


and a photo of my card

I just don't know if I love it

but that is okay

Tote-ally Tess and a side step card

Good Saturday mornin everyone!

soooooooo this morning I tried my hand at a side step card!

I did two challenges into one for this card

the first ofcourse is the LNS #50 non traditional colour challenge

the second is Stamps & Smiles "Project Tuesday"

The Challenge was to create a side-step card!

Okay I don't think I succeeded 100% - but I will try again tomorrow complete witha tutorial for you!

so started with the challene and alot of stamp sets

only took me three tries!

Then I chose all my stamp- used Tote-ally Tess - cause you know you could win her she is

THE BLOG CANDY!

Also going to use lovely as a tree and serene snow flakes

now for some card stock

I used Ruby Red - Burmuda Bay and Whisper White

so I tried bleaching the tree - yha I didn't like it 

so I embossed them instead

she is coming along nicely I think??

I coloured my ribbon with my Bermuda bay maker 

 
I used my stamp pads, some shimmer paint and my aqua painter to colour!

then I used some Crystal effects   

now I am ready to dress up Tess! yhahoo sooo much fun! :)

so Tess is sporting a nice pair of Bermuda Bay Trouser with a beautiful Rose Red Blouse.

  Pretty little pearl accents on the blouse really set it off very nicely he he :)

Voila here is my first ever Side Step Card

now I am not 100% happy with it

I am recreating this technique tomorrow for you complete with a tutorial!

ouh yes I have a couple more photos for you

the lovely trees - embossed and glittered

up close of the pretty ribbon that I colooured and the wood flower -

this was left over from my card that I made yesterday - I put few little pearls in the middle
