StampaHolics 10 min sketch challenge

Good day!

oh my goodness I cannot beleive that I have been blessed with FRIDAY today!

I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo HAPPY! I tell you!

I am so ready to have one day off (only 1........... but none the less I am so happy)

so we have a wonderuful sketch today

the sketch comes from Debbie!

I have not used my Tropical Party stamp set yet

I thought okay I have to play with this set!

I also used the Sentimental Journey

my colours are

Shimmery White

Pacific point

Crumb Cake

Wild Wasabi

& bashful blue

okay lets's start with Debbi's sketch

 

really neat sketch uh?

here is my inspiration for this

 

here are my stamp sets

 

ahw pretty

 

so the first thing I did was use Mr. Big Shot and cut the large oval shape in shimmery white

 

after sponging crumb cake I used pacific point

 

so I have some sand - ocean and a sky

 

a coconut stamped and cut

 

not doing so good look a tthe time

 

I put crystal effect on my coconut just to bulk it up a bit

 

now for some bling

 

now to make it look like a little rope was wrapped there

the horse was tied there after your long ride along the beach it's drink time lol

 

and coila I am done

I did it in 18:25

I know it's suppose to be 10 min

but you know Madame Vilaine just will not let me win lately he he

I am second guessing as to if I should bring her Convention - what do you think? lol

and wait till you see what my sis did

Sentimental Journey with recylcle cardboard

hello my blogging friends!

I am real happy that the weekend is fast approaching and I can't beleive that the Royal Blog Tour is just around the corner! I am excited for y'all to see what I created!

just to give you heads up I will not be posting everyday during the tour - but we will still have the ten min challenge - what you will do it just go pass the my post with the Royal Blog tour!  I have to keep the Royal Blog Tour at the top!  so just wanted to give you heads up okay?!

let's start having fun with what I created for you!

I did a card today with the new set called

Sentimental Journey! I also used the Vintage Vogue set! Need combo uh? you will see why in a few min!

The colours I chose where Black, Very Vanilla, Ruby Red and Basic Grey!

I also used An old Stampin Up Box for the cardboard

are you ready?

Here we go!

I began with stamping a lot of images from the Stamp Set

I embossed some of the images

the reason I did that is make them more vibrant

I sponged my cardboard and used the beautiful wide ribbon

hum?

I am thinking???

have been asked what do I do when I stuck

well since Max is not as Creative as Darrell lol he is not much help he he

and Renee is sleeping when I am creating LOL
so I usually walk and and come back with a glass of water!

but sometimes that does not help either so I will leave it for the day and come back after work

during the day I will think about my card

and this is what I did yesterday - I started this card yesterday morning as I was doing my Wed. Tutorial post for you!  

This card was not coming together like I wanted to take a look

I decided to fill in some blank spots with

Emboss resist

I know I over it buuuuuuutttttttttttt................... 

 
love this!

 the inks I used were Basic Grey and Ruby Red

and at this point I am really stuck

so this is where I left it

and during the day I thought of the theme

and it came to me

I will make little pretend tickets and passport

ouh yes that will work

way way tooooooo CUTE he he

so exciting and got it and it's so much fun uh?

I know CRAZY lol

this is awesome

okay let's put this card together I am on a roll now he he

voila my travel card

I also used ruby red brads and I used the little tag

it's new from The Stampin Up Summer Mini!

this is  up close to the plane and my little sentiment wit the the Ruby Red Brad and you can see the emboss reasist really good here on the very vanilla

oh yha right I also used Kraft didn't I?? duh almost fergot!
