part 2 of Rue Des Fleurs Cards for Admin Week

Good morning

I cannot beleive it's all ready Thursday

which really feels like Friday to be since in just a little over 24 hours I'll be heading to the airport

you all know how much I love to travel and how this is one of passions

I know I have alot of passion he he I guess it makes life interesting

however THIS trip is beyond special to me

words really cannot express how excited I am

and so tomorrow I'll drop you a hint at the airport!

but for now let me share the last two of my admin cards

the first will be Kaylas

the colours for card

Basic Black

Whisper White

& Tempting Turquoise

I used the same dies as I did on Tracey's cards

I coloured her card a little different

I used the ink from my stamp pad lid with a blender pen

looking pretty don't you think?

voila Kayla's card

I like this colour combo

onto Renee's card now

colour I chose for Renee was Melon Mambo

used the same technique as Kaylas card

last details and I know present to you Renee's card

good day y'all

today is Tuesday 

well for me it feels like a Wednesday - as I hinted yesterday I am leaving on a jet plane on Friday

tomorrow I will reveal the location that the Jet Plane will be taking me

Some of you are VERY VERY close

haven't hit it on the dot yet but oh boy so close!

Today is my BUSY IN THE CITY day

I have all the year end stuff meetings to accomplish

I have an install in the middle of that and to meet a new customer

tonight we have doggie training 

this is why I am up at 2:25am so I can do it all he he

it was a good day yesterday of getting the office back in order and sorting thru all the trade show stuff 

we put alot of our stock that we have left away and we are ready to make decals and signs he he

it jus thappens though that I have month end while I am away 

(you know to that mystery location lol)

so Tracey and I had to nail that yesterday as well

But feels good we can have a nice clean start!

all right enough about my real job stuff

oh and last night I made that Maple Salmon for supper

it was so yhummy - even my non Fish Eater Tyler ate it - yhippy victory lol

The rest of the clan all loved it - I am lucky that my entire family all loves fish!!!!!!

okay so It's Admin week this week and I have three fabulous staff that I wanted to show my appreciation to

sooooooooo oh yes I made three cards 

I started with Tracey

I used her fav colour(purple which  in Stampin Up Colour is) 

Elegant Eggplant

all the cards share the same

Very Vanilla and Basic Black as there base

I used Rue Des Fleurs Stamp Set on these cards

I also used the wonderful Designer Cuts Cards on Page 9 of our current mini

so are you ready

I just love that Stampin Up has these wonderful new edgelits dies now 

and that there is even the impression embossing folders to match

see how wonderful this turns out with these two great Die Innovation

Rue Des Fleurs little thank you Card

Good morning friends

hope you all had a great weekend

my plan to post on the weekend did not quite work out

sorry

it was a busy one

Saturday I was up around 2:00am

I did come and play in my craft room for a few hours

then I made a huge batch of italian spaghettie sauce

also made some homemade dressing for ceasar salad

then got some garlic bread ready

some homemade guacamolie

last but not least made a dessert

called sex in a pan 

meal was ready and headed to work

Kayla and I worked till 6:00pm that day

it was a long day

Sunday brought a weird morning for me when I woke up at 1:00am and could not go back to sleep 

ghurh 

anyways 

I did all my house stuff that needed to be done you know the ones laundry bathroom blah blah

then went to the city and tried to shop a little (that was not successful LOL)

then had my hair done - after that we met up for supper with my MOM and Bill

it was such a nice dinner - we really enjoyed it (and I did not cook and clean up yhippy for me)

I will be sharing all the wonderful cards that I received this week - since I have not been stampin alot

oh but trust me friends today I do have a nice little card to share with you 

I used the Stampin 411 sketch for this one

I started with a black base

cut some mocha morning DSP

this is such beautiful DSP

following the sketch

just trying to decide how stamp will go on

a beautiful  bow

prepared to stamp I used black ink and gold

i coloured in the areas I wanted black and the areas I wanted gold

stamped - let's assemble

when I have lot's of layers I always use sticky strip to adhere

I wanted to make it fairly manly for Darrell

Rue Des Fleurs and a retirement card

today marks a bitter sweet day at our office

today is the last day that we get to work with Wanda (sniff sniff)

Sweet for her she will get to enjoy life!

bitter for us at Mirror Image And Enviromulch

Wanda YOU will be dearly missed

but I will say how very very blessed we are to have Tracey

whow girl you are doing awesome and we are so excited to have work with us

soooooooooooo see everything does work out rigth

but Wanda - I will miss YOU!

so here`s where I went after the faux mother of pearl yesterday

I stamped this beautiful image on the mother of pearl background

sponged it and cut it out with my circle cutter

then I used one of my new fabulous sizzlits die

it`s calle paper doily

oh I KNOW

then I used a greeting

I just did not have anything that suite the card

so I with with the words

Happiness Always

fitting right for a retirement card

then I had to colour a ribbon

I used the poppy Parade colour to match the cardstock

ribbon done

now for details

almost done

I will admit I am in a funk when in my craft room lately

so maybe between the emotion of making this card and feeling stressed with everything that needs to be done - and working tomorrow and leaving Sunday

I know you get the picture sorry blah blah blah

I did use the mother of pearl technique

lol

also the clocks hanging are fitting cause Wanda will not have to worry as much

about clocks now as of today afternoon she will officially be retired
