Stampin Stresss Away with Carole'Anne

Plant hope continues with inspiration from the Stampin Up idea book

Good morning

hope your Monday was good and your Tuesday will be even better

we are crazy busy at work this week and we are tryin to get ready for a tradeshow

I know I think I am CRAZY

lol

okay so remember the inpsirational photo yesterday from the Idea book

well moving onto day 2 of the card creations with a Carole'Anne twist

I pulled out the trees out of the Plant for Hope set

I started by using the same technique as yesterday with colouring right on the stamp

I used Old Olive and Early Espresso

and I also used the same cardstock

it's the Confetti white

I used a beautiful texture to add something something

now for some details

I used tombo glue to put the buttons down

a little greeting and then I am done

what do you think of make take on this card

again a great man card

but it could pass for anyone really??

so this is my second card for the week

tomorrow I will share a recipe

I am not sure which one yet

so many choices and Ideas uh?

I guess it will be a surprise lol

so for now I will leave you with well wishes for the fine Tuesday

Plant hope masculine card - reproduced from the stampin up idea book

Hello friends

it's a new week

it's going to be a good week I can feel it!

We had a successful week last week and Friday was wonderful Renee and I learned so much from a new supplier

I'll share some of that a little more in the weeks to come okay?

ouh and Saturday brought a wonderful (kinda like a Sunday dinner)

all my kiddlets were home

We had Evan and Kayla

Renee and Woody

Tyler and Shawna

and Rexy of course

dinner for 8 was served

I made yhummy Slow cooked Pull Beef (in a smoked beer sauce that I made)

I also made creamed potatoes

broiled broccolie

and I had made cream of broccolie soup for lunch

so that was dinner Saturday night

oh yes sorry you are not hear to read about my blah blah right lol

all right let's move onto my theme for this week

I have taken a card from the Idea book and I reacreated it to make it a

Carole'Anne card he he

ready??

so I decided to pay with

Plant hope stamp set and reproduce these two cards

stamps ready

choosing a bit of different cut out shape

now for some colours

hum thinking thinking thinking

Time to stamp
I used the stampin write markers to colour right on my stamp

after it was stamped took out my pencils and coloured the little pot

and blended it

I used Confetti white for the cardstock here

then I cut out this cute little tree

it's looking good

all rigth we are getting there right?

greeting and then I am good to go

ready to see the final look of the

Carole'Anne Card inspired by the Idea book card

voila my first card of the week

Day 2 with The Split Negative Technique and Plant hope

It's the beginning of Tuesday morning!

I was not at work yesterday so today should be interesting uh?

get my post done real early and be at work by 4:15am

should be able to make up for lost time

okay so friends here is my other card

 
taking with what I had on yesterday's post heres where I took it

I first got some white satin ribbon

and sponged colour on it

I used the new Lucky Limeade

I sure do like that colour

 
now for the layers

cardstock used on this card are

lucky limeade

chocolate chip

early expresso

white

 
looking nice uh

will put a greeting and this card will be done

I like the ribbon on this one

 
a couple brads and this card is done like dinner

 
there it is my second card what do you think?

Split Negative Technique with Plant Hope stamp set

 
goooood day friends

It's Monday and over the weekend I played again with The Split Negative Technique

this time I took out one of the newer sets called

Plant Hope!

so here's what I did

 
I went with versa mark with chocolate chip craft

then I embossed

 
okay shimmery card stock is not going good

 
allright that is better I like the white instead

 
for fan plate

 
looks good

 
all right I will make these two cards very different

I will show you the one card and then the second one will do tomorrow

Plant hope Watercolour Reflection card

good morning

it's today!

The Reflection card tutorial

ofcourse I could not do the same image cause that's boring LOL

sooooooooo I went with the Palm tree from Plant Hope! YOu know that was the one that I had started with a a long time ago LOL???

 

my first step was to have my water colour cards stock out and my stamp

I then took out my stamp pads

which were

Marine Mist

Pumpkin Pie

More Mustard

and then I used Early Espresso

 

I started with the marine mist and just chose some areas to water colour

I did a little piece of land with the Early Espresso

 

then I did the same thing with Pumpkin pie

keep in mind that your aqua painter is quite wet

 

then I blended the entire area with more mustard

it will fill in the areas at the same time!

see how wet it is

NOW IT'S IMPORTANT TO LET IT DRY

before you stamp

can you tell I have made that error before! he he

 

I used black staz on with my palm tree stamp

from Stampin Up Plant Hope I love this stamp

 

then stamp the same image on a window shee

they are in the Stampin Up Idea book on Page 205

(now work quickly here so the ink does not dry)

 

now position on the bottom where the palm tree would relfect

now rub the black area so it transfers onto your image

now I remember I said I something different - well I am still mastering that

I am looking forward to sharing that this weekend for you

 

I added a little wild wasabi to the palm tree

 

okey dokey

now I need to add some layers to this image

 

I am thinking maybe marine mist??

 

now for some minor details and I am almost done

 

here we are 

my card is done

I decided to leave off a greeting not sure if that is the right decision but I think I like it the way it is?? What do you all think?

 
I added a little bit of champagne mist to the bottom of the image to look more like sparkly water

It's a hard task for me to keep it simple

Thank goodness Renee is fabulous she keeps saying

Plant hope and the Paper Players Sketch

Stampin Up Plant Hope Sunset Card!

I did it!

good day y'all

well as promised I have my card completed

I know a few days later

but I guess better late then never he he :-)

so a quick reminder this is the sketch that I worked with

it's from The Paper Player Sketch Challenge

this is my first time playing along with them

all right so let me just show you real quick what happened on Thursday and where I left off 

 

now let's see where I took it

 

circles circles and more circles

 

I also tried some other watercolour sunsets

I will mount them next week and show you how did them

but for now let's continuing playing with the circle palm tree one

 

so I chose this one!

I went with  Pretty in Pink Card stock along with Pacific Blue

 

took out my texture plate and put some white cardstock thru my Mr. Big Shot

a little sponging

 

some punching

 

ribbon colouring

 

well what do you think of this card??

I know it took way way tooooo long

but yha knwo had alot of trial and errors

and well my dear friends that is what I have for you today!

Plant hope - a little tropical trip!

Good y'all

Sorry I was MIA yesterday!

I was not in the best of shape and so I had to take the day away from the world to recover!

today is a new day! I am here in my craft room and I am playing! Everything is PERFECT!

 

so I took out my stamp set called

Plant Hope I love that Stampin Up created this set I am so enjoying playing with it!

so here is what I took off of Google images

and well let me just say that it did not work out the way I wanted it to lol

let me tell you first that I wanted to play along with a new a challenge

 

The Paper Players!

so here goes nothing lol

I started with a lot of ink

my first few attempts were on Confetti white card stock

I am sad that I can't finish this

but I will do it Saturday -

I have to take my chikie for some allergy testing today!

 

so far this looks fabulous LOL
k just WAIT 

 

I sponged some colour and yha that is not so beautiful lol

 

oh I know it's not so beautiful

and I am NOT loving this LOL
 

yhap I am going to try again lol

 

the black staz on just did not look very good on the confetti white

so I tried the same technique on Glossy White card stock 

take a look

no no it's not a success lol

 

it's not so bad but I am just not 100% happy with it

anyways I did try to make the circles out of them and this is what I ended up with

 

hum???

 

these are the best two

now now it does not mean that I am actually going to keep them lol

anyways my friend I promise to finish this mess on Saturday

again I am so sorry that I have no card for you today!

hope you understand though

it happens right???
