good day friends

It's Saturday and that means a weekend -

a little time off I hope will be for my family and I this weekend

hope to spend some time with each of them

but first before everyon is up and at it

let me share the last card in this series

 
remember these are the four cards

the only card I have yet to share is a shaker card

I have never made one like this before

It was super duper easier with the new

Stampin Up

Sharker Frames

and I also used the new Mica Flakes

 
so another sheet of DSP

this is got some glitter to it

colours

Very Vanilla

I first cut out the circle with my 1 3/4'' circle punch

then used this scallop circle punch on the outside of it

 
you can see I stamped the image on a circle shape

that I cut out of my circle cutter

I then layed the new shaker frame over

and the scallop punch will go right over

oh but first I have to add the flakes

 
and I stamped the merry christmas greeting with

Hand Penned Stamp set

colour I used

Real Red

I used Real Red Satin Ribbon here

 
look at that shaker part

okay I have to admit

maybe I put a little bit too much of the flakes lol

but it was my first time he he

I think I got to excited and over did it

better next time lol

I really enjoy this new quilted satin ribbon

this colour is cherry cobbler

oh yes and I stamped the greeting with the new set in the mini ofcourse

called Hand Penned holiday

I am so going to use this set alot

its a fabulous look

then I added some Crystal Effects to the berries

okay maybe just in my mind

but that is good enough for me he he

so tomorrow will be stampaholics challenge

won't be posting a Christmas card

good day another Christmas card coming your way with some

stampin Up DSP

today is August 9th

and 21 years ago we were getting ready to welcome our first child into our family

Evan will be 21 on the 29th of August and

I remember this day cause it was 20 days before his birth

although he was actually suppose to be born on Oct 10th

(I know what happened uh)

lol

anyways I remember August 9th 1990

this was the day I had the last ultrasound before Evan was born

I had gone into premature labour in June so they monitored me

very very carefully there after

they were hoping to keep this little baby in my tumny until at least mid Sept.

well if anyone knows My Evan they know that this child has a mind of his own

and I love that about Evan totally love that

he is such a strong minded young man and I admire that so much

anyways just had to share that with you

I coloured the stamp with my stampin' write markers

real red and wild wasabi

 
I used the new embossing folder on this card as well

then added some beautiful pearls

oh my goodness I love the ribbon

it's called 3/8'' quilted satin ribbon I used the early espresso colour on this one

love it

did I mention I love it lol

I like that this DSP does not just work for Christmas

you could use this all year round

it's a neat sketch

and there we have it a cute little simple Christmas card

I am trying to get all my cards done by Nov 1st this year
