A birthday card with "on the grow" stamp set

hi everyone

sorry could not post yesterday

was certainly one of those days and it just did not work out like I had planned

oh well today is a new day which feels like a Friday he he

okay let's get down to business hehe

let me show you a card I made for one of my coworker who's birthday was yesterday

 

started wth a 6'' x 6'' base card in white and layerd black

 
some big shot action hehe

 
a couple of lattice die cuts in white and black

 

then I stamped the image on shimmery white card stock with black staz on

 
coloured and cut out

 
it's comin along uh?

 
a ribbon and a greeting and this birthday card will be complete

 
oh and bling ofcourse lol

little flower pot up close note that I put crystal effects on the the little pot

 
voila my card

I am Back and have a fun thank you card created with On The Grow

sorry for being missing in action for over a week - hope you all understand!

I am back and hope you enjoy my post today!

I played with the new stamp set called On the Grow From the new Summer Mini from Stampin Up!

 

I first stamped the cute little flower vase with Black Staz On

 
I coloured

 
crystal effects

 
I decided to do something different

I stamped on watercolour cardstock

 
then I finished colouring another one and I cut out the flowers

 
then I tried the cystal effects again

this time it's much better

 

 

then I created a slider of sort card

it took me a few tries to master this correctly

on the weekend I will have a tutorial for you all on this!

 
then I sued this cute little thanks stamp

 
and I stamped a part of the flowers

this is the slider part

 
too cool uh?

 

it's coming together

 
I am working on the insert now
