Good day to y'all

so today I have something so different for you!

What I was working on these past view days, is a new background technique that I created

I was so intense into it that I did not even take photos until after

do y'a think I will be able to repeat this???

Who knows LOL

okay so I also used Bleach - I am going to do Bleach on Saturday again, but in entirely different way then today.

soooooooooooo................... I used the colours from the Just Us Girls Challenge

I beleive this challenge was created just for me lol

This is more what I am comfortable with

so these are my colours

I will show you as we go the stamps I used cause I changed my mind alot he he

and I had  a HUGE HUGE HUGE ROSA moment

ready for a few giggles

okay here we go! LOL

okay so like I said after making my background with

ink, watercolourcrayons, markers, shimmer mist and shimmer paint this is what I got

but this is not the end product just you wait

okay then I used my stamp (dragonfly from the Natures Nest - I got this stamp cause Sandi made such beautiful cards with this set, and I had never even noticed in the catalogue - my bad - thank you Sandi)

What I did with this is I used a paper towel soaked in bleach - in a little container and put the stamp right in the bleach - and stamped direct to card stocke

cool uh?

okay now let's see what other kind of damage I can do lol

okay so I some layers with dabbing ink a sticky note

I show you in a bit

then I decided to use the flower from of the earth

WARNING
I did not like it lol

oh my goodness

do you know how lucky I am that I used Craft ink???

I was able to wipe it!

with a BABY WIPE

okay so now took off the flowers that I did not like

and I am adding more colour (that went away with my wipe) lol

I used a wripped post it note and all three of my colours

I applied on a dabbers and dabbed aways

so I decided to go with Asian stamp

BUT I did not use part I avoided getting ink on the bird!

I am using this beautiful ribbon and I am going to make knot in it

but then I decided the greeting was to big

so I trimmed it down

trimming

now for knots in the ribbon

now for some bling bling

it's coming together now!

The Greeeting is on and I just have to finish the layers and put the dragonflies on

Sandi and I's 10 min card challenge "Of the Earth" stamp set

Good Thursday morning y'all!

we sure have an exciting post today!

It's the 10 min Card Challenge that Sandi and I have teamed up to do!

However there is something super special about today!

okey dokey onto my card!

I had actually designed this card while I was in Greece(it was perfect cause I was limited in supplies)!

so I was using ink spots, which worked so well for this.  I found the craft ink much easier to blend! Are you confused? Sorry, you will see what I mean in a few min, cause I have all the details.

 

so I started with handy dandy timer!

my colours: Rose Red - Taken with Teal and Curry (well I used Yo Yo yellow in the ink spot - cause we don't have curry in craft ink)

paper's cut and things are going well!

 
I chose to use "Storybook Specialty" Paper this paper is textured and is so nice! (it's on page 163 of the idea book)

this is what I was meaning about blending well.  I used my dabbers with the craft ink to colour in the stamp.  However on the stem I used the makers - just because I need to be very very precise!

 pretty uh?

I added a few layers and the rose red card stock - I had only used the ink in the first card!

I also embossed the greeting and added some brads.

so I had this beautiful tutorial all done for you; using the stamp-a-ma-jig.

Well I royally messed it up!!!! my stamping I mean, so won't you please come back tomorrow, and I will post it then??

see??? I had over stamped it in versa mark and then embossed it.

 

oh well this is going to be good card technique tomorrow, just a different stamp lol :)
