Back into the swing of things and a new announcement

Gooooodddddd Wednesday morning to you all my stampin blogging friends
Sorry I did not get to post yesterday
My week back into work mode has been gratefully filled with a ton of work
Oh yes I truly looooovvvveeee it!
It's been a super first two days with no less then 13 hour days! Sweeeeetttttt lots of work ahead so super super thankful
It also meant that squeezing in my yoga and blog post proved a challenge!
But here I am this morning
I first wanted to share 5 last photos of our beautiful family trip
Loved every moment and savoured my gift of my with my treasured family
Then on Sunday night I was blessed with an amazing turkey dinner with French yhummy yhummy yhummy stuffing at my moms and Bills! Thank you so much mom dinner really was so delicious and enjoyed our visit. You are still the best cook! And stuffing was so the best!!!! Ouh the skor cake to die for!
When we got home on saturday we picked our special little Max from Wanda and George!
He was so well taken care of!
Thank you both ever so much for being our Maxie sitter!
You have no idea how very appreciative we are for your dedication to our Max!
Thank you thank you thank you!
Monday and Tuesday Renée spent doing a huge install on a crane! We had never done this type of install with stripes on a big crane like that. Ill share photos promise
I love being on site and doin installs!
It's so rewarding! It also is so special to do job with my beautiful daughter! Who would have know that she would part of my business?? Considering that when I started my business she was still in my tummy! Ahw! Savouring that with a big yoga breath he he
A bit if a challenge to try to get my office caught up with only being in the office from like 4:00am to 8:00 am then go do install
Oh but I looooovvvveeeee it
Annnndddddd Tracey is so awesome she is always so ready and willing to help and she looks after me!
Your the best Tracey sooooooooo super blessed - I thank you ever so much!
Renos are also not 100% done buuuutttt it's liveable sooooo that's super awesome!
All of this means that my stamp room has not seen my presence in a while
I miss my creating time in there and with my combined class coming at the end of january I really need to get into my stampin groove
This is where my announcement comes in
It's a two parter
Part one I am looking to find 6 people to do a monthly swap card with!
How it works we would do this for 7 month
Each person would choose a theme(for that month) and you make 6 cards and send them to each member of the swap team(open to US And Canada)
Part two i would feature each card on my blog during that month and feature the theme as my blog for that month
So what do you think?

Happy Mothers Mom!

Good morning my friends!

Today is a special day for all mothers out there!

It's special in good many ways

the first I would like to wish My MOM  a VERY VERY Happy mother's day!

today is a good day (but it is a bit sad for my mom as well)

you see my mom had two wonderful kids

she had me in the 60's (we will leave at that LOL)
then in several years lady in 1971

my little baby brother was born

if you follow my blog you know that my brother is no longer with us

:-( but I want to make up a bit of that for MY MOM
so Mom I hope you enjoyed your little surprise yesterday

and I look forward to our Fondue FEAST next Sunday!

ouh and you should all see the wonderful mothers day card I made

 she has not seen it yet so I am so sorry can`t share it yet lol

I also would like to say

`thank you so much Mom for helping us the other week`

so blessed to have you and I hope you have a wonderful mothers day today and I look forward to treating you like a queen next weekend

cause you deserve it - so mom you have a super great day today and we will make up for today next Sunday

today is a special day for another reason

ofcourse cause I have a two amazing kids that call

me

Maman (French for mom)

funny they also call me mommy alot - even funnier that my Evan is almost 21 and my Renée is almost 18 lol

being a mom is the most special job anyone can ever imagine

sure I love my full time job (mirror Image Decals & Signs - which by the way I celebrated by 18th anniversary yesterday of the first day I started - ye into my 19th year now ) and my side job Stampin Up

but Being a mom to Evan and Renée is by far the most amazing feeling ever

yesterday Renée and I left on a road trip together -

we are in Calgary this morning - what a super wonderful get away

trust me after the last few weeks - this feels so good

I will be sharing some wonderful grad photos with you in few weeks - as Renée will be graduating on May 19th - fun stuff!

My Evan has worked so hard at refinishing his room so I think that will be my surprise when I get home - new painted walls - and beautiful hardwood floors

Rex - Evan and Tyler have worked so hard to make it awesome -

I also have a few kids that I would like to say are like my own little adopted kids

take Renée friend Maryssa - Tyler (my nephew) - Woody(Renée`s boyfriend)

and Kayla(Evan`s girlfriend)

so you can see I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family

then I have our Max and our wonderful faithful Goldie!

sorry that I do not have my tutorial done

getting a daughter ready for grad is much like a wedding holly cow

so we have a dress now yhippy it is getting a little fixed not much but a little

we also have her shoes (beautiful)

we have jewerly

so now we need a little clutch and my baby girl is ready for grad

we also dressed my Evan last weekend with a great suit and an awesome shirt

oh and Woody also got his suit (his grad is June 4th)

Kayla got a super cute dress - I have to hem it for her and fix it a bit but it`s great

then on Sunday we dressed Rex in a nice suit jacket

and a really nice pair of black jeans (okay so you have to know super hard to dress Rex)

he wears a 44 jacket but he is tiny in the waist

so we can never get him a suit

anyways he is ready as well nice shirt and tie oh yes I have to pick up his jacket from the taylor yet but that is easy

and me - well I am not sure what this maman will be wearing yet

and I wear a 4 1/2 in a shoe so should be fun uh!

Today's Post is a non card post

Good day my blogging Friends

Whow it's Saturday and I was so happy to see the weekend come cause I got a BEAUTIFUL surprise

yesterday................... YES my box of Stampin Up Pre order came!

and funny, Liane had received her box on Thusday.......

and she brought her beautiful new things for show and tell!

she also had displayed them all over my office and we thought that maybe we would of gotten to sneak out of work early to play........

well that did not happen it was a CRAZY CRAZY day!

to top all that off, I can't even play this morning

let me explain

first I need to do some heat press shirts for a birthday party

then..............

 this is the sad part of my post

one of my friends(Michelle) - has a son same age as Evan (19 years old), anyways

my Michelle's son's best friend tragically past away yesterday morning

Teen dies in Stony Plain industrial accident

A 19-year old man from Spruce Grove has died after a load fell from a container he was unloading.

The incident happened at 8:15am on Friday morning at Ellis Drive in Zone 3 Acheson Business Park.

Co-workers called 911 and tried to provide emergency first aid. The man was transported to an Edmonton hospital, where he passed away.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family and friends of his youung man!

It's very sad for his mom, close friends, family and the community a like.

 I have been asked to make 600 decals for a memorial decal

therefore I will not be playing with my new toys today which means that I will not be posting a card today

I am truly sorry!

 I just have to do this for Michelle and the family!

please bare with me, perhaps on Sunday I will get to play if I am a really good girl at work today!
