It's Wednesday!
Gooooddddd morning to y'All!
Hope you had a really great weekend
Ours was super busy
Oh yyyeeessss sure did love it
Had my boys home for the weekend and always savour them moments
We also worked part of the weekend and loved every moment of it!
I was thinking on Saturday morning as I was premasking decals - how very grateful and blessed I felt to go to a job that I so love and really happy to be at
Weither it's on a Saturday morning or not!
I love my job so thankful
I just love my life!
Sorry it's true!!!!(dork moment lol)
On Sunday I got to spend time in my craft room for several hours and finished up my Easter swap cards
I also finished designing my class cards for the weekend
We have Annette's class on Sunday !
On Monday mornin which was a day off I made homemade eggs Benedict for my beautiful family
I just totally savour them moments so very thankful
Also did a lot of cooking and baking during the weekend
It was great!
The week is shaping up nicely we had our yoga class last night which is amazing thank you Kate you Roooccckkkk!
Sooo ill quickly explain photos and then I gotta get goin!

It's a great part of my job

Goooooodddddd morning friends
I know I am super sorry for my lack of posting lately
I am happy to report that I have visited my craft room often though in the last couple weeks
Which is fabulous right
We had a really nice class Sunday with both of my groups
I loved having the girls back
Ouh the food yhum yhum
My mom made delicious stuffed bread sandwiches and rice crispy squares and Kathy brought a dessert to die for
Call " heart attack in a bowl"
Sooooo gooooddd
Oh and yes I'll be sharing the recipe that she gave me
Ill be putting into an MDS
I also had woodys brother along with his fiancé and their precious little boy Rolande for supper. My mom also stayed to have Sunday dinner with us - thank you mom for your clean up help after class so much appreciated it!
I made Swiss steak dumplings, mashed potatoes and glazed pistachio carrots
Soooo nice to enjoy Sunday dinner in our kitchen that has a nice tiled floor and a beautiful table
So very blessed and really enjoying the renos
This week has been a good crazy busy week
I am very very grateful to have a ton of work
We have installs of all sorts
It's fabulous
Boys have good steady work as well can't ask for more i can only be very very thankful! Deep happy breath ( thanks yoga for teaching me this)

The first three photos I am sharing is how my girls at work started their Monday
I put a cute little tag on their gift cards
Just to say happy Monday and I appreciate you
The other two photos are Charlie and Max
The Charlie photo was taken on our back deck last week when we had some beautiful hot weather
Yesterday we sure did appreciate that hot weather - cause yes it was -27c
And with windchill it was -40c
Buhr baby it was cooolllldddd
I made homemade soup for the girls at work to keep us all warm and cozy lol

My Digital Studio Recipe for White Chocolate Caramel Popcorn

Good day y'all

Its a nice Tuesday morning here

and I am up and at it early to get this recipe posted for you my friends

this recipe comes from my friend Penny

I tell you she made some of this popcorn for me for Christmas 

It was so delicious that I just had to get the recipe

I put in a nice pretty MDS template

I am sure you will love the popcorn if you make it

cause it's really so yhummy

Thursday quick post

hi friends

sorry this will be a very quick post today

short and sweet as they say right?

I am a bit behind the 8th ball this morning

I have a different thank you card to share with you all - but that will be tomorrow!

Because it will be a long post as I did lot's of science experimenting to create it

soooooooooooo that will have to wait till tomorrow

But for today I promised a before and after photo of Max

Wednesday cooking and last day of Edmonton Regionals

hello everyone

It's Wednesday and it's another day full day

I just hope that this head of mine will last all day :-(

here's it hoping right? lol

okay I want to share something I made last week

I will have a recipe soon

I am going to be getting a new laptop soon and I think I'll download my Mds on there

for now though let me just share a fabulous idea that I got from

Wanda and George

(did I mention I need a new Wanda starting In January I am so sad - who would like be my Wanda in the office???)

the recipe is  called

Sage Butter Ravioli

(the Ravioli I got from the Italian store - love that place it's butternut squash ravioli)

then I cooked some shrimp in butter seasoning and garlic

boiled the ravioli

and made the sage butter sauce

not enough for 4 of us though lol

I would have to double this next time

and if Tyler and Evan were home

I would have to triple it as least lol

Thursday Recipe Day "No Bake Pineapple Dessert"

Good day y'all

love my southern accent this morning?

it's for my southern friends that I made thru my blog - they inspire me to speak some southern he he

so today it's Recipe day

even if it's not Wed.

I kinda mentioned that it was looking like a crazy busy week right?

oh yes well it's crazy all right

and yes very very busy

all good - for sure no complaints

BUT it's alot - and as my mom would say

this is  spin off of a classic that my mom used to make

it was my dad's most favorite dessert- ouh and my dad loved desserts- well we are French after all lol

oh yes it's recipe that I created on My Digital Studio!

good day friends

I am really not sure how Wed. got here so fast!???

so after all my modem and dlink box issues last week

I was blessed with more issues yesterday

oh my.....................

deep breath BUT I managed to fix THE ISSUES

 oh wait did I mention 4 hours on  the phone with support tech

oh yes fun stuff uh?

but all office computers are back up and are also talking to each other

and they are printing

yhippy it's a small victory for me!

so today will be a perfect day - he he nothing will go wrong

it will be perfect

I am setting it in stone LOL

onto a recipe

okay I took sometime yesterday evening before picking up my chickie from the airport

to create this

 
this is a wonderful waffle recipe

my family really enjoys it and I like to make it Sundays if I don't have a class

I also usually double the recipe as they freeze really well and they taste

so much better then the frozen store bought  ones!

sorry but I got to go to work

I had a late nigth and could not get up at my usual 2:30am

so 3:45 it was but I did not get any sleep before midnight

my grandma used to say that sleep before midnight was worth double the hours

she knew this stuff you see she was  a school teacher

ahw makes me smile thinking about her

her birthday was july 7th and she was born in 1918

so I always thought of her as being so very wise

oh my again too much blah blah sorry folks

good day my friends

it's a nice Wed here in Alberta!

all though I wish I was in Salt Lake City with my two buddies

Lee and Sandi - but you know how it goes

it's my little baby girls 18th Birthday tomorrow and I certainly cannot miss that

anyways so I am not at  Stampin Up! convention today

but I am here hard at work and ready to have a little mixed bag of a post

for you today

so first I have a recipe

it's Wanda's recipe and these cookies are fabulous

I did not have a chance to put into my MDS

but I decorated it a little in my graphic design program

so it's a Thursday and I am posting a recipe

How messed up is my week uh?

sorry friends but - do know that I am trying really hard

Would you beleive I still can't do my post on my computer at work

so I am using Renee's computer yet again this morning

it's a pain as I have to email all my photos over to her and then I can start my post

all the while that I am cutting decals for our day at work

anyways I created a really wonderful recipe on

My Digital Studio program this morning

This is my very favorite cookie recipe

it's no fail and so easy and the key ingredient is the cornstarch

after our walk Max was so tired that he slept for hours

poor Goldie had to stay home - she is doing okay with her new medication - her knee is a bit better - still not great but she does not seem uphappy at all

we will continue to monitor her and see how she does

she is going back to the doctor for a check up on Monday and they will renew the medication and see how she is doing

poor old girl it's going to be a sad day when we say good bye to her

although she was stray that just wondered off the road one day almost 8 years ago - she has been such a wonderful pet and I know that Evan will be heart broken as he claimed her rigth from the get go

and our Max will be super sad

deep breath it will all be okay right??

all  right I will give you some nice news

Renee is doing fabulous at college and loving every minute of it

Rex and I are just so proud of our beautiful bright daughter

a week from today our baby girl will be 18 years old whow I am really not sure where the years have gone

it seems like it was just yesterday when I was getting excited for our baby to be born
