I want to appologize for yesterday missing post
I am sorry something happened and it did not publish my post - I am sure it was all my fault or the internet lol - none the less I did not have this card posted yesterday
so I guess we will be missing a recipe this week

I want to share a beautiful flower that is
MY YARD
okay so if any of you know me at all YOU know that
gardening is not my thing - lol
I can do lot's of things -
but gardening and singing well NOT SO MUCH
but thanks to Wanda and Liane(who used to work for me)
they managed to make a nice little flower garden at the office
so take a look a this beauty!

onto the card I have for you!
so here's a fun cool idea that I tried with the new embossing folders
The two folders I used on this card are called
The Houndstooth
and the Stripes
both on page 218
all right let me show you what I did
I used the stamp called The open sea
first I punched out a circle with my circle punch
cardstock used very vanilla
I then cut a circle with my wonderful circle cutter in black cardstock
then I stamped the ship
oh - this card is kinda the male version of my class cards from Monday
I look forward to my class on Sunday it's been a while since those girls
have been to a class and I kinda think we all missed each other - just saying lol
ouh look what I did here
I stamped the background cardstock which is very vanilla
with the bigger stamp in this set
I coloured the stamp with Cherry Cobbler and I then went over some areas to get some the basic gray look!
kinda cool uh?
then I did my double embossing on my metal sheet
I also sponged the metal sheet
and here is what It looks like all put together
I used a black satin ribbon and a cherry cobbler seam binder
I did not do a bow on this card
cause it's a man card right?
lol
I want to show you up close at the background
and the double embossing that I did on this card
you can see how cool the metal sheet looks
and the background how it's not just cherry cobbler
and can YOU beleive that I did not colour the ship??
CRAZY lol

we missed out last week on the Staff lunch
you see it's hard with her in college
so this morning before she leaves for college
the girls and I will put together a little staff Brunch
should be fun uh?
after the weekend work that I did for Rex's company
I finally got to do some of my work yesterday
ahw it feels so good - so needed to get some decals cut
ouh and on Monday we also received a new funky tool in the office
I'll have show that to you soon
it's fun to use and will save us alot of time
all right well even this is not a Wed Recipe day hope you still enjoyed my post
