good day y'all!
I am going to share a different take on a sympathy card
and it's kinda going to be a double whammy for you!
so it's kinda like a man sympathy
and I made a birthday card out of the same DSP and design
how's that for different
oh yes I know I am different uh? lol
all right so let me explain what I needed a sympathy card for
a fellow by the name of George has been my Decals and Signs Equipment
support/sales rep since 1993
his father started the company years ago - and George and his Brother took over the company
well sadly George dad passed away recently
so I wanted to create a unique card for him and his family
I created it on behalf of my company
so let me show you what I did
so I started with spice cake DSP
my first layer here is very vanilla and then put the DSP at an angle
I punched a nice border
cardstock for that border is soft suede
and a few more pieces of DSP
I really love this DSP
the colours are just so fabulous
This DSP is from the Stampin Up Holiday Mini catalogue
now for a greeting for the front
I used the stamp set called
Petite Pairs
I added some Early Espresso Cardstock to my card as well
I used a taffeta ribbon (soft suede)
and then I marked an area for the brads and
finished the front and worked on the inside
and then I stamped the greeting from my new stamp set called
Love & Sympathy
and added a little corner piece of DSP
voila my sympathy card that I made for George
up close at the ribbong and three brads
all rigth one nore photo for y'all
hope you enjoyed this card
it's always hard to make a sympathy card
and even harder for a man
but I like it
anyways friends got to run
hope you have a GREAT day
until tomorrow I am wishing you all a Terrifik Tuesday
embossed hug from me
