Hello my friends

It's Saturday Morning I am sorry to report that I do not have my tutorial ready for you!

so here is the situation!

I have worked on card since 3:00am and I just could not make this one work well enough

I did it in the end, but having said that I just won't be able to have time to post the tutorial on it, as my Renee has a cheer competition today!

Therefore, I do not want to let you down, so I am going to share my card with you and as promised a photo of Max - cause he is all groomed up and he sure looks handsome

I do appologize I sure don't mean to let any of you down,

however even if tomorrow is Sunday and it's suppose to be a non post day I promise to post my tutorial for y'all!

ouh and on this card I also did the Black Magic technique
okay well the BROWN Magic Technique lol

I used two sketches this morning the

Color dare

& The OCC Sketch

 

so here we go

 

I used water crayons, water pencils. the mettalic pencils, an aqua painter and shimmer paint!

this is the card open

up close at the colouring and the cute little brads

the Certainly Celery Satin Ribbon 

so pretty - I put an eyelet!

okay so I have to run now

he was doing a little back dance for me

Greenhouse Gardens with Kind and Caring

Good Thursday morning to y'all!

So on this fine day!

I worked hard to making this card...............

and when you see you will say

What??? Looks easy! he he

okay well it took me forever to get my Mojo Flow going!

Sooooooooo yhap!!!!

here we go

what I did was use 3 challenges into 1

the first is the Who's the boss Late Night Stampers- I embossed and Debossed!

Fun!

then I used a new colour challenge called

Colour Q

 

Then I used Card Patterns sketch

 

Colours were decided for me

that was not the problem

but I was thinking hearts at first and well.............

yha that didn't work so well lol

I started this last night and maybe that was a bad idea he he :)

like I said thinking hearts when I started

I used this die to go thru the

BIG SHOT

I debossed the heart 

which did look cool buuuuuutttttt......................

I like the heart

 
okay so I am not happy with this at all

soooooooooo yhap I am restarting all over

I started with two stamp sets

Stampin Up

Greenhouse Garden

&

Kind & Caring Thoughts (this is a level 3 hostess set I - and I really love all the greeting in it)

so I pulled some pretty Shimmery White card stock

and my Oval dies

it's cool cause these dies are so awesome from Stampin Up

Because it will cut two layers super easy

now for some card layers

coming together

I dabbed the Blush Blossom in the middle and the edge I did in the Regal Rose

then I stamped

okay so this is called two step stamping

I know most of you are PROS who's been at this game for a while hehe

but you know still want to include those that are just starting

so the first step is to stamp the base of the flower 

now I will use Close to Cocoa to over stamp

pretty cool uh?

now for a greeting which I embossed with Chocolate Chip Craft ink and Clear Embossing

yha well that was not so good

I am going to do the bigger oval

so I was way way smarter this time he he

I stamped the greeting

FIRST

There we go!

I debossed two pieces of card

then I thought to really kinda make it Victorian I should punch a fancy edge

pretty uh??

now for some Ribbon

I have not used it very much and it's so pretty

ouh and I pulled out some flowers from my pretties kit

now these one I had died a long time ago with water and reinkers

but I decided it did not match well enough sooooooooooooo

Shimmer paint here I come he he :)

oh but I had a Rosa MOMENT
oh yha some of you have missed what that means..................

soooooooooo................. okay here's what that means

my dad's mother - which would of been my Grandmother, was super duper clutzy - my mom used to tell me that this lady went thru more dishes then anyone she ever seen, cause she would always break everything............. Like her I am fast and NOT agile...............

so whenever I would do something clutzy my family would call me Rosa, and well it has stuck with my little family, my husband, Rex, Son, Evan and Daughter Renee, all call me Rosa if I trip or break, or do something really clutzy............ having said that............ I have several Rosa moments LOL
and yhap had one this morning and you know I was trying so hard to be real careful................

yhap I spilled................ poured way way too much in the lid too ghuhr

anyways I am going to dab this little mix onto my flowers

it turned out more of vivid of colour I used the Close to Cocoa

that's coming along I think I am ready to assemble

The brown ribbon is from the Master Piece Ribbon!

the little pearls are also from the pretties kit

and well there we have it

goodness it took me so long to get to this and really silly cause it should not be that hard of card right???

Kind & Caring thoughts

whow is this  Stampe set "Kind & Caring Thoughts" appropriate for this morning

okay so I am sorry this is going to be a very quick post this morning - sorry

here is the situation - video is still in production and it going to be late - here's the reason.

My Renee (my 16 year old daughter) may have appendicitis, I have to take her back to emergency for an Ultrasound at 8:00am this morning. The emergency doctor is not 100% positive at his point if its appendicitis.  They have advised her not to eat or drink anything. So I will be taking her back in at 8:00am. Never a dull moment in my life.  I am really worried about her, and pray that she will be okay. Therefore I only have a quick card that I had done last night to share with you.

Sorry no instructions or details on this post. I will try tonight to post my video, really depending on my Renee, and if they have to do surgery or not. For now she is resting right now at home until I take her back. (can you tell I can't sleep when I am worried?)

Okay so I did the Colour Throwdown challenge.

oh my I have to tell you that when I seen this challenge I thought of my goodness I will never be able to do anything with these colours.  But you know what, this is the part of challenges that I totally appreciate. So it actually is okay, well I think anyways.  This technique is actually the technique that I am doing tomorrow for my swap(I guess providing that I have my baby girl at home :( ) So I don't want to discocle too much....... I will share all the wonderful cards on Monday with y'all! That will so fun. (oh but my swap card, is not this colour, and I am making it into an easel card)

LNS Challenge #42 my second card

hi everyone, can you believe I am doing a second post!? goodness!

Because I have been chosen to be part of the  new design team for the Late night Stampers group, I am making another card for the Challenge #42 which is a colour challenge.  Want to see what I created? lelet me tell you, that I think that I create way better in the mornings! yhikes.

here's how things went..................

ouh I almost fergot, I even added another chalenge in there! I decided to do the Stamping 411 challenge as well............ Just in the nick of time too!

now that the challenges are chosen here's what I did.

I decided since I could not find any patterened paper that was ruby red, that I would created with one. oh yes you guessed, my good bride paper stand by, and then I rounded all the corner. 

then I stamped with the Kind and Caring Thoughts stamps - well lets say I tried to stamp LOL

as you can tell I was having a hard time to stamp this image the way I had planned in my head lol

well here we go?

even if it was an evening card!!! What do you think?

The colours I found harder on the secong go around!
