In Wilderness Card is complete and finishing the masculine week

Good day

whow it's Saturday holly - whered the week go?

today is also my Uncle Marce's birthday

so Uncle Marce here's to you having a super fabulous day!

all right where'd we leave off on this card????

oh right okay so I punched out the image that we played with

you know the one we used the stamp-a-ma-jig on

I also create a nice frame

colour here is Marine Mist

then I punche a black oval

and cut it

looking nice uh?

now doing some layers

looking good

details needed now

I love using satin ribbon

created a beautiful bow and chose a greeting from petite pair

after I stamped the greeting I used

the oval punch

size: 3/4'' x 15/16''

I punched the greeting - one piece of the marine mist and one basic black

cut them apart

the layers are nice uh?

now to assemble

when I have framed image like this

I like to pop it up with dimentionals

now for a few last little details

here is the final look to my card

sooooooooooo the news is

I will continue with the masculine cards

next week though I will do simple masculine cards

by taking a card from the Idea Book or mini catalogue and

making it Carole'Anne Style

In the Wilderness masculine week continues

Hope you did not mind my family share from yesterday!

yes I am a little proud of my family and always feel so blessed when we get to have dinner together

so today I have one more card to share with you

this one is still on the masculine theme

It's a card I created with the set called In Wilderness

ready

same technique used as I did on Monday's card

now this image is very detailed so I used the stamp-a-ma-jig

Janet this is for you

step one

line up the tool the the left of the imaging sheet

Step two

hug the edge of the Stamp-a-ma-jig with your stamp

and stamp on the imaging sheet

Step Three

line up your imaging shee over the stamped and coloured image

Step Four

gently align the stamp-a-ma-jig

just like in step one

(try to not move your imaging sheet - if does reposition it to make sure it's aligned correctly over your coloured image)

Step Five

hold the Stamp-A-ma-jig firmly

and remove the imaging sheet

almost ready to stamp

load your stamp with ink (I used black staz on)

still holding the Stamp-A-ma-jig

bring your stamp to the edge of tool(huging it well) and firmly stamp

voila you have used the Stamp-A-ma-jig successfully

I like to use it for overstampin like in this image

that way the image becomes a little brighter

we had 4 dogs at our house the past weekend

Woody's little Rambo spent the weekend at our house

and Charlie was a big tease

In Wilderness for my nephews birthday

I played with my stamp set called "In Wilderness" (it was my first crack at this one)

I had a lot of fun trying to create a nice manly card for my nephew Tyler!

 
I also took out one of my old favorites

"lovely as a tree"

 
I took out 4 Greens

I started with river rock

 
then I moved onto certainly celery - wild wasabi and finally garden green

 
then I took a sticky note sheet and I tore it a little

I applied it to the bottom and sponged to make it look like a little hill

 

then I used the spruce trees to stamp

the trees - I applied Staz On Black ink for them

 
I stamped the buffalo with Early Espresso and chalked in some colour!

 
then I attempted to create a frame

well my first try was not so good he he

 
I did not like it

so redid it!

 
I used Early Espresso and made the frame thicker

oh but wait I am not done yet lol

 
ouh Carey looky

ouh yes much better - don't you think?

 
now for some deep thinking lol

 
I used a ton of dimentionals he he

 
hum? I need a greeting and to decide on the those layers

 
my little greeting that says happy birthday

I also sponged the edges of it

 
now for a little layer to my greeting

 
added a few little brads - from the trinkets

 
I used some mini glue dots

I got thru a least a roll of these every two weeks

funny uh? - I just love using these they are nice a fast and super sticky

okay so after I made my country side card yesterday I decided to put an overlay on this card too

 
so I stamped the buffalo on the window sheet with black staz on

 
took off the frame

 
I used the wonderful Stampin Up Eraser to take off all the residue of the dimentionals

these little erasers are fabulous and they are so cheap!

 
here now I am ready to re-essemble the card he he

 
there we have it

so which one do you like best

I kind think the buffallo stands out more on this??
