Goooooooooooooood Morning!
It's Friday and in a couple of days, Renee and I will be leaving Canada for Greece!
Not that I am organized, but that's part of living on the edge he he ;) I always manage to pull it off!
soooooooooooooo What did I do this fine cold snowy morning!
let me start by saying that I got play in my craft room last night, which brings my Renee into the picture for help with my lay out, she is sooooooo good at this, I think deep down inside she likes it too LOL :)
My first goal was to use Krista's BRAND new Colour Challenge: it's called
Cards & Things Challenge!
my second thought was to do Gretchen Weekend Sketch
so now that I have that established...............
here's what went on, first last night, and then finished off this morning, at 3:00am ofcourse lol
so for a little story as to why I chose to do this card.
First of all I am not super duper good at making GUY cards...........
however, since I really wanted to make a card for my computer guy that helped me so much this week, with all the tragic events of with the illness of my work computer (pretty stressful, cause that computer is the source of my income).............
Having said that, I needed to make a GUY card!
soooooooo this is how this card came about!
this stamp set is called "Hit the road"
I had a blast colouring the "Willys" Jeep ( I am calling it a Willys' Jeep, cause my husband has a old army Jeep and it's called a Willy's Jeep)
ouh yes...... These cordoroy buttons are PERFECT!
Actually you know this colour combination is real nice, you see this is the very best part of doing these challenges, cause let's face it, I would of never tried these colours on my own!
love these challenges........... I am having so much fun, the designers are so awesome don't you think?
did s'more colouring, cause ya know I hate colouring LOL just kidding, because this is my favorite thing to do to a card. Colouring with all mediums, from crayons, to makers and blend it all up with a blender pen!
