Greeting kids for the stamp-a-holics sketch challenge

It's Friday you know that means a challenge from the Stamp-a-holics

we have a really nice sketch for you today!

cool beans uh?

so I decided that Greeting Kids would work well with this sketch

I also used the new DSP that will be available in the

New Stampin Up Mini

Called First Edition

 
so took my stamp my DSP and off I went

set my timer for 15 min

 
I used black staz on and stamped my image on watercolour cardstock

 
then I used the 2 1/2'' punch

 
then I used my new die to cut the matt

 
okay this is coming along very nicely

now I will colour my little girl with watercolour crayons

 
all coloured

I never did end up using the pencils only the crayons

I love MY NEW Stampin Up Crayons

I also added smooch and look at the time

 
ghuhr I sponged and made a mess

no time to fix it now

 
voila I am done

 
the buttons and the DSP

I used glue dots to make it really quick

 
my beautiful bow thanks to Lee's Bow maker he he

 
there we have it my friends

my 15 min cards done in 14 min 22 seconds

yhahoooooo

I would of fixed my smudge if I could of

but that is okay he he

Greeting Kid Cards Final Card- watercolouring

Today brings the last card in my set of three using Greeting Kid Cards Stamp set!

well are you all ready to see what I did yesterday - sorry I did not post!

It was a super duper busy weekend filled with lot's of events!

soooooooooooooooooo I took out the watercolouring Crayons to do this last card

 
I used an aquapainter to load up colour

 
so you take your aquapainter and you go directly to your crayon

load up your colour then

 
and start colouring

now you want to start where you darkest areas will be like a shade area - and work yourself out to make it look like it's less colour

 
now for some shimmer

I used champage mist

 

now for some beautiful DSP

The carstock I used for the base is Baja Breeze

Greeding kid Cards continued watercolouring technique

I am back with more Watercolouring the Greeding Kid Cards!

today I am working on the watercolouring technique with the stamp pad!

I know fun!

We will use both the aquapainter and the blender pens!

okay let's get started!

 

so as you can see I took out three Classic stamp pad

Cherry Cobbler

Old Olive

& Chocolate Chip

 
 load your aquapainter with the ink from the stamp pad

 
now go ahead and start colouring

using the same concept as yesterday - start where you want it to be the darkest

 
I usaed a little bit of shimmer in the white areas!

so pretty

 

then I did the same in the bottom area to make it a little shimmery to look like snow

 
a little border

at first I used shimmer white in my embossing folder and realized that I had to go to very vanilla!

 
I used the new sticky sheets and apply it to the a piece of very vanilla card stock

then I ran it thru the Big Shot with the New SnowFlake Die

 
voila

if you make sure to put the cardstock down

it will only cut thru the cardstock and the stickyness

the backing will stay put

 
now the fun stuff

on the sticky side I put the dazzling diamond glitter

 
arent they so pretty!

 

 

I added a brad just like the one on the halloween card

I used the Cherry cobbler Seam Binding

that is NOW available in the

Stampin Up Holiday Mini Cataloque!

 
I used one the pretty glitter brads

also in the New Mini!

I love that it matches so beautifully!

 
and voila my card

I added 6 pearls as well

Greeting Card Kids! my first ever halloween card

Stampin Up Halloween style with Greeting card kids!

Good day! It's Tuesday all ready!

whow! Sooooo remember I said I was going to have something really special this week!

okay well this is going be part 1 of a 3 part series on watercolouring

I always get lot's of question on how I watercolour - so this is your lucky week he  he

I am going to be doing three cards with the Greeting Cards Kids stamp set

I will be colouring each of the in different way to show you what we can do with watercolouring

the first one I did was a Halloween card - would you beleive I have never ever made one of these before!

I know crazy uh?

okay let me show you what I started with okay?

 

So I took out my stamp set - Stampin Up of course LOL
I also have my watercolouring pencils

watercolouring card stock

my blender pen and aquablender as well

 
so I stamped my three images with Black Staz On

I will work on the little pumpkin one!

 
when I use pencils I deposit colour only

what I mean by this is that I don't colour all the area

I deposit the colour in the area that I want it to be the darkest like above then

 
Then I take my blender pen and I start with the darkest area and work my way out

like this

 
I continue with the rest of the colours in the same way

 
now for the bottom fade area I use my stamp pad instead of the pencils

I also use my aquapainter

so I load up my aqua painter by rubbing the tip into the stamp pad

 
then I added some grass with my blender pen

what I did is run my blender pen across my ink pad to load my pen

and then created the grass

 

now for a cool fold

I will show you tomorrow how I did the fold

(yes that means no recipe)

 
I used Mr. Big Shot - for you Carey HE HE

 
okay looking good

I like this DSP

The colour I am using are

Old olive

Basic Black

Pumpkin Pie

 
I added some beautiful taffeta pumpkin pie ribbon and brad

I love it!

now for some bling and I am almost done!
