Stampaholics Colour Challenge day!

I am happy that it's Friday but I think I need another day of work he he

okay so I played with a really nice colour challenge today!

I cut cardstock to match the colour challenge

and then I punched out he he

 
after I stamped I   quickly coloured the roses and then I cut it tighter

so I could layer the image really nicely!

 
I stamped the words thank you

and sponged super quickly lol

 
a little bow with

Lee's Magic bow maker hehe

 
almsot done look at the time

just going hard!

 
assembled and added pearls and voila

 
so this is my 15 min card

I promise this weekend will be the weekend for the tutorial

I will spend Saturday finishing the tutorial after I am off work

if all goes well I should be at work by 4 am and be done my 9am

and into my craft room for the a few hours to do the tutorial!

Stampaholics inspirationals challenge with Four Frames

 
 
hello It's Friday!

whow what a week it has been around home and the office - I am not even sure it feels like a Friday really??

But I will take it he he

it will be a busy weekend with Classes on Saturday and Sunday

it will be fun cause I am teaching a double slider gift card box that I invented

I think the girls and Darrell will like it??

okay so my friends today I have a really neat inspirational challenge from the Stampaholics

it's a great one

aren't the colours beautiful

so want to see what I did with it?

 
the first step was too look and see which colours would match best and with that I

grabbed my colour coach (Great tool)

 
so I decided on using the new DSP

some layers were added

 
I stamped the little frame from

Four Frame Stamp set (it will be in the summer mini)

with Black Staz On then I punch it out

 
now for a few more layers

 
I used some taffeta ribbon on the back of my center piece

 
not looking too bad right?

 
I used my blender pen and ink pads to colour the flowers in my frame

 
looking good

played with the frame layers for a bit

 
I used some seam binding with Lee's bow maker

and I created a pretty little bow

 
final details with some pretty little brads

 
just about done

and I decided after I was done that I would step it up

 
I did added crystal effects - which took me over my 30 seconds

I know my bad lol

 
this is my first version of this card

now like I said this is a 15 min card right?

so then I decided okay I can dress it up after the time is up

right??

okay now let's see what I did after this

 
took out pearls and some satin roses

 
the problem was that the roses were very vanilly

cardstock I used was confetti white

so I sponged with rich razzleberry

 
then I sprayed with alcohol shimmer spray

 
cute uh?

I used the tombo glue to adhere my flowers

 
voila my stepped up version!

hope you like it!

I added some leaves to the flowers as well

they turned out pretty uh?

okay so one last photo for you today and that will be the end of my posts for the week

have no clue what we will do next week?
