Fast & Furious crayon resist - not quite!

good day it's Tuesday morning in Alberta Canada and I played with an old technique called Crayon resist!

well that did not work out so well lol

oh well I will try again

before I get to that I just want to report a little bit about Alberta Cheer Empire's weekend competition in Saskatoon

oh and tomorrow I will share photos on my blog sorry haven't had a chance yet - but tomorrow will be the day

on Saturday all 7 teams that represented ACE won 1st place

isn't that wonderful

Congratulation ACE team and Kim - way to go girl!

all right so onto my failed attempt at Crayon resist

 
took out the stamp set called

Fast and Furious from Stampin Up

then I cut up some new DSP

it's called

Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper

 
then after that I stamped

 
I coloured

 
then attempted to do crayon resist

okay let's just say with water colour crayons - not so much of a success lol

 
I sponged the background

I used always artichoke and soft suede

it doesn't look bad - but it's not what it's suppose to be you know??

I will try to make a success you will see this again sometime in the next few days!

I also did a few highlights with my white Stampin Up gel pen

voila my non crayon resist technique lol

you see the white crayon should of made white areas

I promise to try again my friends

it maybe Saturday by that time - but oh well lol

tomorrow will be Saskatoon photos

and Thursday - recipe day

and so that brings me to Saturday

it will be a busy weekend again -

I get to hold Classes both on Saturday and Sunday and Monday my mom has her workshop in a box - phew crazy

did some layers

I used the same colours I have been using all week

I thought this card would add a nice touch to my other two cards that I did

I will have one more card to share with you tomorrow that I CASED from the

Stampin Up Idea Book

 
I did some quick math to make the 3 panels and voila how ealy

I love this DSP so pretty

 
HINT

I almost create a mask and store in my case (so this one I had done a long time ago and it was inside my stamp case waiting for me to use him lol)

so I stamped

 
now look at the time I am rocking this out my friends he he

I am going to cut this really really fast he he

now to put this card together and see how much time I have left to detail it

Fast & Furious along with Stampin 411 sketch

I haven't done the Stampin 411 sketch in so long, so I decided to join in and play with some colouring!

I did still emboss don't worry didn't forget about my theme!

okay let's start

 

I had not used this stamp much - so I went with it!

 
so here is my stamp Fast & Furious

I embossed the image with Black Craft Ink

 
it's stamped

let's emboss this now

 
with clear embossing powder

 
and then I coloured and added some smooch

 
I chose the DSP

 
then I chose the Cardstock and coloured my ribbon

I use Black Lace as well

I had to use Lee's wonderful bow maker cause it makes the best bows!

 
took 6 brads - black

 
voila here is my card
