Day two of the Fabulous Florets Sympathy Card

Good day from me to you

What a great long weekend it has been thus far!

I have had a lot of time to do all the things that I dear to me

like spend time with my family

baking

cardmaking

cooking

yoga 

whow whatelse can I ask for right

life is good I am so very very blessed

today is the continuation of the sympathy card that I sneaked peaked you yesterday

ready to see how it turned out?

debated on the colours a bit

made the decision to go with Early Espresso pool party and the base of the card is the shimmery white cardstock

ouh love pearls

and I also added the greeting

I used the stamp set called

TEENY TINY WISHES

MY FAV for greetings

it has it all

I added the beautiful tulle ribbon

this is the early espresso colour

don't you just love it

voila my sympathy card

always difficult to create but I am really pleased with this one and I think that Lee will also love it

so tomorrow I will not be posting (sorry I'll be on the run a good part of the day and will sadly have no time to spend in my craft room)

I will post a recipe on a Thursday instead of Wednesday

the recipe I think I will share will be a chocolate Zuchini Cake

I grated chocolate chips for the top

and made a cream cheese icing

yes this was more baking I did 

ouh if you only knew how much I love having an oven

how happy I am wooooopppp wooooooppp hehe

oh I want to share one more photo with you

these are so cute

they are delicious

fun to make as well

and they look fancy he he

okay I have to finish this friends

I am running into the city I am doing business today I know it's a holiday 

but when you are self employed that means nothing he he

but you know that I love it I love my job and so savor all of the wonderful custmers and my girls at work

a lot going on today on Stampin Stressaway Blog Post!

Whow good morning y'all

Hope this Fine Sunday brings you a nice peaceful day

today on my blog I have a lot going on and so this will be a two day post for this one sorry 

he he

first I wanted share that this post marks my 900th blog post

whow what have I shared in 900 post???

It is really dear to me to hear from you all and to have made some incredible friendship do to my blog

I will be happy a huge even the week that my blog posts near 1000!

so you just keep looking in and see where the counter is at okay??

the other share today is my parents

as most of you know my Dad passed away in 2001

he had a very rare disease and suffort so many years in the end of his life

I am blessed that he was an amazing man

and yesterday that amazing man had married my wonderful dear Mom

they were married yesterday in Eastern Canada in 1962

that would marked their 50th anniversary

I just could not let the day go by without reflecting on this special day

I look at them photos I see so much in their eyes

I am so thankful to have been brought up by these two amazing people

so mom and Dad (up in Heaven) happy anniversary from yesterday

this is such a beautiful photo

they are look so breathtaking dont you think??

I had to share these with you!!!

now let me share a card that I started making yesterday

it's my friend Lee it's getting to her late - my bad

but I guess better late then never right??

the stamp set I chose for this sympathy card was

FABULOUS FLORETS

my cardstock here in the photo is shimmery white

then I stamped the flower/leaf image with soft suede

I did stamp off on some of the images as you can see in the above photo

then I used my ink pad and shimmer paint with my aquapainter

and I coloured a few flowers(using the Pool Party ink colour)

I cut them out to assemble on my card base

all done with shimmery cardstock

then I layered and played with the position of the flowers

can you see where I am going with this friends

the reveal of this card will be tomorrow

I know I am sorry

but I had to share the zuchini muffins that I made 

ouh yes I had a very very productive Saturday

can you tell at all?? LOL

I added chocolate chips and there is also pineapple in them

do you think this would be a good recipe for Wednesday???

just a thought uh???

Fabulous Florets continued

 
Good day to y'all I hope you are having a fabulous Tuesday!

I am having a busy week all ready - but you all know by now that I totally LOVE busy

keep it coming I am happy girl - and super appreciative!

so first I need to wish my special nephew a very happy birthday

so Scott here's to you have an amazing birthday

you should come and visit us soon :-)

so onto the Fabulous Florets Stamp set that will be available May 1st in the

Stampin Up Summer Mini Catalogue!

I played with a colour that I have used maybe once before

funny uh?

 
I stamped on shimmery cardstock to start with

the flowers I did with black staz on

and the stems with wild wasabi ink

 
then I took out my chalks and took the colour coach out

and came up with the colour I don't use much he he

it's cajun craze!

 
I chalked the cajun craze and a bit of yellow daffodil

 
I cut out the flowers and put them on the green stems

started to build some layers there after

did you know I love layers LOL
 
did a bit of sponging on the edge of the two flowers and did a few more layers

 
then I did a greeting

and I coloured a satin ribbon with my stampin write marker

cajun crazy

 
then did alot of dimentionals

I love to add thinkness to my cards

they look more substancial

 
then I used glue dots to put my flowers down on the base

 
almost ready for the last step

my ribbon is on

just need a bit of bling bling and I be DONE

 
when I colour ribbon and I have alot of thickness to the card

I always adhere my last layer with sticky strip

it just holds way better

its good and strong this way

 
and voila

oh and I changed the greeting too lol

 
the flowers up close and the bling

one last photo and that will be the end of my post for today

Fabulous Florets From the New Stampin Up Summer Mini

Good day - I want to share some cards that I created with a new set called

"Fabulous Florets"

Which will become available the 1st of May in the NEW

Stampin Up Summer Mini Catalogue!

I created 3 very very different cards with this set

I will share all three over the next week!

I guess that could be my theme this week lol

 
so I thought I would play with some inks this time around

oh and a baby wipe he he

 
I put my stamp into the ink/baby wipe

 
then I stamped onto a piece of shimmery card stock

pretty uh?

 
then was in deep thougth on the lay out of this card

 
then I changed my mind on the colours

I know I am so good at that lol

went with Cherry cobbler instead!

 

then I created a greeting a I did a double coloured bow

 
then I changed my mind again

no really I did lol

 
and voila after all that this is my card

 
there we have it
