Good day yall

yes it's me really CAROLE'ANNE he he - I know

it's been a few days since I have had a chance to post for you all

but maybe the blog candy photo will help you forgive me

I have decided to extend the entry time till Friday since I was unable to post the last three day

I am so sorry about that!

We are having an amazing week at Mirror Image Decals & Signs

ever said how very blessed and grateful I am for my business

I am equally grateful for my super duper wonderful staff!

what a team I have

to top off the business of my company 

I am in the middle of picking everything out for the RENO's happening in the house

the new sinks - the new faucets - the new shower - the new tiles

have been picked

now fixtures and mirrors

and paint colour and we will be making waves lol

I am meeting with my reno contractor tonight and the painter Saturday

just gonna over all the schedules 

then at the land the boys are bailing so it's just been really busy

ouh and yes had an amazing fun time Sunday with the ladies that came to my Card Buffet

not a huge turn out but you know what it was still a really nice Sunday

I made some fun food and one the sweet ladies came with some very yhummy cookies and tarts

so all and all crazy

all right how would you like to see what I did create over the weekend

back to my card sorry about that

I used a different colour then I am used to 

but really fun to step outside my comfort zone a tad hey?

so the Green

is GARDENT GREEN

along with Basic Black and Very vanilla

DSP is Newsprint

then I stamped the background with Crump Cake

I also did some sponging

then I stamped the flowers from the stamp set called

EVERYTHING ELEANOR

I stamped with the garden green as well as the crump cake

I stamped onto the newsprint DSP

cool don't you think

then I layered and played around to make it look more as though it was a real flower

verses just a flat look

a pretty I created with the beloved toulle

oh boy I love that ribbon

then a few pearls and

add the base layers and voila

I think the little flower turned out okay

Everything Eleanor Thank you Card with Core'dinations card stock

Goooooddddd Morning

it's a quiet Saturday morning at my home 

it's a long weekend and I am enjoying the quiet stillness of the morning 

yhahooooo

I am really going to savor this time

first here in my craft room 

still on the thank you card missions

been playing in here since 2:45 am (slept an extra 45 min lol)

then at 8:30am I will be in my 90 min hot flow yoga class

yhippy(then do the mom duties - groceries - errands - and then come home and finish house duties)

Yesterday was a nice day - work was very quiet which was good since I was the only one in the office

he he

then I had a milkshake date with my two boys

it was nice to just sit and enjoy my time with Evan and Tyler sigh

I made supper in my OVEN that got fixed

oh wait -  wait....... wait................. for it.............

after I took supper out I was trying to reset the clock and realized that the display panel was overheating

it was so hot I could barely touch it (the oven was off by then)

sigh

so I shut off the breaker and made a call but they were closed

so the oven saga continues....................... 

tear!!!!!

but I still had an amazing day along with nice evening 

so all's good

now let me share another thank you card I created

while I am typing this I am working on the

CHRISTMAS CARD BUFFET CLASS designs 

woop woop FFFUUUUUNNNNN!!!!

okay so let's start with what I did with the fabulous Core'dinations cardstock

embossed(used the Early Espresso colour cardstock here)

then sanded

&  sponged (with Cherry Cobbler)

some stampin and colouring 

I used the stamp set called

EVERYTHING ELEANOR

I stamped with black staz on

I coloured the flowers with my aqua painter using the stamp pad

CHERRY COBBLER

choosing a pretty greeting

hum I don't think it shows up good enough on the background

so I restamped it and cut around it I used Very Vanilla Cardstock

the size of the card ended up being 

4 1/2'' X 4 1/2''

the layers are 1/4'' around smaller

pretty bow created with Miss Lee's bow maker 

and the fabulous new

CHERRY BOBBLER 3 1/2''

SCALLOPED TULLE RIBBON

so very very nice to work with

almost done

ready to see how the card turned out?

voila another thank you card completed yahhoooo

Evrything Eleanor & Blooming with Kindness Hand Stamped Sentiments card

Good day it's Monday 

a start to a new week

sorry for not posting Friday and the weekend

it was quite the Friday and I just could not squeeze in a post

I am truly sorry friends

I am happy to report that the weekend did bring me much needed down time

well what I call down time anyways lol

Saturday started at 2:00am in my craft room and I loved that

it was such a beautiful rainy morning how perfect for card making

then I made fish chowder - did the usual stuff

like laundry a bit of house cleaning

and I made homemade granola bars (all before 9:00am lol)

I'll share that recipe on Wednesday they are fabulous

then Kayla and I went to hot yoga

we started doing hot yoga a few weeks ago as part of our health and welness program at work

it's fabulous and we are all enjoying

got home and did the rest of the house cleaning and made cantoloni

they were so yhummy

during all of this our office was geting air contioning installed so was alot of back and fort

did do some work

Sunday morning started with a bit more time in my craft

then Hot Yin with Renee and Tracey

home for the big sunday dinner

We made a HUGE Prime Rib Roast it was pretty yhummy (thank you mom for coming and assisting with the roast and dishes you are a doll)

we made mashed potatoes

Carrots with brown sugar pistachio (this is so good)

asperagus roasted with seasoning and grated parmasan cheese and asiago cheese

gravy

and we made homemade brownies 

they were so good

we had such a nice Sunday Dinner (love that so precious to me)

so that was my weekend of being pretty much home

now let me share what I created

I used a colour challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments

and so I took out some new stamps

ouh la la I enjoyed that so much

I used Everything Eleanor - and Blooming with Kindness stamp

I assembled my stamps

ouh I am so excited to finally play with this stamp

I had seen it at Lees as she had received it at Leadership I beleive

and could not wait to get my hands on this one and inked up

that I did

cardstock layers and thinking

I used Sahara Sand ink for the background image here

on Whisper white cardstock

then I reached for some fabulous Framelits

they are called

APOTHECARY ACCENTS

and wait I did more with this

ouh look at this how cool uh?

its called

ESSENTIALS PAPER PIERCING PACK

on page 181 of the new Stampin Up Idea book

sponged the shape with crump cake

and gonna stamp the greeting here

this is the fun part 

I created a flower from stampin the image from the

EVERYTHING ELEANOR STAMP

and doing a fair amount of cutting and fideling lol

oh and crumpling too lol

Ribbon colouring

it's coming together nicely don't you think?

I think it turned out really pretty don't you??

here is the card I created with this challenge

the base of the card is basic black

then I used Basic gray as my next layer 

then the whisper white

one last photo to share with you

oh and the flower is stamped with sahara sand and daffodil delight

I also sponged the white background with the daffodil delight

so friends this is my card for today

I have had to delay my blog candy announcement
