Stampin Stresss Away with Carole'Anne

I GOT IT I CAN POST PHOTOS YOU GET TO SEE MY CARD "Elements of Style"

 

GOOD DAY YH'ALL

OH MY GOODNESS I FINALLY GOT IT!

FIRST I WANT TO THANK MY FABULOUS FRIENDS AND VERY PRECIOUS FAMILY FOR MAKING MY DAY  YESTERDAY SUPER SPECIAL

I'LL BE SHARING ALL THE WONDERFUL CARDS THAT I RECEIVED DURING THIS WEEK

BUT FOR NOW I AM GOING TO ACTUALLY SHARE THIS CARD THAT I MADE FOR MY FRIEND JACKIE

 

 

    I WLL ADMIT THIS WAS A CHALLENGE FOR THIS OLD BIRD TO LEARN NEW COMPUTER - BUT I DID IT LOL

 

WORKED WITH ONE OF MY FAVORITE STAMPS ELEMENTS OF STYLE

I TEXTURED SOME VERY VANILLA CARD STOCK

a few layers and some punching 

a little bit of aging the cardstock with some sponging

lets get stampin

 I stamped the image with black staz on on Very Vanilla

after I stamped I figured out where I was going to spotlight on the stamped image

I used two methods here

I used a blender pen with my ink pads

and

then i played with some chalk to colour the flowers

a tad of sponging going on here

looking like a vintage birthday card uh?

 I did a little more sponging a little layers and some distressing

a little greeting

after all this time - goodness I am sorry my friends

but hey I really do have a finished card and I actualled was able to post it on my new Apple Laptop

oh boy I am a happy girl lol

I used Very Vanilla Seam bindin as well as some little pearls

so friends there we have it a card has been completed and posted for you all

I am truly sorry for all the hickups along the way of this new journey for me

but please know that I try hard and I guess that's the best one can do

Elements of Style Birthday card for Jackie a week late

Good day friends its a fine Tuesday morning and I actually have a card today for you all

It's interesting working on a Mac verses a PC laptop

so this post has taken me a wee bit longer

but hey I have a laptop so I can post for you

and I even purchased a New MDS so I can create all my recipies on my laptop instead of at work

(which I cannot post at work for some silly reason with a new window update ghuhr)

all right here we go

so I chose the stamp set called 

ELEMENT OF STYLES

of course from Stampin Up!

reason I wanted this one is Jackie really likes vintage look and this is a perfect stamp for that

okay so it seems that I will need assistance posting photos on this laptop

Tuesday Element of Style thank you card

 
good day friends

It's a beautiful Tuesday morning here in Alberta Canada!

it's a short week for us as we will be celebrating Canada Day on Friday

so it's a busy week around the office

all right so remember last week when I said I could not post

well this is what I wanted to post

oh by the way still emailing photos to Renee's computer guhr

no computer fixed yt - it's working I have internet

but can't post on my blog from it WEIRD

anyways

okay so last week Wanda (my co worker whos is retiring in Dec. - OH MY Goodness I am going to miss that lady and I am not sure if I will ever be able to replace her you know?)

anyways last week Wanda purchased an ordarable little Bischotti book for me

she is so sweet -

so I wanted to make her a thank you card along with some biscottie

I had two inspirations going into this

one was a beautiful birthday card that Nancy had made for me and the other was a card from Wanda

take a look

 

so I used black staz on and I stamped the flowers from Elements of Style stamp

 

like so

 
 I coloured it

as yo know I love to colour lol

 
I used pear pazzaz for the green

and the orangy colour is peach parfait

my goal has been to try different colours

 
I used my big shot ofcourse he he

and did the beautiful tuplip frame

 Then I used my knife (which stampin up is retiring better get yours before  Thursday he he)

and I cut the image apart

 
I sponged and assembled it onto blac cardstock

 
looking nive uh?

then I stamped thank you from the stamp set called

Because I care

another stamp that I will miss

 
a bow with seam binding

i love seam binding he he

 
almost done I sponged the edge of the tulip frame

and I also sponged my seam binding a little

 
and voila her card

oh wait though that is not it

I also created a cute little tag to go on the biscotti that Renee and I made

so I may just have to try it again with another stamp

Elements of Style continued and my intalls part 2

good y'all today is the day I will share the inside of the card that I created a few days ago

I am also going to show you what that Picker looks like after it's been decalled

I am not done the cab (it's a Peterbilt) I am going back at 8am to finish it!

I also have another hood to show you that I am going to decal on Friday! busy week uh?

so here is what I am thinking on the inside

 
first I decided to do emboss resist on the inside as well

so stamped the image from the same Stampin Up Stamp

Elements of Style

 
sprinkled clear embossing powder

and heat embossed

 
now sponged - cute the little happy birthday greeting in the center uh?

 
I over stamped with the flowers

now going to assemble this part and will do the top

 
okay now for the top

 
so more emboss resist and layers

and hum? need a place to write he he

okay so yesterday I Renee and I started ont he Picker truck

the picker went well and got done in few hours

the hood was a different story ghurh

I have to go back this morning and finish that!

Elements of Style Birtday card

Good day it's Tuesday and on the weekend I worked on this for a birthday card!

so I took out an old favorite stamp set

 
Stampin Up Elements of style

at first I really wasn't sure what I was going to do other then colour it

cause I love colouring

no DUH lol

 
after I stamped the image with black staz on I started to deposit colour with my pencils

 
I blended with blender pen and then added a bit more colour

 
now doing deep thinking

so trying to figure out what shape I want to cut this

my little trick

is I die cut the shape out of velum and then put it on top of my image

and then I can visualize it before I cut my image

and yhap - I don't like it

 
okay so decided to do a circle

I love this tool

 
I created several circles

 
now for some base

big thinking going on here

 
then I decided to do something I have not done in a while

I decided to emboss resist

Good day y'all

soooooo today I have one big announcement before I start

it's my MOM's birthday today!

oh yes MOM

Happy birthday to YOU!

I look forward to seeing you Sunday and serving you a beautiful supper!

the inspirational challenge photo

it's so cool

I chose to use the blue

which in Stampin Up colour is

Pacific Point

the stamp I chose was Elements of Style

 
I stamped the image twice

both on watercolour cardstock with Black Staz On

then I used the 2 1/2'' Circle to punch out a section of the image

this image I will colour with the

Stampin Up Watercolour crayons

 
I first deposited the colour with my crayons then I watercoloured them

look at my time

so far so good

I only have 15 min remember??

 
so my circle is all coloured and I sponged the edges cause I just don't have time to add another coloured layer

 
now I layered this card

I have all these measurements memorized so it takes to time at all

and I have a very vanilla piece of cardstock cut from before and even scored

BONUS he he

 
okay so then I stamped thank you

and look its terrible he he

so I restamped it and I will punch it out so I can cover up my greeting that looks BAD he he

 
fixing my error lol

 
almost done now and look I have 2:29 min

 
dimentionals and I am done like dinner

I will try to sneak in some pearls???

Waffle flower for a birthday card!

It's Monday morning and this card I had actually made last week but could not post it till now!

so it's still in Waffle paper!

Sorry I did not get to post this weekend

holly cow it was a busy one!

I think I need a weekend to recover from the weekend LOL

okay let's get started

so I played with some dies to create a really cool flower combining waffle paper and card stock

I used Rich Razzleberry card stock and the Silver Waffle paper

the stamp that I chose was the

Element of Style - stampin Up!

okay I started with diecutting a bunch of flowers

 
I used two different dies

 
then I shimmered everything with shimmer spray that I made with alcohol and champagne shimmer

 
then I started to make the flower

 
not too bad uh?

 
then I cut a piece of silver cardstock

and I stamped the flowers from the stamp

elements of style

I used richrazzleberry for the ink

 
I sponged my silver cardstock

 
now for some leaves

 
now for a little birthday banner

 
now the strugges with my ribbon

oh my I tried to make a 3 to 4 layers bow he he

 
then more thinking!

 
hum!

Bella Toile & Elements of Style corner book mark card

Corner book mark using Bella Toile & Elements of Style on an Easel card!

 

good day to you my loyal Blogging friends!

Hope you are having a FANTASTIK WEEK!

so onto the continuation of our corner book mark/card!

Took out my beautiful Newsprint DSP

oh boy I love this one

I also took out my Bella Toile background stamp

ofcourse I did a few trial errors along the way as you can tell!

alot of hit and miss

and this my friends is how you end up with a four hour card LOL
 
now for some decisions

I went with the 
Garden green scallop - and I think I may just use the Cajun Craze

I really love that new lace

it's so PRETTY!

Then to be able to put the corner book mark on my card I made a corner area and attached to my

card base I used alot of dimentionals so it would slide in really easily!

This is how it's coming together

so after this point I decided that this would look so nice on an easel card

sooooooooo Yhap let's keep going LOL

Took out a Black Piece of Cardstock

Cut to 11 1/4'' x 4 3/8''

I scote it wat 5 3/4'' and at 8 1/2''

Used Sticky strip so I can adhere my card base!

now for the bottom and I am almost done!

kinda pretty uh?

and there we have it my easel card with a removable Corner Book Mark

CUTE!

Elements of style corner book mark

Good morning to you

hope you all had a great a weekend

this morning I played with a two part idea

I firt created a corner book mark and then I added it to a card

the card part will be posted tomorrow!

I worked with a sketch that I created with my MDS for the Stampin connection!

so I went to town

I started with a piece of 4'' x 4'' Very Vanilla

I scalloped the bottom and scored it!

TO A POINT AND THEN FOLDED THEM OVER

 
Let's get decorating I took my Elements of Style stamp

and my oval dies

I took out some pretty DSP

Called Newsprint

it's in the Stampin Up Idea Book on Page 175

I am going to watercolour my image

I used Watercolour cardstock

with Black Staz On To Stamp

it's looking pretty uh 

I di the back with an extra piece of a triangle

I adhered with my sticky tape

decorating the back

some last decals

I used Garden green to layer

oh and I used Cajun Craze to watercolour

so this is my book mark part

now tomorrow I will whow you how I put this onto a card!

okay so I am all ready at work - have been inse 4:05am

Elements of style with Wax resist with embossing folder

hello my friends

hope you are all well on this fine Tuesday morning!

so I wanted to try something else with the Wax resist take a look

 

I took an embossing folder and put the wax paper in between and ran it thru Mr. Big Shot

ouh you know that reminds me

okay now put this piece of wax paper between two pieces of Glossy card stock

 

you will get this impression after you have ironed it

 

ink it up!

 

so then I moved onto my image

used Elements of Style

stamped with Black Stazon

 

now for some colours

it seems that I have started to run into uploading issues and I have to go to work

so I am sorry I have to cut his post a little short 

 

so I cut up this flower and layered it and did alot of layers with card stock

 

greetings to match the sketch

 

now to do a two tone ribbon
