My digital Studio card

good day

it's Thursday and it's very rainy here in Alberta!

I started in my craft room at 2:40am this rainy morning and I personally think it's the best way to start a day!

I have been asked to do a simple card

okay sooooooooooo Simple for me is really hard to cause I aim to please I will try

 I decided to use one of the NEW beautiful images that I downloaded from Stampin Up's

"My Digital Studio" Computer Program!

I don't think I would just make a card with just the program without layers and everything -

but you kow after I printed the image and layered it, it's actually really nice

sooooooooooo hope you like my version of a simple card LOL
 

sooooooo I had a few images that I could of chosen

I am going to give you more details of this wonderful program

okay so I chose this image and I tried to cut it up to make it more 3D

and well that was not so successful take a look

okay let's not and say we did lol

then I started trying some layers

I only have one piece of the Early Expresso cause my preorder is not here yet

fingers crossed that I get it Friday so I can play with all the wonderful new stamps and colours!

OUH and I got to  soak in the catalogue last night

OH MY goodness my friends

it's magnificiant!

ouh and I am going to have a little event on

 Sunday July 4th at my home!

it's going to be a

 Rummage Sale

& New Catalogue Realese event

I will have some of my retired stamps and DSP for sale

Will also be handing out the new catalogue to all members of my stamp club

no in one of my stamp clubs

I will have refreshments and you will also get to make a card while you are here!

how fun is that

the even will start at 11:00am and end at 4:00pm

okay sorry friends I have a bad habbit of going off topic

back to my MDS card

   I used a sponge and Soft suede with some beautiful shimmer to fill in the white areas

okay more layers

then I chose a greeting

this set is called Define your life

I sure love this set it's got alot of options!

then I did the corners

then chose some Vintage brads

and I am done

what do you think of my very FIRST MDS card

I don't mind you know

it's different

and you know ME

by now! LOL I love different LOL

I did the inside with the rest of the image

these are the brads up close

and you can see how the shimmer paint came thru really nice

as this was just printed on plain photo copy paper

could you ever tell??

I really really love the image

My room is almost done

Good day to y'all

sooooooooooooo today I am only going to post photos of my Craft Room

tomorrow I will have a recipe swap card that I sent out

and Thursday I promise will be fabulous! (well ghee I hope so anyways - he he )

after focusing a good part of my morning on my craft room I had to go to work

Sooooooooooooo I am a bit behind in my card making!

But have to fear I still have nice photos to share with you okay?

When you first walk into my Oasis this is the first thing you see

My wall of paper and the left is my stamps!

if you look over to the left you will see my new ribbon wall and my little coffee station

now we are looking from more into my room

let's walk to the end  and I will show you the room from the paper wall okay?

under the window I used to have my punches but I ran out of space so I nstalled new shelves there instead

 

onlong the wall on the left I am stil going to install a skinny shelf a the very top along the entire wall

this will be good to display my cards and suc

and the two pictures are actually photos that I took I know shocking uh??

Good Morning!

I just wanted to do a quick post this morning!

so this is a call to all of YOU wonderful creative cardmaker and Scrapbookers!

here's what we are doing!

We are putting together a design team of a min of 4 and up 6 designers!

They will be working with us on creating a weekly challenge!

We will have a really neat suprise coming up on the next couple weeks that we

 will also be announcing!

But until then.................. SUSPENSE HE HE :-)

With All my Heart begins new Challenge

Good morning it's Monday!

Sadly the weekend is over! What a wonderful weekend I had yhippy! Got sooooooooooo much done!

This week over at Late Night Stampers is all about the Vintage look!

soooooooo are you ready to see some vintage stuff from "ME" he he ?>

Should be fun right???

okay and then silly I always sign up for all these things cause I just love it - and then I have finish these projects..................

soooooooo...............

let's see what kind of projects I had to do this weekend! Are you ready???

okay so I have swap that I had to do cards for...........

I decided to use the vintage theme and with it I found Makeesha's colour challenge which I thought was just perfect!

I also used the Sketch from Card Patterns

It started more like this but I really mixed it up - if you look at it side ways it

that is what I did pretty much LOL!

Then I told myself........... Keep it simple Carole'Anne

well let's see how simple I kept my Vintage swap card LOL

I started with the colour above on Sunday morning at 1:00am I know I am soooo CRAZY I could not sleep, so down to my wonderfully warm and cozy craft room.......

after taking my card stock out...................

I started with alot of dies and alot of BIG SHOT action

I know someone is going to enjoy more Big Shot ideas.................

I then continued with some leaves and a few trial and errors and BAD

me I forgot to document those I was so intensilly working on these that I left out the photos sorry

After doing alot of flowers on my big shot I used our new Flower punch from the mini

it's on page 13!

then I punched a bunch of little circles

ouh I bet you are wondering what the heck I am doing LOL

okay so now that the damage is done I went ahead and stamped with the Baroque Motifs stamp

at first I did a blend of the so saffron and chocolate chip

 
I then krimped the flowers................

added a little edge

then I crimped

 

okay at his point I don't like what I have

so don't like it

hum???

I like this edge better 

but I am still not like over the top with it sooooooooooooooo

I am taking a break now

so it's 2:10 am and I am giving the cards a break I am going to build the last cabinet for my craft room

now for a hammer in my hands instead of stamp LOL

coming along very nicely want to see what it looks like?

 
I also added another row of shelves for my stamps.

My Renee and Woody put that one together for me on Saturday night and they put it up on top of the other one............... Good kid........ Uh? she could be doing worse things on a Saturday night eyh? he he :) I Love her!

now I have all my stamps re-organized included the new clear stamps - I sorted all the retired ones and they all aphabetized

and there we go all organized

I still have lot's to do but it can wait

off to finish my card

so I took out some Shimmer Paint..............

Nooooooooo REALLY I did! LOL

and a dabber

and I edged all my flowers

getting there uh?

after I edged I Crimped and assembled with the beautiful new brads that are in the

Stampin Up Occasions Mini Catalogue on Page 13!

Asembly time and I am almost done phew!

it is now 7:15pm and I have to admit I am a little tired lol :-)

it looks easy right - but boy oh boy when you have to do 10 it's CRAZY

ever noticed I am on the crazy side LOL :)

The Dies I used are as follows:

these two are on Page 196 of the Stampin Up Idea book

The Daisy flower & The Little Leaves

& then on page 199

I used the Flower Layers w/leaf

and the New Punch of course!
