Part 2 of my Christmas cards created with Bright Hopes

hello again friends

today feels like a Friday to me

yhippy we get tomorrow off

well the office is closed anyways lol

I have big plans to catch up on this weekend

I will do my best anyways lol

so let's continue with the Bright Hopes cards okay?

so you all remember all the stampin I did with the tree right?

I used pool party and island indigo and then ovestamped the image with white craft ink

now I am onto the mounting of these trees

I used this fabulous folder

I cut them in half and I will used them both

I made a beautiful bow

oh yes on these cards I used Very Vanilla

so I used the very vanilla seam binding

I have to say that I totally love this ribbon

looking good uh?

I did a little greeting and a little punching lol

several layers ofcourse

and I did card 3 of 4

it's pretty uh?

the pearls went so well with this cause it's very vanilla not white right?

I think I like the far back one with the seam binding and the bigger greeting

all right so tomorrow friends we will have another project for the countdown

and I will be teaching on Sunday

Annettes class is Sunday at 12:30

We are doing An Island Indigo Christmas theme

so no posting this weekend friends sorry

Bright Hopes part 1 of 2 Christmas Cards with Pool Party

Good day my friends

you will be happy this week cause I am actually going to post just like this was a stampin blog lol

I am sure some of you wonder what i am doind lately

sorry my friends

work has been slamming busy -oh wait I LOVE IT and so appreciative for us to be busy in both of our business' I have no complaints - only full of appreciation for the amount of work we have and that feels good

having said that posting on my blog some days are hard

but this past weekend I got an extra hour due to the clocks going back

I got up at 1:30am which is 2:30 the new time

I went into my craft room and I actually made 4 cards

I KNOW UH???

then I went up to my kitchen ( my second fav area of the house lol)

and I prepared my big Sunday dinner

I brinned a roast of pork and slow cooked it yhum

with mashed potatoes - fresh carrots from Bills garden (thank YOU Bill)

(my mom is truly blessed to have had two really wonderful men in her life - Thank you Bill for being so good to my mom)

I made  brocolli and cheese sauce

and I also made Tres Lache Cake

ouh yes friends I'll share that recipe next week

and then after that was done I snuck into work to catch up

hows that for Sunday!

all right sooooooooooooooooooo

now I get to the stampin part are you ready lol

I used my tree and the background stamp called

"En Francais"

colours used for these cards were

Island Indigo

Pool Party

and Whisper White

I played around a bit with this

I tried both pool party and island indigo for the background

and I sponged  but I soon discovered that doing the white craft ink tree

was not so successfull

so back to the drawing board

kinda was trying to make it a bit like a three D effect

so then I tried the same method but onto the pool party card stock

then I thought okay I can make this look better

decided to stamp the tree in the colour of ink first

and then stamp the tree in the white craft ink

and that seemed to give me the look I wanted

onto assembling some of these cards

I made two white and two very vanilla

the two very vanilla will be shared on Thursday

and I that point I will show you all 4 cards that I made

I used an embossing folder called

Snow Burst

it's on page 33 of the holiday mini catalogue

I layered each tree a little different but all using the same colours

card 1 of 4

I used a little bling bling

and white satin ribbon

and my second card

it's cute uh?

so tomorrow is recipe day

and then Thursday I'll share part 2 of this post

Island Christmas is my theme for November classes

good day

it's a new week starting with this post and a bit of strange week ahead

I'll be posting my recipe on Tuesday this week instead of Wednesday and yes friends it's the perogy recipe he he

I will not be able to post on Wednesday sorry

hope you all understand

I had many goals this passed weekend and it's coming along nicely

the first of my goals was to get my countdown projects under control have a few weekends of alot of stuff happening

then I wanted to do design my November classes and my November swaps

I wanted to bake

I wanted to clean out several cupboards and vacuum my entire house along with the heat grates

this is everything I did on Saturday

Sunday brought the rest of my baking and cooking for my up coming events

and the all the laundry

I also did the tutorials for you all for the newsletter

phew and I am heading to work early today so I can have everything accomplished that needs to get done today

yhippy success I love it

all right so let me show you what I was playing with

I played with Island Indigo cardstock

and used two stamp sets

ouh la la and then I invented a new snow idea

I can't wait to show my classes

soooooooooooo cool!

oh I played alot with this too fussy

success perhaps

voila November classes

the oval card holds several surprises for my classes

I am excited for this one

it's very unique

that's all the details I'll give you lol
