Gooooooooooooooooooooooodddddddddddddddddd Morning!

phew sure am happy to wake up to a much better day today yhahooo!

hope you are all doing just a good as I feel!

on this fine morning I have two cards for you!

I know can you beleive it??? I have two cards he he

well the one is the card that I did not finish on Wed. he he does that count???

and the other I wanted to make a matching card to my little oval basket!

okay so let me show you my little card for my basket first

 

I pulled my Greenhouse Gardens back out to match the oval Basket

 

then I thought I would try the stem from Bloomin Beautiful and well that did not work out so good

 

yhuk yhuk and more yhuk 

 

okay so I used the stem from Awash I like that better

do you see how many I messed up??

goodness me!

 

oh my! help!!!

can you beleive I Just stuck my stamp in Soft Suede instead of Curry!

 

okay I am much better now

can you beleive it?? lol

 

I just had to add some pearls cause I have to match my oval basket!

 

then a little ribbon treatment and we have a nice set

 

pretty uh? What do you think of this set

I still want to make a littlers basket to make a it a nice set

I decided to go with Bloomin Beautiful stamp set

 

I used white cardstock and stamped with Black Staz On

 

did a little colouring cause we all know how much I don't like to colour LOL

 

I stamped the definition of Blosson and I edged all around the outside  with going grey

 

looking not too bad then I had a change of heart

I decided to take the big ribbon out and insert different ribbon

this was after I added a ribbon at the bottom with my flowers

 
I used a taffeta ribbon to colur with Basic Black Stampin Write Markers

I love that Stampin Up has all these wonderful markers that match our colours!

 

this is what my ribbon looked like once I inserted

Blooming Beautiful with the Stampin 411 & Easy Breezy challenge

Good morning!

yhahooooooooooooo guess what time it is???? YHAP it's 5:15am!

yhe I sooooooooooooooooooo HAPPY I did!!! only 2 1/4 hours spent on my card this morning! LOL

soooo this morning I wanted to get away from the emboss resist

I worry alot that I am boring you with doing the same old, same old!

So two goals this morning

no background treatment and to use a different DSP

I did it!

I also used two challenges

my first challenge I

chose was this really nice

sketch from

Stamping 411

then I needed

some colours

right???

well then guess what I did???

yhap found a colour challenge

y'all be proud of me cause I did some homework at like 9:00pm last night 

cause I just can't be late today!

got a job y'a know he he!!!!

 

so this is ny colour challenge

it's called the

Easy Breezy Kewl Colour

now I am set 

let's get started my bloggin friends

here's my card stock

then I used black staz on and I stamped the flowers

then I used a white crayon 

sort of like crayon resist

I am going to do this a on bigger scale for y'all tomorrow!

I used my watercolour pencils and a blender pen

I added a bit more colour with my ink pads and an aqua painter

I still had a bit of shimmer in my lids to added it as well

cool beans (that is Liane's saying he he )

then I did the ............

he he I can't think of the word

I want to say vase but I know that is wrong!!??

okay well you get what I colouring here right LOL

gheesh I am dork!!!!! he he

now to add that DSP

now for some layers

at least I know that word LOL

I used the Fresh Cuts stamp set for the little greeting

this card could be used for many different occasions with a just the words

I took apart one of our brads and used a glue dot to adhere the bling

I did the little white dots in the centre with my white gel pen

and then added some crystal effects to highlight the dots

Bloomin Beautiful with the color dare

Good day y'all!

It's Thursday, we are almost at the weekend!

ye! Aren't y'all happy about that?? I sure am!

Fun Fun!

talking about fun I had a little play time this morning and had a lot of fun

I worked with Hand Stamped Sentiments and The Color Dare

and now for

the sketch

I am ready

then I chose my stamp

I decided to you Bloomin Beautiful - I haven't used it for a while!

I tried to stamp he he

goodness I was having a hard time getting the two flowers where I wanted them to be

blonde moment

so I finally succeeded

holly this should of need this hard!

I am going to cut out the flowers

now for a background piece

I don't really want to have it just white

but I did not succedd off the batt

took me to tries

I tried the Green Golore at first

I used Shimmery White cardstock

yha well that is NOT good at all

I went back to the drawing board

I went with pretty pink instead

that is better

I used both green golore and pretty in pink dabbers with white shimmer paint

to acheive this

I wipe it a bit to blend with a baby wipe

now for some layers and ribbon

I pulled out my crimper

I used black cardstock

created a little vase for my flowers

kinda cute uh?

punched two borders 

coming along nicely what do you think?

I used an aqua painter with my stamp pad and shimmer paint

to watercolour my flowers

I mixed the pretty in pink and high shaded with Melon Mambo

I cute it really tight around the flowers and the stems

that is coming along nicely

Used Wellness wishes clear stamp set instead

I created a little trick for myself

see how I did punch this square - I put in a little ways and left a gap

take a look why!

do you see when I punched the black exact size of the punch I then get a little border on the top and bottom???
Kinda cool uh?

may not be my all time FAVOURITE or anything but I was really having a hard time today to come up with something different!

Bloomin Beautiful my non 10 minute card!

Hello to you my blogging Friends!

Well this Saturday morning brings a much better day then last Satuday I tell you - I have no bad news to report!!!! We are all having a nice SNOWY day here in the Stony Plain, Alberta area! It's beautiful outside!!! Reminds me of my childhood in Quebec, I tell you! AHW! :)

oooppppppsssss sorry got carrried away he he :)

So this morning I wanted to finish my non 10 minute card!!!! ouh but first! I have to announce the

So as you know I used the Bloomin Beautiful stamp set and you seen the sketch yesterday so I won't repeat all that!

This card brings more time, so I get to add layers....... I know can you beleive it???? LAYERS HE HE :)

So I like to stamp on a piece of cork when I stamp on water colour paper, I just find that it leaves a punch better stamp impression! - I used Craft ink and embossed the image

I coloured my flowers and the pot with water colour pencils and a blender pen

Then I cut out the blooms and the little clay pot

then I added alot of dimension with Crystal Effects and shimmer paint

 
oh ofcourse... I had to pull a Rosa move - how can I make a card without doing something silly he he :)

I messed up the layers and then left out my pretty chocolate chip ribbon DUH!!!!

 

I had cut out some blooms that I had coloured darker - but I didn't like the look! took them off!

so I just kept it to the pretty in pink blossoms

there we have it - my non ten minute card

up close photo of the pearl that I created with Crystal effect and shimmer paint - I just love this look and being able to use 100% Stampin Up Product is a must for my blog

you can see how the blooms look higher a little, cause I cut them out and adhere them with little glue dots

 
Well that is it for this Saturday - got to get ready to head out to a meeting this morning!

Bloomin Beautiful SCA106 10 min card

It's Friday .............. Oh my I have never been so happy to see Friday as I have this week PHEW What a week!!!!

okay so first I want to say that Renee had a really good day yesterday - thank you all for you wonderful kind thoughts and prayers.  I am much releived to see progress in my precious little girl ( I know she is 16, but you know what, she is still my baby girl he he :-) )

Second we got to accounce our winner for the 10 min card from last week!!!

Okay here is my 10 min card details!

so now for my 10 min card...... As you know this Challenge started with Sandi and I challenging each other, and we are so excited to be able to include you in our challenge now with Mister Linky. We so love to see what you create.  Don't forget to go over to Sandi's blog and check her awesome creation! I know you will enjoy her post, cause I tell you, she does some fabulous work! I will have her link at the bottom of this post....... Please don't forget to check out her  BEAUTIFUL 10 min card!

I wanted to keep with the theme of the Hugs and Kisses for our LNS challenge! so I did  a love card!

So started with our sketch

Then I used the colour Throwdown colour challenge

 

I made this card square 5 1/4'' x 5 1/4''

I created my circles with both my Big Shot and my circle cutter.

then I stamped  a test in a cirlce traced on my scrap paper

 
I did it in the real circle - I used water colour paper for this one

 

and Craft ink which I embossed (with chocolate chip)

 

then I used chalk and my aqua painter to colour my image

I really really had to hurry cause you know it's a 10 min card................

 

I didn't have time to highlight and low light! - but when I post my non 10 min card tomorrow you will see that I did that! 

But I didnt make it in 10 min GHUGHR 

It took me just a little over 12 min!  

 
I never had time to emboss the word "LOVE" so I just used Versa Mark - ouh sneeky uh??

Sunday morning finishing my Saturday sketcch

I am finally back................

so sorry about the delay and suspense -

so where did we leave off? Maybe I will just show you again what the sketch was!

This sketch is a really interesting lay out.  I really did not want to make it like a house.

so had an idea of creating an enveloppe - the top would be the little peak...........

here's how it all went down, with alot of interuptions, remember I started this card yesterday at like 3:00am. I was back in here this morning at 3:20am. 

Oh ofcourse had to work yesterday, so I didn't play with this sketch all day HE HE -

from what I recall this was where I left off.............

I stamped my image on watercolour paper - when I stamp a watercolour image, I use black staz on and I use a piece of cork in behind, I find it makes for a better stamped image................

I created a mask - so I could stamp the "Blossom" wording in the pot ........ I did think very good, so I re did the mask like this instead,

much better thinking HE HE :)
now for making this all pretty

I used my watercolour pencils with a blender pen to colour in the  beautiful flowers.  I had printed photos of the real life flowers to see how they should be coloured - that helped me a lot!

now trying to recall what I did next............. HE HE :)

oh yha, right, I created myself a template for the enveloppe that I was putting on my card.

I cut out velum to create the enveloppe.

 oh this is where I am feeling hopeless........... colours colours colours - but I solved the puzzle

soooooooooooo decided to add some bride paper, you know I LOVE this paper

I had received a great comment from a fellow stamper and she had directed me to her uplines blog, for how they colour their bride paper, they used a brayer, so I thought I would try that! I am so sorry, I do not have her link, gheesh if only I had a good memory LOL :) sorry

aint it beautiful - now to decide which one it's going to be????? LOL

What to do????

I used the tag die from my big shot

coming together, does any of the colours look like what I started with LOL :)

you would think with all my ribbon choice that I would have real rust right? and this is only a little section of my ribbon, but nope, don't have it

ah a ribbon - but that is not good enough

oh no I messed up - look what I did, I have to fix this! and it's already adhered - sad:(

created a fix, with my big shot............

oh do you notice the nice yellow new piece that my big shot is sitting on?

It almost looks like Curry yellow, since I had nothing yellow, Renee and I painted an old wooded shelf.................

That's the one! I love it.

anyways - sorry back to the card.......... HE HE :)
