All right friends so here is part two
This has my finished thank you card

So this is my card
Oh and I even took the photos with my IPad
It's strange though that I can't insert the photos and then comment on them
Maybe someone out there will have the answer for me!????

A thank you card

Good mornin y'all
So this is my first post with my IPad
I am not sure if this is going to work the way I am expecting it to
I am trying to be prepared for up and coming holidays
So I hope this post comes to you looking somewhat normal lol
I created a card for Wanda's husband on the weekend
You see we are in the process of getting a new service truck for the companies
The truck is coming from California but the the service box with the picker coming from arizona
We George went and checked out the company that is doing the box for us
And so I wanted to make him a card
I used the stamp called baroque motifs and some emboss resist
Now it seems that I can't put more photos the. This so I'll do a second post
Oh technology is grande when you try to learn it uh??
Okay so I'll do a second post with the rest if photos

Stampin Up thank you card with 5 sets

 
oh yes I used 5 stamp sets for this card lol

I was given the MOST beautiful gift and I took inspiration from this and made

Wanda a card!

would like to see what I did??

okay so I started with this beauty!

 
gorgeous uh?

and Wanda had filled it to the rim with beautiful gifts

she is so sweet

and the girls took me out for lunch on Wed. to the Loft at Sandy View Farms

in Spruce Grove

OMGoodness so super yhummy!

okay back to the card

 
took the first set

started thinking about what I was going to create

 
I always like to place my stampe as to the location I am thinking of stampin

I cut up some DSP

newsprint stampin up ofcourse

 
then I took out another stamp set

I used the baroque motifs and Easter Blossom as well

I know I just had to make this the SAME as the beautiful container lol

 
see I stamped the branches for the bird to sit on with the easter blossom set

 
then I finally stamped the bird he he

and cut him out

created a few flowers

there were roses on the container

 
did some sponging then took another stamp set out lol

this one is for the roses to sit on

it's called Message for Mom

 

okay now I think I am ready to layer this card

I used more DSP

 

all right layers are in place

let's finish the last details

added a pretty little charm

 
then I did several dimentions to add alot depth to the card

 
and voila my card

Baroque Motifs with a colour challenge from the Stamp-a-holics

 
 
it's FRIDAY which means we have an amazing colour challenge for the Stamp-a-holics blog thank you Cynthia for the colour choice!

so I played with these colours for 3 mornings!

but I finally nailed it

I used the Mojo Monday sketch along with these colours

want to see??

in the end I really did

 

succeed!

let see what

all happened okay?

 
so I took out my colours and I started with 15 min on my timer

 
I cut my layers

looking good

 

I used the new tulip folder for my very vanilla layer

 
I sponged and I am still doing good for time

 
then I stamped

I loaded my stamp with so saffron then coloured in with old olive and rose red

 
stamped

 
created some circles

oh yes with my circle cutter I love this tool

it's in the idea book

the Current Stampin Up one

on page 199 - a must have tool

 
okay then I stamped a thank you from the Occasional quotes stamp set

I stamped with rose red

 
now for some little details

are these little Pompom Trim

these are on page 35 of the new

Mini Occasions Stampin Up Catalogue

 
okay now I am almost done I used dimentionals on the back of this little circle

 
now for the last detail

I can do this

oh by the way I am working on really neat tutorial

it's called

"flower Fest"

I will have all the details on this flower in that tutorial

I sure hope to have it ready on Tuesday

I will sew the button in and I am done done done he he

 
just to adhere it onto the card now

then I wanted to step it up a bit

so after my time was up I added a few pearls and this is what my card looks like now

 
and there we have  it a stepped up version

which took me like a  min more he he

Baroque Motifs -Stamp-a-holics 30 min scrapbook page challenge

Presto DSP was my incentive to create this wonderful page that Becky created for us!

you will be so proud of me cause I did it!- in the right time about! I am so happy!

so I started with the only photos that I had - that would be small enough LOL

 
as you can tell I decided to go with an antique look

these photos are my parents!

 
so the first thing I did with this challenge is that I got my square punches

 
I punched out all three photos

 
then I took some Presto DSP

and I sponged three colours

More Mustard

Soft Suede

and Basic Grey

 
now for a little trick of the trade LOL
I used the 1 3/8'' sqaure punch but I left a little edge on the left side and the bottom

so that it would make the square a little bigger

then I punched another square the correct way and look at this

 
you see how cool that is

now I got three layers out of two punches!

 
how awesome am I doing LOL
 
I love using these mini glue dots for little pieces like this

it's fast and it works soooo well!

I was thinking of brads but I changed my mind

 
I coloured a ribbon

tried both soft suede and more mustard

I prefered the more mustard

 
I used pearls

and I am  thrilled that I did this in less then 30 min!

oh  yes we have changed our times of our challenge

it will be 15 min for cards

30 for a scrapbook page

and 45 min for a 3D items

 
up closen at the pearls

I also used baroque motifs to stamp

 
the little tag greeting

I used soft suede to stamp here

and well there we have it

what do you think

You all know by know that scrapbookin is not my strong suite LOL

But I love using that DSP Presto that Stampin Up now has

it's an easy way to make a beautiful page in now time

now for some news

I am sad to have to tell you that Sandi will no longer be part of our Stampaholics design team

I knoooooooowwwwwwww

but you know what she has big goals which I so admire her determination and I know for a fact that she will succeed - cause you all know that I think the world of my sis

and I miss her and so will our team - but I do look forward to seeing her play along when time permits

next week things will be a bit different

we will have a BIG announcement to make and show you something fun and NEW!

I can't wait to show you all what we have been doing the behind the scenes!

so I don't forget that you can play along with us

Artistic Etchings Collage card

hello my dear Blogging Friends

I made it to the weekend! I am some happy about that I tell yha!

sooooooooo my card today is the last of my series of Collage Stamping

and that brings me to the next week!

I have not decided what the theme will be he he :-)

I guess it will be a surprise uh? lol

okay so what did I play with

 

so rememver that cardstock that I made last weekend

I finished using it today

take a look at what I made with it!

 

I put an eyelet in the top after I had stamped the Eiffel Tower

 

remember those butterflies that I had made for my swap cards?

well I had a few left over

 

then I created some cool new flowers

I combined a few tutuorials and I recreated a rolled flower

 

so after alot of trial and errors Ithink I finally created a few flowers!

 

I perfected the flowers and I added little rhinestones in the center of each flower

 

I did a greeting from the set called Baroque Motifs

 

Colours were

Black

Very Vanilla

More Mustard 

Pacific Point

 

Voila my card

one more photo and I am running out!

want to cut those decals for the 40 banner order yahhoooooooooooooo

then I will come back and try really really hard to work on my over the top swap

Good morning!

although we are not doing the 10 min card challenge today I have  a quick post for you

it's going to be quick I promise

the first thing I want to share is what I did with my cards from yesterday

with all your help this is what I came up with

I took photograph that I had a taken of a flower

I can't rmember where the flower was I know NOT my yard but anyways 

I wanted to over stamp and put a greeting......................

I did some matting

I used Vintage Vogue

& Wings of Frienship

I stamped in Chocolate chip and Ruby Red

I rounded all  the corners on my photo

now for a greeting 

I had tried the Blush blosson at first

but just was not really really loving it!

 

I think this is better!

here I created some butterflies

hey Carey look who was in action this morning LOL

I was really needed to add some accessories

but I just was not liking the brown brads

then I remembered

Baroque Motifs Swaps for the Swap Team

Good morning to you my blogging friends

so today I have a card that I am working on for the little swap team that I am on

I have had a lot of moments with this card and I am struggling the end part of the card

I am really really hoping that YOU can help me make this decision!

Please??? he he :-) yhap that is a little begging lol

so the first thing I had to do was emboss resist

The theme this month is

Birthday and Emboss resist

so I took out the perfect stamp to emboss resist

I used Baroque Motifs

I used VersaMark

and stamped on Very vanilla

then my first colour choices 

he he 

I say this cause I did a few 

I know I am so bad at changing my mind

have you ever noticed that I am a bit of perfectionist

and you know I have passed that on to my beloved daughter Renee!

This is TRUE he he :)

I used reinkers and shimmer paint

I mixed the two 

ain't it pretty

this is Mellow moss and White shimmer paint

I dabbed and dabbed and dabbed lol

I wipped a little

i just wasnt' overly thrilled a this point

then I seen that Krista had a really nice colour challenge

 

so I switch my colours and I kept my Very Vanilla

then I created some templates for the little tags that I am going to be inserting 

what do you tihnk of my new colour??

I added the bermuda bay and curry to my base

then I worked on my flowers

yesterday I was chatting again with one of my friends

and we were talking about those flowers created with pages of books 

well I had started making those for this card

so she was saying that she was going to dip the tipp of the flowers and then spray them

and let the ink run!

   I put a little ink in a holder

and dipped the tips of the flowers

Thank you Penny GREAT IDEA my friend

I then dipped the tip of the flowers and quickly grabbed my shimmer spray

sprayed my flowers and let it run he he

look how pretty this is

 
so this was my original thougth and design

but I was having a hard time making the triangles perfect and do need to do 6 and doubling up the cardstock that is 12!

so this is where I went

well not quite he he:)

I have not decided on my layers on the scallop

I am hoping that all ny wonderful blogging friends will be willing to help me???

I have stamped the cute little tags and now I am going to put in eyelets

I decided to go with the bigger eyeles

I prefer this

I also coloured this ribbon to be curry

so this is option 1

anyways we hope that you totally understand

Baroque Motifs Recipe swaps

Hello

It's Wed and I have kinda a different recipe post today

I am going to share a new recipe but also how I did my swaps

this is a recipe swap that I am in - it's a montly one

soooooooooooo............... Krista twisted my arm and I am doing it

I almost dropped out but she talked me into it.

I think that it comes down to the scrapbooking thing you know???

Anyways here is what I did for this months swap

So I used Dusty Durango, Sahara Sand and Natural White for my card stock

Stamped Baroque Motifs

I used my big shot 

perfect for the Late Night stampers challenge

Punch challenge!

This die is called

Swirls Scribbles on Page 196

More punching was done with the edge as well

so then I did more punching for my greeting

this is the set that you could actually win!

I used the ribbon to match - Dusty Durango

okay ready to assemble

oh  yha right I added two jewelled brads

okay here are the swaps

okay now for business

I actually created a scarpbook page sketch for Stampin Connect and this is my fourth page

I am so proud of myself

maybe not of the page itself, but of me to work on this weak area of my crafting!

the sketch I created was sort of thinking along the line ofvintage

here is the sketch

I also turned all photos into Sepia

I used some of my favorite moments of GREECE

Trying to choose the photos and the colours I tried sage, Tempting Turquoise and the Pacific Blue

the Blue seemed to fit the theme better.

In Greece the top of the churches are exactly this blue colour!

okay so then I matted all the photos

then I pulled out a stamp set

Stampin Up Baroque Motifs

I used Soft Suede ink

I like that look don't you

and I used two ribbons 

the soft suede and the white satin 

when I used the buttons as first I didn't like that they didn't match very nice

so out the dabbers came and I dabbed the buttons with ink and shimmer paint

I like this better! 

I used my Cropadile and punched the holes

hey does that count as the Punch Challenge he he?

okay just kidding hey!

But I got some punching action coming up

I used my BIG SHOT 

oh yha you will see this fabulous machine alot this week ladies!!!!

The ones I used are called Natirally Serif on page

196 of the Stampin Up Idea Book

I spelled out the word 

GREECE 

then I punched two ovals for my journaling

yes I actually did journal
