It's Christmas eve
Can you believe it is Dec. 24, 2009!
Whow it seems like this year just flew by! When I was a little girl growing up in Quebec the three best things about Christmas was: Church on Christmas eve, and then we would go to a relatives house for a Réveillon, and we would have a Santa that would give us 1 present! The next morning was the big day! The best part was playing with my cousins and going to another Reveillon, we would dance, eat alot of excellent food and of course a food fight! HE HE :) ouh those were good memories!
So no Reveillon tonight! However Evan, Renee, and Rex will get to open their stockings!
Sooooooooooooooooo today I have a little something for you! It is a Tutorial for the "Faux Cloisonne"!
without further a do................. let's get started!
the first thing you will do is browse some magazines - I know you are like What the heck is she talking about you??? LOL! You will be stamping an open image on a magazine page......... Here let me show you
then I used Black Craft ink and black embossing powder to stamp my rose from Fifth Avenue
now we will cut it down
so that is the technique of Faux Cloisonne
now lets put this card together shall we
I used Mellow Moss for this cardstock. My other colours are chose are: Bravo Burgundy and Blush blossom

ouh and then you can Tess FREE if you leave me a comment cause that is my
sorry okay so the greeting is stamped!
now I am going to use alot of oval punches
I used beads from our Pretties kits but I l also used some of our Bead Duo's on Page 180!
they are sooooooooooooo super beautiful - don't you think?
I also decided that I wanted to soften up the card a bit so I added yet another layer of card stock! okay I know I am sooooooooooooo crazy over layers lol
I used shimmery white!
this way my white beads would look so nice together
This center piece of the rose I used glue dots - but I doubled them up so it would be a little higher
and well my friend I am done with my card!
so yesterday my staff and I exchanged gifts - whow I was so spoiled!
I received a fabulous laptop bag - mine broke while I was in Greece - so the brilliant Liane got me a great laptop bag!
and I received alot of other goodies, and one of them is this really cool little stand - take a look - this was from Wanda
What do you think??
aint it gorgeous - so cute it has a fancy hat and black high heels on the bottom - but being the door knob I am today I missed the bottom - I promise to show it you again okay?
there we go!
wishing you and your family a fabulous Holiday Season!
