Apothecary Art into Mojo Monday sketch

 

hello to you all 

hope this week has treated you well

we have had a really great week

it's been busy which I am always very very happy about lol

I have had a chance to play in my craft room a tag which is always good

I did just that Tuesday morning and want to share the card I created with the 

Mojo Monday sketch

I also used an inspiration of a card that was in the New Stampin Up Idea Book

ready

so on Tuesday I had showed you what I was going to be doing

I used the DSP called Newsprint

what a nice DSP

I am happy it's still current

then I created the sketch 

when I first created this base

it was too small lol

I had to make it a wee tag bigger he he

then I stamped and stamped and stamped

lol did I mention I stamped 

????

then I cut

I cut

and I cut

lol

a lot of layers went into this card

colours I used

VERY VANILLA CARDSTOCK

RASBERRY RIPPLE CARDSTOCK AND INK

BLACK VERSA MARK INK

DSP NEWSPRINT

Ribbon is Very Vanilla Seam Binding

I sponged the edge with Rasberry Ripple ink

almost complete

a few last details

and my card is complete

I so enjoyed my time making this card

I KNOW sorry friends it's a wee tad nuts!

Good day y'all

so as promised I am back bright and early today!

thank you for helping with suggestions I always truly appreciate it

talking appreciation

let's continue onto my little cards

onto card two here

again used a different colour on this one

the three colours in the end where

Blushing Bride

Rose Red

and Cherry cobbler

each card received ribbon treatment

well I actually used seam binding

I love using this product cause it's really easy to form a beautiful bow

this is my last card that I created with the cherry cobbler colour

each card inside had a little stamp that said

Thanks!

and I adhered the gift card with dotto on the inside top panel

this is the Rose Red Card

it's cute uh?

this is the Blushing Bride card

I used Always artichoke for the seam binding double bow

and the last one is Cherry Cobbler

this one I had to use Black for the base of the scallop circle

well those are my little appreciation cards

Appreciation cards created with Apothecary Art

Good day Friends

it's a Snowy white Saturday morning here in Alberta

I am getting a later start today the last two nights this cold has prevented me from sleeping

last night was a late night - I went to bed well after 11:30pm

so when I was suppose to get up at 2:45am I was way beyond tired

so I rested a bit longer and managed to get up at 4:30am instead

I am going to head to work shortly so not much stampin will happen this morning

First I want to wish Sandi a very very happy birthday (it was her birthday yesterday) and Lee is today

so Lee Happy birthday to YOU!

I had sent their little packages - (I know Lee got hers - hope Sandi did too)

all right onto why you are really here right lol

 I do have 3 little cards that I created for my girls at work

I had made them last weekend before I left for Calgary and when I went to work On Sunday I put each card on each of  the girls desks

- I also had a put a gift card inside

the reason

just to show my appreciation for my staff -

so I will share the start of the three cards and I'll post the finished cards tomorrow for you

1st I pulled out this wonderful stamp set called Apothecary Art

this set I really have enjoyed - and I love using the embosslits with the images!

then I took out a lot of different DSP

and I chose a different colour for each of the girls

I used my circle cutter and I cut out three circles with my selected DSP

I then added layers to each card and I used my big shot with the Scallop circle die

they are going to be cute don't you think?

now onto some stampin

I always use Black Staz on - when I want to colour in any form!

stamped and cut!

now for some colour

I used the same colouring technique on each card

watercolour crayons and an aqua painter

I also sponged each of the cards

this one is blushing pride colours

I added little details to each card

and I am going to leave you here friends

but don't worry

I'll have more time tomorrow morning and I will share all the cards then

I do have a favor to ask though

Apothecary Art - Part 2 of Annette's birthday card

Whow is it really Monday all ready

what happened to the weekend

tomorrow I'll share class moments with you

but today I promised to share Annettes finished card

ouh la la and distressing too cause she loves that style

it's her style the distressed look

I went very victorian on my mom's card!

Apothecary Art Annettes card part 1

it's the weekend - holly I am happy it's the weekend I'll tell yha

I am sorry about not posting yesterday

however it's been a week that feels like 2!

but that's okay it makes me appreciate the good days/weeks- when you have a week like that

sooooooooooooooooooooo

it's the weekend

happy to have a few extra minutes in my craft room!

I started working on Annettes card and my mom card earlier this week

now I can't show you the finished card for Annette cause I am giving it to her on Sunday at class

so I will share some of the steps that I did and then on Monday I will share the rest of the card

then I will share my mom's process of her card

I will be gone to Calgary this week leaving Tuesday afternoon

but if all goes good I will try to still post as much as I can!

all right let's get playing with some ink and stamp

my original thought was using the mojo monday sketch and the fabulous baja breeze ribbon

I so love the new Stampin Up Pleated Satin Ribbon

it's in the mini on page 12!

now let's play with some beautiful DSP

colour changed along the way

you see I usually make at least two dozen changes along the way of creating a card

hum?

more changes coming my way lol

let's shift to another fabulous new product from that best MINI ever

I did some stampin

oh goodness look at my mess I have going on lol

all right so then I went into distress mode

and that is my sneak peak

I know I am so bad

Wednesday brings play time with Apothecary Art new Stamp set

Good day my friends

I know it's Wednesday I should be posting a recipe right?

well since it's been over a week since I have created a card I just had to be in my craft room this morning

sooooooooooooo MUCH to do before we leave Sunday

goodness

yesterday was another hairy day but I got everything I wanted done

mind you I did not get home from Cost co till 8:30pm last night

oh and this morning I was up at 2:15 am - got this card made

and now I am going to make everything for the Fajita Christmas Staff Lunch

I know too much on my plate

not to mention 2 cranes to decal

a 30 foot end dump trailer

two semi

a D6N cat

and all the other order

and I have 3 days left of this week

yhap I will be working Saturday for sure lol

okay sooooooooooooo let me share the fun card I create with all my new goodies from the

new Occasions Mini Catalogue

i stamped this image on very vanilla

then I used our beautiful new Framelits Dies

these are called the labels collection

now let's put this together with a new DSP

it's called Attic Boutique

so pretty dont' you think?

oh wait I got to colour first

then a little ribbon treatment and look at the bottom

Oh yes I know more new goodies

boy I wish I had more time to play in here

too crazy right now

tomorrow it's dinner at the melting pot for Wanda's retirement dinner

and voila my frist card with all the fabulous goods from the Occasions Mini catalogue

oh yes classes will be fun in January uh?
