Abundant Hope Sympathy card with homemade beads

Good day y'all!

holly today is just like a Wed. cause I get Friday off! yhahooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

soooooooo toay I created a bit of a different card I thought perhaps you maybe tired of me making all these different kinds of backgrounds! yhap so I decided to do a little watercolouring and using some Bride DSP cardstock

What I started with were two challenges

the first was a

Stamping 411 Sketch

 

This is a cute little sketch

uh?

now that I have the sketch I have to have

some colours right?

Here is The Picture Perfect colour challenge

 

now I am ready

colours and  stamp

I created a mask with a sticky note

then I stamped another flower

then I used my classic stamp pads with an aqua painter and I watercoloured

I took out some Bride DSP

I know it's been a while uh???

did you think I fergot about my fav. DSP

no way!

If I am not inventing a background, still got to make it pretty somehows he he

this Bride DSP that Stampin Up has is the best answer

yha sure do love this 

oh don't forget after you use the brayer you want to wipe away the ink off the design with alcholo

now for a greeting

a new greeting didn't like that other one

it's sympathy card week at LNS so decided to make this card for that challenge as wel!

 

added a pretty white ribbon

ouh and then it was time to make some new paper beads 

yhe fun

ah yes I love'm he he

I used some scrap cardstock including my colour DSP

and I put a little white gel pen designs on the Always artichoke cardstock

and then roll them up

I know I am so silly but I just love using Stampin Up products to make Unique pieces!

Abundant Hope and Sketch for Stampin Connect

Good morning and I hope you all had as great a weekend as I did!

I was able to play catch up and get alot of stampin done!

Which is a great feeling!

Today I have combined two challenges into one

our Late night stampers challenge this week is to emboss or deboss

so I did that along side of the Stampin Connect Sketch

which is this

so I thought I would use a stamp that I have not been able use much!

I decided to play with the new stamp called Abundant Hope

I used only three colours on this card - 

ofcourse all Stampin Up colours! :)

Crushed Curry

Black

& Shimmery White

then I started by doing some nice texture to a piece of Crushed curry

oh yes with My

BIG SHOT!

 
so easy with these emboss folders

  so pretty uh?

now to put to this piece to use!

hum??

too much yellow

yhap I am thinking that is better

I matted the circles 

I used my circles die (in the Big Shot)  and it's a perfect matt!

now I need to add some colour to those beautiful flowers

I used the Crushed curry stamp pad, some shimmer paint and an aqua painter

I used Old olive for the leaves here

then I used a dabber and edged all the way around the greeting

now to assemble

 
I used mini glue dots for the back of the circles to adhere them

I used Crystal Effects to put my buttons on

and here we have it 

my first card of the week

and did you notice I did NOT have a single Rosa moment

yhe I am so proud of myself :)

lol

this is how the flowers turned out

I like to use my aqua painter on shimmery card stock cause it blends really well

the shimmer is so pretty!

Abundant Hope meets Card Pattern challenge

Hello everyone!

Hope y'all had a great weekend!

I sure did! I cleaned out more parts of my craft room and I also built a new cabinet for my Craft

Room!

so you know how you are used to seing my hands with stamps he he

well my hands had a screwdriver in them yesterday morning @ 3:00am!

 

and there it is my new cabinet

okay so lets see what I created

I used to challenges into one - on this one

Inspiration Challenge

Soooooooooooooooo What did I do...............??????????????

well I tell you that I tried alot of things he he :)

 
My colours are Melon mambo, pretty in pink, so saffron and very vanilla

so after alot of trial and errors I ended using Bridesmaid  DSP

this is what I came up with!

If you are interested in know how I did it I could do a tutorial just let me know okay??

so I am liking this the image I stamped came from the new stamp set called

Abundant Hope and I used the Whimsical words for the greeting

 
ouh how I love to colour!

 

It's coming along nicely

so now for buttons and or tab that I have to add

okay but I do not like the pink on the tabs and I think the bow is too much 

decided to do a coloured ribbon with So Saffron

and there we go I decided to go with little buttons which I think is just a bit softer
