today I want to share a little baby card I created

I used the Mojo Monday Sketch ready?

the baby card is for

one of  the guys

that subcontracts

for us

they just had a litte

baby girl

 

 

here's where I started

NOT where I ended up lol

browsed my DSP

not too happy with the colour so trying something different

I changed the DSP I thought the other was to bold for a baby


this is better

not sure which one I like best yet

a little ribbon treatement now

Stamp set for the greeting "Friendly Phrases"

I used the Builder Punch Called Stocking

the die is called "Two Tags" (I trimmed it to be smaller)

the card size is standard 4 1/4'' x 5 1/2''

the first layer I cut is 4'' x 5 1/4''

I added several beautiful little pink rhinestones

okay soooooooooooo for the weekend - my lapttop will in the hospital for a few days

it's getting switch over to an Apple from my current HP - wish me luck lol

I will not be able to post until the hopsital stay is over for my laptop

which means no post this weekend

hopefully MOnday I will be back up in running

this weekend I will be working on a week full

of MASCULINE CARDS

oh yes asked for it I will get it to you

I will also be working on a watercolouring video

hope it's better then the last video I tried to post lol

Flower Fest and a word for you - Stampaholics colour challenge

 
 
Good day it's FRIDAY yhahoooooooooo

what a week it has been

between the deck being redone and having a huge BBQ in my kitchen and feeding extra people oh and did I mention working crazy insane amount of hours like 4:00 am to 7ish pm - fun stuff

so happy to be busy at work

keep it coming - no complaints here from the peanut gallery

so it's Stamp-a-holics colour challenge day today

I have to admit these colours were not that easy for ME

but I managed to pull off in the 15 min!

yhippy!

so here we go my friends the wonderful colour challenge created by Nancy Dawson

 
so I started with this new stamp set from the Stampin Up

Summer Mini Catalogue

it's called Flower Fest

 
I used black staz on

 
I chalked

 
I used the large scallop circle punch

 
then I created a little background

with the same stamp

I stamped on shimmery cardstock

 
I put the background thru my Big Shot

and cut a piece of cut stock for the bottom

now for a bow

created with Miss Lee's fabulous bow maker

love it!

 
now for a brad in the center of layered flower

 
a greeting and almost done and look at the time

then I used the scallop oval punch

just about there!

 
then a little bling bling and we are done

so I can have a little something something to post on Monday for you

tonight I get to have a date with wonderful son and Kayla

I am so looking forward to it

so after my install I will get some time with my Evan

so here's to a wonderful weekend and I'll see you back here on Monday
