Gifts of Christmas along the 10 min sketch challenge

FUN STUFF and You'll be so proud of me he he!

I did pretty good!

 
so now I have my sketch and I have my card stock and stamp

I chose Gifts of Christmas

 
so now I have cut my cherry cobbler cardstock

and my brushed gold

 
now for my DSP

I chose the New

Deck of Halls from the Stampin Up Holiday Mini Catalogue

 
I stamped the image with Versa Mark and then embossed it with Gold Embossing powder

 
now to create a circle really quickly with my Big Shot

 
now for the greeting

it's going to be Season's Greetings fromt he set called Curly cute

its in the Stampin Up idea Book

on page 149

and did you know if even comes in French??? Cool uh?

 
so now I have the " Seasons Greetings" stamped in Cherry Cobbler

 
I used my wonderful bow maker that I got from my dear friend Lee!

to make this bow from the seam binding in Cherry Cobbler

 
I am out of time but I only have to adhere and add my brads

so that is pretty good right?

I am soooooooooooo HAPPY with that time!

if this was not a ten a min card I would of embossed the brads as well!

I just had to tie it all together with this little embossed area!

Gifts of Christmas with The Diva Coffee Break Sketch

Good Friday morning! Goodness can you beleive it's Friday all ready! Whow I am like two days behind on my challenges! LOL :)

Anyways I made this card for the Diva Coffee Break Sketch, I had alot of difficulties making this work. Changed my mind a million times lol :)
here is the sketch

Should been easy right?? Yha right! LOL :)

I originally started this way

working on the lay out

not liking the Always Artichoke

okay brand new thought here

 re started with a new stamp set A Gift of Christmas

what do yout think of the Cameo Coral for Christmas card - so outside the box uh?

I coloured the white ribbon with a marker this time, the satin ribbon is easy to colour with a marker.

 I like the ribbon it looks nice

I decided to colour my stamp although I so wish I could water colour

I blended the Cameo Coral and Ruby Red - I love Stampin Up markers they are so awesome!

 

 

Then I aded some all purpose ink on the  leaves and the center of the flowers to add some nice shimmer

 okay had to have a Roza moment - just had too GHURH  -- okay way toooooo MUCH Crystal Effects.  I have to fix this mess now! LOL :)

I can live with this much better - still got some Crystal Effects on the little dots - which I painted with the fabulous new shimmery ink - I love that Stampin Up came up with this I am addicted to it, can you tell? LOL :) HE HE I find it just add a nice touch!

 

okay so now I am done with my card, I have to admit it's not like my favorite card I have ever done.  But you know I guess you got to have some not so great cards to appreciate the really good ones.

I have to work on Gretchen sketch next!

Gifts of Christmas meet LNS challenge #43 and SC251 Sketch

Good Tuesday Morning y'all!

I have one more card made for the LNS Challenge #43 that I told you about yesterday.  My inspiration was  a tootsie roll HE HE :)

my first thought was that I was going to do the Mojo Monday sketch with this!

but I changed my mind after I decided on the stamp so I went with this sketch instead from splitcoast

whow things are going good and look at the time

I stamped my image in chocolate chip to start with - but I only did it to have the dove, as I wanted to cut out the dove and colour him.

I coloured the stamp instead

but I wasn't real happy with the results so I decided to paint the silver leaves on the cardstock instead

alright now I can live with this!

I cut out the little flowers

this is what I was talking about - colouring the dove

now I wanted to add brads - but the silver brads were too shinny - so I took a white brad and painted with the Platinum all purpose ink!

its coming along nicely and no Roza moves this morning

just my Max wanted a little play time!

he is so nice and clean and very soft! He He

well I am done my card

not too bad uh?
