Good day to you my Friends
today I have no card or anything really related to Stampin Up
please accept my appology and hope you will understand
you see today would of been my baby brothers 41st birthday
Paul Ronald Methot
born Sept 5, 1971
passed away on Feb. 3, 2000
I cannot get thru this day without thinking and reflecting on my only sibling
you see Paul was my baby brother
we were very close as kids and even closer as adults
cause Paul worked with my in my first and second company
Paul and I ran a sandblasting and painting shop
(PS Rex's idea to purchase a sandblasting truck he he if we only knew all that this would bring - good job Rexie)
then a few short months later we added the decals aspect to this company
Paul and I were a team
and my kids just loved their uncle Paul
he was just one of them guys that everyone loved
you could not help but be caught by the "Paul" Bug - he was funny
entertaining and so very kind and loyal
oh yes that was my baby brother
as I type this I feel so utterly blessed that we shared so much
so many siblings go for a long time without seeing or talking to each to each
although I only had 28 1/2 years with Paul - I shared so much with this amazing person
today I relfect on those memories and keep them close to my heart
I share his stories with my family and friends on a regular bases
as he is still and continues to live in my memories
I will never loose his spirit cause he was the best little baby brother a sister could ask for
I hope you all understand why I wanted to share this with you
this is a day I cannot just pass by
I would like to share a few photos
the photo is Paul very very tanned taken with my mom and on of our baby cousins
in around '76 or 77
he really knew how to make a person laugh
I giggle as I look at this photo he he
I know I have shared this photo before but I wanted to share it again for two reasons
I think REX is so cute in this photo
and Paul looks super duper young - but what more is the Trucker hat that Paul is wearing
this is the funny part my Evan is wearing Trucker hats now
as a matter of fact we just ordered some for their company
Enviromulch - that is just funny don't you think?
Paul was adorable with this big glasses too uh?? loved this kid so much always made me laugh!!
like this one speaking of laughing
my Grandma - who was so dear to me
I adore this photo of Paul and Grandma (I used to call my grandma
GRUM - cause she was a second mom to me so I had combined Gr from Grandma and um from mum)
lot's of laughter went on in my house growing up I'll tell you
my dad and my brother were great at pulling pranks
this is a sweet photo of Paul
this was our Amie Lee - Rex and I's purebred american eskimo
we actually raised these pups for several years
Amie Lee was with us till 2008!
wonder if they are all together up in heaven???
it's a great memory of my wedding day
my parents look so amazing
and look how handsone my baby brother is
can you see who got the tall in our family lol
yha not me - but Paul sure did
this is a cute photo of Paul as well
I am thinking from the late 90's
Paul and Evan always had their birthdays together
since they were only a week apart
many years in between lol 1971 Paul and 1990 Evan
this was Pauls other love his motorbike
this was the first ride that my Renee ever had on a motorbike
he also took me on a ride this day and I was so scared
but in true Paul fashion he made his sister feel safe
Paul and I had that special bond we just did that for each other
don't really have words for that but it was that way
did I mention how much he loved Evan and Renee
this photo is so precious don't you think???
Renee was just over a year here!
I am going to leave this post with a photo that will cherish forever
you see we had these photos done professionally for my mom
I really love this photo of Paul and I
we both wore jean shirts (oh I know too cool LOL)
but I just treasure this
Paul was and will always be my baby brother
I really do miss him a ton -
I do however feel utterly blessed to have had what we had - the true brother/sister/friend/ working partner
relationship I shared with this wonderful young man
may you rest in peace Paul
love you forever and ever
as a few tears roll down my face I close this post by thanking YOU
for taking this time to honor my Brother with me
I promise to be back into a Stampin Up Post tomorrow
I appreciate you letting me share Paul's birthday with you
Embossed hug from me
