Good morning to you all hope you are doing well on this cool fall day
whow the colours are amazing here in Alberta
I am shaking it up here again on my blog
are you all sick of me changing my schedule up
sorry friends
just a little on the busy side and I do try to make it all work in the end
like my day yesterday - whow a great 12 hour work day and lot's of work coming in
ever mentioned to you how much I am grateful and appreciative for that!
woop woop love it
after work I rushed to my kitchen
I made maple salmon - potatoe wedges and stuffed mushrooms (thanks to Kayla for getting the mushrooms)
I invented that recipe last night and it turned out so gooood
everyone loved it
and then Kayla brought Renee and dessert
what a sweetheart - thank you Kayla
that was a great end to our meal
Tyler is even eating Salmon now - when he came to live with us he was a tad picky
but I tell you he eats well now - I love feeding people makes me feel so happy inside
I had also made homemade soup before I even went to work yesterday - I fed all the girls at work with the soup
all right let's get to Stampin Stressaway business hehe
so today is a recipe day I know it's not Wednesday sorry friends
but hey I do have a little stampin going he he
I did a little stamp kissing this morning in my craft room around 2:45 am
I wasn't kissing my stamps lol the stamps were kissing eash other LOL
fun fun fun
I didn't quite get the results I want yet but I'll keep working on it as I have 3 birthday cards that need to be done and I thought this would be different
take a look
THE COLOURS HERE ARE PUMPKIN PIE AND ALWAYS ARTICHOKE
TRYING Again
NEVER REALIZED THAT I DID NOT HAVE MUCH BACKGROUND STAMPS OR SOLID STAMPS
i am not done - will be still trying to make this work a little better
I won't be able to post tomorrow friends
sorry so hopefully I have this all together for you by Thursday
so are you ready for my recipe
this is the recipe that I mentioned yesterday
thank you so much Tracey for sharing this with me
I did adjust the ingredients and so it's a bit adapted by ME lol
ever mentioned how much I love my new MDS2!!??
I created this recipe(in the MDS2+) from scratch NO template
I used layers of DSP and stamps and embellishments all in the NEW MDS2+
I think it turned out nice don't you ??
This is the cake before I baked it
you can see the cinnamon sugar grinder that I used there
so before I modified the recipe I found that the base was not thick enough
I had doubled the recipe
I ended up making one 9 x 13 pan and an 8x8 pan
so then I modified the recipe and it will give you more base and crumbs for the top
hope you enjoy this one friends
I better go as I am multi tasking here at work
was here at 4:30am - and been cutting decals as I was creating the recipe for you
I better get focusing on the decals and signs that need doing for today
so for now I wish you all a terrifik Tuesday
I'll be back Thursday
ouh I almost fergot Remember when I mentioned about submitting a recipe to me
well I have a little contest to announce on Thursday
so friends get them recipe caps on - cause we will have some fun
Blog CANDY and all woop woop
should be a blast
I gotta go don't want my boss to be mad at me he he
and I wanta be able to be off work at 4:30 so I can go to Yoga with Renee and Kayla
thank you so much for stopping in and dropping me a comment - so very appreciate it
embossed hug from me

Good luck with your cards. I am sure they will turn out great.
I have saved your lovely recipe card and will try it when I get some rhubarb.

I think it is great that you mix things up, keeps at least some of us from being too complacent! Lol! Glad that you are having such a busy work week! You did a very nice job on the recipe card....however, we are not rhubarb fans so will not be trying this one. The recipe contest sounds like fun.... Have a great rest of the week!

Your Rhubarb Cake recipe card looks great! I'm going to try it when the weather turns cooler here. Shouldn't be too long now! Have fun and don't work too hard!

I love what you did with the MDS2. Tempting recipe. Looks and sounds delicious. The maple salmon is making me hungry. I'm anxious to see what you come up with for the stamping you're doing. Have a super day. Hugs from your #1 fan, Annette.

Such a pretty recipe card you made with MDS2. LOVE it, especially the little zigzag treatment across the lower section. Great job!
I LOVE that you mix the schedule up. I am not a schedule girl, I like to come to your blog and get a surprise every time.
Have a wonderful day my friend. Some extra love to my Max.
