Good day y'all
first off I want to share my dear Florida Friend
TAMMY
a very very happy birthday - hope you get your care package real soon!
hope you have a super fabulous day my friend!
Happy birthday to you Tammy!
onto today's post
I know it's Thursday and and silly me I am posting a recipe
I know weird uh?
it's suppose to be on a Wednesday
but I think you all know by now that I have a few struggles along my way of getting things accomplished
my lovely Mac laptop is yet again giving me grief
and always seems to be when my Renee is away sigh
anyways I was unable to download the new MDS2 plus
I have some sort of security I guess on my laptop that I have not clue what to do TEAR
that did not stop me from creating this recipe for you anyways lol
this recipe created in the MDS
and perhaps over the weekend I can figure out how to make MDS2 Plus work
I can't wait to play in the new program
it should be fun stuff
a few photos to help you along to create this square
the puffed wheat I put in a large bowl
I line my pan with parchment paper
pour melted liquid into the puffed wheat and mix well
then I press down the mixture with a potatoe masher
I know strange but it works so well
you want to really pack it in so the squares will stay together when they are cut
note I use my fabulous rubber scissors from Stampin Up
to cute the parchment paper
I have two pairs of these in my kitchen
oh I know I love them for more then one reason lol
so friends that will be my recipe post for today
I will try to post tomorrow I am not sure how that will go
I will be short staffed for the next 6 days
so I hope I can make it all happen
I will for sure post Saturday - mission of my thank you cards
and I will also be working on my
Christmas Buffet cards
remember the date friends
SUNDAY AUGUST 19TH
Starting at 12;30pm
I will have 10 cards for you to create
you don't have to do them all - up to you
each card will range from $2.50 each to $4.50
depending on the layers and goodies
it's just like a food buffet lol - but cards instead and zero calories
I KNOW IT WILL BE SO FUN
have you reserved your spot to attend yet???
email me at
stampinstressaway@me.com
and I will ensure I have a spot for you
ouh la la this is going to be my first time doing this event - hope you can join me!
hope you enjoyed this post friends
so until next time I wish you all a very very happy Thursday
embossed hug from me

Wow, haven't had puffed wheat square in years. Got to try your recipe!
I know how it is with the computer. You are miles ahead of me as I haven't even tried to learn the MDS features. I am computer challenged to the enth degree, so no point adding more stress I figure!!! LOL
