Good Morning Morning to you all
it's a new week ahead
another busy one coming our way
our Tracey is on holidays this week
we have Renee and Kayla back
and I have a safety course in Calgary that I leave for on Tuesday after work
yes it will be a busy one sigh
but that's all good
I am so very very blessed to have work
I got to measure up some cranes on Saturday that we will be putting decals on
so again very very blessed(now we need the work Angels to help with Rex Evan and Tyler let the work begin)
I did a great 90 min hot flow class that morning with Suzie it was really good
after that measuring decals I brought the boys lunch out to the new land and got to check the new road they are building
and I picked a few fresh veggies from the garden which was super nice and yhummy
I got to use my new oven yhippy
Sunday that oven was non stop
over 72 muffins came from there
beef dip
and then for supper a big beautiful pot roast
house got cleaned and all laundry done
I also prepped for my September clubs class'
I am just putting together little gifts for my returning club members
I do have 3 spots in one group if you are interested in joining
their first date is Sept. 23rd
email me at stampinstressaway@me.com
I would hate for this group to not be a go???
---------------
and so I was also playing in my craft room on Saturday norning and found this fun challenge
so I thought that would be something different
I started with a piece of DSP that you may not think could be denim right??
this DSP is called
Natural Composition
then I sponged some Midnight Muse ink
do you see how it will look more like denim now?
then I tried a few different layers
ha - yes I played around to create the card
sponged ribbon and created a bow for the gift card that I inserted into the pocket
what do you think?
well friends this is my last photo
hope you enjoyed this post
I had fun making this card
it's very much out of my style
but that's fun sometimes you know??
I put the bow right on the gift card kinda cute hey
all right so don't forget
BLOG CANDY GOING ON
till Saturday
I'll announce the Winner on Sunday
ouh yes and Sunday is Christmas Card Buffet
looking forward to seeing you then
all right I have to get ready
Sunrise yoga is calling my name (sadly did not get to go yesterday sigh)
so you all have a super fabulous day
I'll be back tomorrow morning
embossed hug from me

You are right, I would never have thought of that paper for denim. Great job and now I may just have to get some of that paper.

What a creative masterpiece in using that cardstock and converting it to great denim looking stuff! You have such neat ideas - crimping it helped a lot. I agree it's not your "usual" kind of card - girl, you can make anything look spectacular! Sometimes when I read your blog, I think -whew-slow down girl- but you seem to thrive on business! Thanks for sharing!
