Bootiful Occasions Stampin Up Halloween card & Blog Candy

Good morning y'all

It's Thursday whow nearing another end of the week

yesterday was not as I had planned 

but hey that is certainly okay

I really do love it when things pop up

I think it keeps me on my toes and I like to be surprised lol

we did not do that install yesterday it ended up raining and they could not bring it into the shop for us

so this afternoon we will be there installing decals on their crane instead

I always say

everything happens for a reason 

and it worked out perfect

the decals are ready and Renee did a beautiful design on gift certificates for Tangled Hair Design

they turned out great

Tracey and I tried very hard to balance the statement we figured it out but it was challenging 

love that too lol

Miss Kayla you rocked out all them DACAPAS (hope you feel better today missie)

last night was a nice evening and I was able to catch up on some rest (after only sleeping like 2 hours the night before) it felt good to get 6 hours of sleep woop woop

so onto today

I got up at 2:45am to make a card and now I am ready to post it for you

I used the Mojo Monday sketch along with paper piecing challenge from paper players

 

I don't really do Halloween cards as per say

but this boot was just too cute not to use lol

so I used the stamp set called

BOOTIFUL OCCASIONS

along with the designer paper called

HOWLSTOOTH & SCARINGBONE

cut name uh?

the start to my card 

Very Vanilla Base

DSP and Basic Black

I added layers

the colours here are more mustard and I used Pumpkin Pie ribbon

I stamped the cute little boot 

on Very Vanilla - more mustard and the DSP

ready to do some paper piecing

all assembled 

I even puched some holes in the boot so the very vanilla would show thru

and voila my card

it's different but I think it's cute
