Photo anniversary book/card "Serene Silhouettes"

Good Day to you all hope This Thursday finds you all well

sorry for not posting yesterday

it's a bit more challenging getting in my craft room to share with you all

when I have special guests and work

it's been such a wonderful week thus far and really am enjoying my time with Margot and her three very very amazing children

it's been interesting to say the least to feed 10 t0 12 people but wait this is not just it

my oven went on the fritz on Tuesday while I was preparing dinner

and so Kayla and I did a  little backing up and we tried to BBQ

oh my goodness yes well that did not work so well and a fire was had lol

needless to say we did do a stove top supper 

but it's been really good for a super good hearted belly laugh

Margot and I have managed to go to hot yoga every day this week so far

and she too is addicted just like I am!

so cool - I am so enjoying the peaceful mind for 60 to 75 min!

it's such a beautiful gift and to share with Margot

is just that much more special

all right enough rambling on

sorry folks

onto my post today

it's the anniversary book/card that I created for Rex

I created my own template for this card and made lot's of panels to hold a little lifes story

starting with many photos

a 12x12 basic black cardstock 

scored in many directions

then some cutting 

ouh a lot of trial and error on the folding so it would fold very nicely

then some fiddling around with the photos

did a lot of matting after the photos were selected

I tired to choose stamp lol

I found the stamp

and I sponged

I used the new set called

serene silhouettes

here is the book/card open flat 

all photos are matted and some matts are sponged

ouh and I added a seam binding ribbon

almost all folded up

it was interesting folding this up correctly lol

extra scoring was required 

but it worked he he

phew it worked

it was such a fun creation for me

it's pretty thick when all said and done with

What a wonderful album and short history of your life together! You always seem to make do when things go wrong, am sure your stove top dinner was great and what a fun story for your friends to be able to share when they get home!

That is so gorgeous my friend! You can tell all the love you put into that beautiful creation. But the most beautiful creation of all is the wonderful family you 2 have created from the love you have shared. I am always in aw to see and hear about your beautiful family.
Oh no, you without an oven is a total crime! Hope you get it fixed SOON!!!
I can not wait to see the beautiful pic of Max without the gas thing. That will be awesome! You should make that one on a canvas. SO pretty.
