Good day to you all my friends
My weekend was a busy one trying to help our Kayla get ready for Grad-
Friday work day was nuts and it consisted of about 16 hour day
Saturday was equally busy
the morning started in the office at about 4:00am
then Renee and Woody did an install on site with the decals I assembled
Kayla and I went and picked up her grad dress
don't you worry i'll share photos over the next weekend
she looks stunning
however the shoes she had picked out a few weekends ago she decided she did not like with the dress
sooooo off to get another pair of shoes oh and the earings did not match either
we spent the entire day at the mall
Renee and Woody joined us and we also birthday shopped for Kayla
done done done yhippy
Sunday was a quiet morning I actually slept till 4:30 am I was a tad tired
then headed to 90 hot yin yoga
have I said I love yoga lol
on Sunday it was also Rex and I's 23rd wedding anniversary
it's one of them days that you truly reflect on
I remember chasing my little American Eskimo pup in field with my veil on my head a few hours before my wedding
with my dad sigh
I remember my brother being teary eyed when we were getting family photos done of the 5 of us
it seems like along time ago
and yet it seems like yesterday
I remember Rex's face when he seen me walk down the aisle
with my mom and dad
sigh tear
anyways enough of that
okay so I will share the beautiful card I made Rex towards the end of the week
but first something I had not shared with many people was that I had entered the Artisan award contest
well I am not a winner
but I do want to share some of the projects that I submitted
hope you all don't mind?
this week I will show you what I sent to Stampin Up
starting with with this flower tree
it was a lite up flower tree that I created
I made 29 of these 6 to 8 layered velum flowers for my tree
I sponged all the layers as well
assembly took place of the flowers onto the branches
it's hard to see what they really look like uh??
the next photo is not too good but wanted to see how it looked lite up
like I said hard to see uh?
okay one more photo of my non winning tree sigh
I will continue to share during the week
It was weird creating projects and not sharing with you!!!
tomorrow I will share the card I created to go with this tree
so for today I hope you all have a magical Monday
embossed hug from me

Belated Happy Anniversary wishes to you and Russ! We did not have a big wedding but a very nice reception later in the day, and your memories brought mine back...41 plus years later! How wonderful you entered the Artisan Award contest, amazing that you were not selected...you and several other demos whose blogs I follow...never sure what they look for! Your tree is fabulous and excited to see your other projects! Have a great week!

Happy Anniversary. I am sorry you didn't win especially since I know your work. The winners must have been out of this world if you didn't win because you are fantastic. I love your work and get so much inspiration from you.
