so yesterday consisted of a nice family dinner
we were all together
thank you Mom for helping me make Rex's Fathers day really special
I made homemade BBQ burgers that I had seasoned the night before (I am going to share this recipe on Wednesday)
Kayla says my burgers are the best lol thank you Kayla you are too cute
I made a really yhummy spinach salad with my own dressing
and a spring salad again with my own dressing
did some beautiful roasted veggies
cut up alot of different veggies for the burgers including avocadoes (we all love them)
Renee and Woody were in charge of the dessert
which was super good as well!
I had also made homemade soup
and had corn ready to boil (butI fergot to cook it LOL)
oh well it will go with tonights supper lol
so now onto what I created yesterday morning for Rex's card
I used the Mojo Monday sketch (from last week lol)
and two new stamp sets
NEW SETS USED "HARVEST BLESSINGS & DELIGHTFUL DOZEN"
Let me begin
I used Basic Black for my card base
but let me say that I changed my mind alot after this he he
I stamped the tractor on watercolor cardstock
with black staz on
so at this point I was not happy with the look
onto some changes he he
I rethought this and I like this much better
I used my folder called
''AGYLE''
ouh la la and more NEW GOODIES
DELICATE DOILIES SIZZLITS
how adorable
oh but wait I kept the shape of this but
I used basic black with that doilie instead
I really did a number on this one he he
like I said I really did a number on this greeting lol
I stamped it three times and die cut it with the bitty banners
(not like the best I have ever done - I was running out of time)
colours used
BASIC BLACK
VERY VANILLA
CHERRY COBBLER
AND OLD OLIVE
I coloured the pearls with my black stampin write marker
these did take a while to dry just so you know
but I like them they look nice
note that this only works with your black stampin write marker
and
well friends that will be Rex's Father's day card ready
this will do it for me today
hope you enjoyed my post today
I would love to read your comments
after all you could win the fabulous BLOG CANDY

Love this card, and the colours you used, cherry cobbler and old olive are some of my favourites. Cheers, Chris

This is fantastic. Dean would love it and I could keep it red since his tractor is red. Sorry I have been MIA but I have looked back at everything. AS usual, I love your blog.
