Hello friends

the week is shaping up to be a good busy one thus far

ouh and today is my nephews birthday

ill share the card I am creating for him over the weekend okay

Tyler here`s a fabulous Birthday Buddy

supper tonight will be yhummy!

Soooooooooo since I missed posting on Monday I will make up by sharing 3 thank you cards that I made for

Wanda, Renee and Kayla

you see first Wanda did extra stuff for me last week - I always so appreciate all the things she does for me

then we have our miss Renee

she is so sweet - last week while I was an appointment she put a scratch and win lottery ticket on my windshield

and on that same day I came home to Renee and Kayla making dinner

too sweet

I am so blessed to have such wonderful people in my life

ouh and Tracey is doing a wonderful job learning to be our Wanda

It`s wonderful how she askes lot`s of questions and really cares liked email from home to Wanda worries about the GST report

oh yes Tracey you are doing awesome girl

all right enough blah blah blah from me

onto the post

here we go

I started with 3 Crump cake Cardstock I cut a  8 1/2 x 11 into three to make these cute little cards

then for some layers

oh yes love layers lol

now for some stampin and I also made the rosette for each card

but I did more like a fan

looking good uh

so each card has different ribbon and a little different feel to them

voila 3 little thank you cards

A 3D box Created for a special friend

hello friends

sorry for not posting yesterday - I had a pretty ruff Sunday and I needed to just rest up

so I am here today with bells on!

I recreated a really cool box

This is the Christmas Keepsake Box

but I turned into a Birthday Keepsake Box for my Friend Jan

(whos birthday was in October - my bad)

anyways we finally got together on Friday and I created this little box for her

so I started with the box kit

but like I said I changed it up

I used Cherry Cobbler and Black Cardstock

then I used some wonderful DSP

then a top note cut out and a some fabulous ribbon to match

now for the decorating details

I used the circle scallop punch and punched several circles from the DSP

I also made a pretty bow

then a little stampin and few roses and a box was created

voila this is the little keepsake box I created for Jan

it's vintage uh?

I think she liked it

I enjoyed making it - I have been less then creative lately so it was really fun to make soemthing like this and feel success

Thursday life post

Hello Friens

hope that this post on this fine Thursday finds you all well

I am sure that you in the states are celebrating thanksgiving

yhum - I would do another thanksgiving (for turkey)lol

soooooooooooooo today on my blog it's a little life post

I know I sure hope  you are not getting sick of these yet lol

let me say that this week has been no different in the fact that it's been very very busy and lot's and lot's of stuff happening

lot's of changes

and you know what they say right?

change is as good as a rest

whow I must well rested then UH?????
LOL
all right so I wanted so share a few photos with your

the first is of my Honda snowblower lol

I know funny uh?

but I have to do the driveway and the steps and all that when the boys are gone to work

so Rex, Evan and Tyler went shopping a few weeks ago

and I got a new beautiful snowblower

and I have had to use it alot all ready

so it's one more chore that I have to do before I go to work

I know how many more things can I cram in lol

adorable don't you think???

now I want to share a little office stuff

this area we revamped

Renee and Kayla were really busy building and cleaning before Wanda had come back

take a look at Wanda Kayla's new area in the office

It's not a big fancy office

but it's all ours he he

Wanda liked it

and this is where Tracey will be working

you see they just love to get their little snacks

you can see that Goldie and Charlie are giving me their paws so nice

and Max was being a little stubborn lol

oh well I got him to do all his trick onces the other two were off enjoying their snacks

A thank you card

Good mornin y'all
So this is my first post with my IPad
I am not sure if this is going to work the way I am expecting it to
I am trying to be prepared for up and coming holidays

I created a card for Wanda's husband on the weekend
You see we are in the process of getting a new service truck for the companies
The truck is coming from California but the the service box with the picker coming from arizona
We George went and checked out the company that is doing the box for us
And so I wanted to make him a card

I have had a super interrupted weekend with little accomplished

well lot's of business stuff like banking and then  errands to do

it did not feel like a Saturday at all more like a middle of the week kinda day

It's a Thursday Recipe Day "Tres Leche Cake" on the MDS

good day friends

sorry that I was not able to post yesterday

things are almost back to normal today

office will be back in shape with Wanda's return - and few clean up duties that the girls and I did were a success!

yhippy - never a dull moment in my life lol

 

all right so let's start with the MDS recipe and then I would like to share some step by step photos of the cake making procedure

this is such a moist cake - the first time I ever had it was in Costa Rica and just could not get enough of it

 so I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I have enjoyed making it and eating it

now for the step by steps

after the cake has been baked - and like I mentioned in my recipe I would double the recipe for the cake next time

I found it to be a bit to flat

I used a thick skewere and poked several holes in the cake

 

I then prepared the glaze

the cream is not whipped or anything you just whisk all three milks together to pour into the holes of you cake

I transfered the cake into a bigger glass pan

and then poured the entire milk mixture

the next morning I decorated the cake with the whipped topping that I had made the day before

I also added some pretty fruit

voila my Tres Leche Cake

so very very yhummy
